IT WAS the dead of night, a boat swinging forward reached its destination. Jungkook and Lisa finally set foot on One's turf.

Sneaking past the giant and thick forest, Lisa suddenly lost her balance. Thankfully, Jungkook who was behind her caught her waist and safely pulled her to a nearby thick bush.

Lisa bit her lips, "Shit."

The narcotics are starting to wear off. Allowing her senses to slowly feel the burning pain on her legs.

"Take it easy. We just entered the island and you're already this hurt." Jungkook sarcastically joked.

He took out the syringe with narcotics and carefully injected the drug on Lisa's arm.

"Kinda pisses me off that you being immune to such strong drug is actually regulating your body to harmful risks." Jungkook said, making Lisa chuckle.

"Drugs aren't all that bad." She shrugged her shoulders.

They started moving. There were four look out in the front gate which Jungkook easily annihilated with one bullet each.

As soon as Lisa set foot and walked past the huge back gate, flash of memories started coming inside her head.

"Ah, I hate it here." She muttered.

Remembering how she was used as a lab rat for drugs and escaped through this same back gate, 10 years ago.

Jungkook noticed a basement staircase by the left side, a parking space which was surrounded by six men. All armed. Suspiciously and highly guarded, Jungkook glanced at Lisa to call her attention.

"Look. Something down there seems to be something important." Jungkook whispered.

Lisa sighed, "That's the laboratory and where the cells are."

Jungkook eyed Lisa out of nowhere. He felt concerned for having the thoughts of Lisa's past.

The beauty glanced at Jungkook's concerned puppy eyes. She silently chuckled.

"It's not going to happen to me whatever happened in the past. Unlike before, I have someone helping me now." She aimed her sniper at the two men, aligned at their stand.

"These two motherfuckers are still alive, huh." She muttered.

Jungkook furrowed his brows, "You know them?"

"He tried to chase Eli the first time we tried to escape but he only caught me. And then there's the guy beside him who gives me breakfast inside my cell... after spitting on it." Lisa gritted her teeth.

Jungkook clenched his fist and looked down at his feet. He felt furious yet wanted to comfort the person beside him.

"Bye, motherfuckers." She muttered and pulled the trigger.

The one bullet hit two heads talking to each other. As chunks of flesh exploded right in the center of the space, the remaining four guys immediately aimed their guns at their surroundings. Instead of taking cover, they chose to pull their triggers. Not minding where they were aiming, only to make a noise to signal the others.

"Go. The mansion is on the right." Lisa said, still aiming at the remaining look outs.

"No. I can't leave you. It's safer when we do it together." He disagreed.

Lisa sighed, "Their guns are too loud. People will come in less than 5 minutes. One has at least 100 men scouting here."

"Stop being stubborn." Jungkook pulled out his kriss vector mini-machine gun.

Lisa smirked, "You're the stubborn one."

As if they were a dvd, gunshots echoed on the island. It was raining bullets, making the sound of a noise from a television having no signal.

Just as Lisa guessed, people started coming in groups of more than five. Because of Jungkook's multiple trigger count, the enemies were able to identify their spot.

The two of them took cover behind the big metal gate.

"You got enough ammo?!" Lisa shouted.

Jungkook looked down and peeked inside his vest, "I came prepared."

"Well... That sounds reassuring." She muttered. Jungkook only furrowed his brows.

Lisa pulled Jungkook close to her mouth, "Cover me. I need to go through the entrance and snipe their back ups from behind. I can't aim properly with all the commotion going on here!"

The guy nodded, "Sure! Let's meet at the mansion. I'll hold them out until you're at the front. Give me a signal if the coast is clear."

Lisa nodded and gave him an "okay" sign.

"3, 2... 1!" Jungkook raised his gun and continued shooting, giving Lisa the opportunity to run to the other side.

The doll sprinted to the empty front gate and climbed up on the watch tower.

She positioned her sniper and was about to pull the trigger when she heard a gun clicking behind her head.

"Not today, Ma'am." A familiar voice spoke behind her.

Lisa immediately raised her hands in the air, "You got me."

"Three steps back. Away from the sniper, please. And turn around slowly." The feminine voice behind her sounded professional and calm.

Definitely a dangerous woman, she thought.

Lisa did as she was told. She took three steps back, as well as the woman aiming a gun behind her. Their footsteps made creaking noises on the wooden floor.

As Lisa slowly turned around, she nearly reached 180° and took the chance to duck and push the woman forward.

The woman was caught off guard at the sudden action, making the gun slip away from her hands.

They both fell on the floor, Lisa still holding the woman's waist down. The woman saw the gun at a hand reached distance and was about to grab a hold of it when Lisa let go of her waist and kicked the gun out of reach.

Now at a safe distance, the two women immediately stood up and stood by their stances.

But as soon as they faced each other, their eyes slowly widened.

"S-Seulgi unnie?" Lisa muttered.

The woman gasped, recognizing who's right in front of her.

"How... What happened? I—Unnie? Seulgi Unnie. It's you, right?" She couldn't find the right words.

Seulgi bit her lips, "You left us."

Lisa's eyes widened, "What? No. I would never..."

