Soojin's POV

"Yes mom, the doctor's are checking up on him now Inshallah he will be fine." My mom sobbed on the other end while yelling at my dad to get ticket's to Canada. "No mom, you need to rest." My mom was diagnosed with cancer 3 days ago, I didn't want to come to Canada because I had to leave her for that. 

I hadn't told anyone this, because the last thing I need is to have them worry for me. I calmed my mom down some more before my dad hung up for her. I sighed and leaned down on to the floor, my dupatta tangled around my messy state. 

Someone sat down beside me and I looked to see Sabha there. She smiled at me while I just looked away. She held onto me while I sobbed into her shoulder. A lot of people hated Nadeem because he's rude, but they don't know that that's the way he copes. He has a lot of responsibility's with the corporation, and taking care of my mom and me and dad. 

"Nadeem isn't like this." I whispered into Sabha's shoulder, she for some reason froze at the mention of Nadeem. "He has a lot of pressure on him."  Nadeem was lonely, I tried to talk to him but he would just push me away. My mom said that he would be happy with a wife, but we don't know who would be willing to put up with us. 

"He has to take care of the corporation, and he has to take care me and my mom and my dad. His way to cope is being mean to people Sabha, please understand." As every word came out of me my tears kept on coming out. 

Sabha said nothing and silently held me as I cried. 

Rayyana's POV

I stood outside of the waiting room while Amir sat beside me silently. We were both sitting there lost in our thoughts, and maybe it wasn't the right time but I had to know. 

"Sabha told me about you two." Amir looked up at me "Amir, what you did was not right in any way, shape, or form but Sabha likes you." Amir blinked at me and hung his head low in shame. 

"I can't help it Rayyana, I love Sabha more then I did back then but with Nadeem, and her money problem." I raised my eyebrow at him "Money problem?" He looked at me for a seconds before saying "Never mind it wasn't her, it was some other girl." 

I shook my head "Don't fucking lie to me Amir what do you mean money problem?" So with a sigh he told me about Sabha and her money problem. 

Sabha's POV

I couldn't take it anymore, knowing Nadeem could die I had to. 

"Soojin... I have to tell you something but promise you won't be mad?" She sniffled and wiped her tears nodding at me. So I took a deep breath and told her every last thing, to my money problem, to Nadeem and Amir every last thing. 

After a while of Soojin staring at me, she suddenly got up and glared at me. "So, you would have married Nadeem for money? that's it?" I shook my head quickly "No, I also... like him?" It came out like a question and I knew I had fucked up. 

"NO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU SABHA? YOU WOULD HAVE USED MY BROTHER? I KNOW HE'S NOT NICE BUT I TOLD YOU WHY HE ISNT, HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK LIKE THAT? AND YOU WOULD HAVE JUST GIVEN HIM UP FOR AMIR? WHAT KIND OF "LOVE" IS THAT?" 

"Soojin." Rayyana whispered from behind her, I turned to see Amir, and Rayyana standing there. "NO, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU SABHA? I LET YOU IN, I TELL YOU MY SECRET'S AND THIS IS YOUR THINKING?"

She took sharp breaths and cried out "WELL GUESS FUCKING WHAT? NADEEM LOVED YOU SABHA, HE LOVED YOU MORE THEN ANYTHING IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD AND NOW YOUR CHOOSING AMIR WHEN HE COULD BE DYING IN THERE?"

Amir opened his mouth and said "She loves me Soojin, your brother is great but her heart belongs to me." Again, I was mesmerized by the confidence in Amir's tone. But did my heart belong to him? Or was I just confused? He had bullied me, yet saved me at the same time. 

My father always had this side to him that he showed no one but me, my mom, and my brother and the sad thing is, that side wasn't worth looking at. One day, Amir had figured it out by seeing some bruises on me and since then he had changed. Well.. sort of. 

He would always check up on me secretly in class, and after school. He would walk with me home, and would pretend to bully me. Soon, we became best friends but that ended when Maha and him teamed up. 

Since then, my love and respect for him was lost. And there was nothing I could do about it, but watch as the people I trusted the most lost me and how my father changed day by day. 

And now, I might lose them again. 

"Oh does she now?" Soojin laughed evilly "She's using YOU for your MONEY as fucking well, she doesn't need your LOVE Amir, or Nadeem's." She pointed a finger at me 

"She just needs the money, SHE'S A HOE FOR MONEY AREN'T YOU SABHA?" I shook with tears in my eyes, she was right. I had been so greedy for money, and it wasn't for my mom or my brother either it was just for me. 

I am a horrible person.

"Yes Soojin, you are right. But I realize my mistake, I'm sorry and I promise that I will never come across your path but please forgive me." She scoffed at me and with tears glistening in her eyes she said "I trusted you Sabha, Nadeem trusted you. But you aren't worthy of us." 

I stood there silently knowing she was right. Suddenly we heard someone clear their throat and we turned to see a doctor standing there looking at me and Soojin who were crying, and a very confused Rayyana and Amir. 

"Are any of you family member's of Nadeem Shah?" Soojin sniffled and said "Yes, I'm his sister." The doctor stared at her in sorrow and shook his head. 

"I'm sorry, we tried the best we could." And then he walked away, that's what doctors do. Deliver their lines and then walk away. What's it to them? There getting paid to say that line. 

 Tears were falling out of me and Rayyana's eyes while Amir just stood there with his head hung low. Soojin stood there as well smiling and turning to me. 

"Forgive me Sabha, what I meant was... you aren't worthy of me"
