I had hopes.

I had dreams.

But they all came crashing down.

It was a night like any other, me and mom watching my sister's Humna and Zoya play while my dad was coming back home from the mosque.

My parent's used to always say "Try your hardest, don't stop." and I didn't.

This time me and mom were sitting dressed waiting for my dad to take us out.

His company had finally started to work out the way he had planned.

But ALLAH (swt) Had other plans.

I watched my house burn while my parent's and sister's yelled for help.

I yelled back at them, and at everyone around me to help.

Firefighter's and Police officer's rushed to the scene but whatever ALLAH (swt) wants, happens.

I was there when my parent's and sister's were buried.

I was there when my parent's and sister's screamed for help.

I was there to hear all the sympathetic words from people.

I was there when in court I was legally handed to my dad's sister.

My aunt.

The same aunt who hated me.

The same aunt who wanted my father to fail in life.

The same aunt who wanted my father dead.

That day was the one day I had stopped trying.

I had let my parent's down.