"Yes you did! And now Yeri is dead! They took her to the lab as your replacement! If you didn't leave, if only you endured a little longer! We could've gotten away with all of this! You... You only think of yourself." Seulgi's tears started falling down non stop.

Lisa had an emotionless expression. She didn't know what to feel or what to say.

"You asked what happened? Why i am on Jung Jaewon's side right now? Because if I leave this place, that would mean i've left Yeri and her memories too. There isn't much of a chance to leave this place anyway. And if I did leave, that would make me no different from you." She glared at Lisa who is still standing emotionlessly on her spot.

Seulgi clenched her fist, "Killing you will probably give Yeri the peace she wanted."

She suddenly swings her punch at Lisa, hitting the latter and causing her to stumble on the floor.

Lisa slowly sat up and wiped the blood on her broken lip. She stood up as Seulgi watches her get into her fighting stance.

"What. You're just gonna take that beating? Say something! Fuck!" Seulgi shouted at her.

Only silence. Lisa kept her mouth shut.

"Fine." Seulgi did a full swing of a hook kick.

She was caught off guard when Lisa dodged the attack effortlessly. As if she didn't get a huge blow on the face earlier.

Just as Seulgi retrieved her feet, Lisa was already at a position where she kicked Seulgi's ankles and causing the latter to fall down.

Seulgi was about to sit up and recover her stance when Lisa instantly stomped on Seulgi's knee, just enough to penetrate the weak veins on her legs without breaking a bone.

Lisa sat on top of her. Seulgi felt intimidated and unconsciously threw a punch at Lisa's face. It was a weak punch compared to the first one, due to Seulgi's pain sensitivity on her left knee.

The doll looked down at her. Her jet black eyes and thick lashes gave the spotlight of her death glare.

Lisa raised her fist up in the air. Seulgi immediately used both her arms to cover her face, shut her eyes close and prepared for the impact.

Few seconds and still, nothing landed on Seulgi's body. Instead, she felt cold droplets of liquid fall on her dry skin.

Seulgi slowly opened her eyes and peeked through her arms.

And saw huge drops of tears falling from Lisa's expressionless face.

Seulgi's eyes widened, "Why..."

Lisa's fist that was up in the air is trembling. She was trembling. She slowly rested her fist and looked up.

She sighed, "I guess if I died here instead of escaping, none of this would've happened."

Seulgi only looked away, half guilty of what she said.

"I didn't know Yeri became my replacement... I actually didn't even think I could escape this island before. I didn't think I'd see you again this way." Lisa continued.

Another long silence before she spoke.

"And now, I can't think straight anymore." She said.

Seulgi was left speechless. Still looking away and feeling guiltier than ever.

"Did you know, Seulgi Unnie?" She asked.

Seulgi looked at her. Lisa is now looking down at Seulgi with a light smile on her lips yet her eyes had no sparkle at all.

She continued, "When I escaped the island, I got married. I even got pregnant. But it didn't last too long as One killed him. Then I miscarried my own child due to stress. Everyday, I wished someone would just shoot me in the head and let me rot. I wish I never left the island and died here instead."

"But I found Eli. You know her, right? My twin sister I kept telling you and Yeri about. I found out she was a famous model. I saw her on TV. She was so beautiful. She grew up so well. She had nice clothes and nice jewelry. I can see she's enjoying herself. She looked so happy while I'm left alone in my house with nothing to give. I didn't wanna ruin her so I had to recover. I had to become someone who is able to protect her. I grew an organized crime business. I earned power, respect, and spread fear on One's reach." She said.

"But it took me too long. I was too late. When I found my sister, she was already in front of a death's door. One killed her. Even after all I did to protect her, nothing reached her. It was all for nothing. They still took her away from me. They left nothing. I was left with nothing but memories I badly want to forget." Her voice started cracking.

Lisa clenched her fist, "After spending sleepless nights for years and having the same image slide through my mind every night, I realized none of this is my fault. I shouldn't be suffering like this. I shouldn't be the one fated to experience all this shit. It should be One. There's no one other than him that should be suffering. He's the cause of all of this. He started this shit. Him and his father should be the one castrated from existence. Then none of this will happen anymore. Nobody will hurt the people around me anymore. No one else will hurt Jungkook anymore." She muttered the last sentence in a soft voice.

At the mention of his name, Lisa was hit with a realization.

She immediately got off of Seulgi and stood up from the floor. She ran towards her sniper and peeked through the scope.

Jungkook is totally surrounded by armed men and is almost out of ammo.

"Lisa, what the hell happened to you?" He thought as he continued to fire his shots at the enemy.

Lisa bit her lips as Jungkook is outnumbered and almost as good as dead in the present situation.

She started loading her sniper and pulled the trigger.

Seulgi, on the other hand, slowly stood and watched as Lisa killed her allies one by one.

She stared at where Lisa was aiming and saw the guy with a machine gun, jet black hair with tattoos on his arm and is on the large side of a man's figure.

"Jungkook. Your new heart?" Seulgi asked.

Lisa continued shooting, "What are you talking about, Unnie?"

"He's the reason you choose to keep on living up until now, Lisa." Seulgi said, making Lisa glance at her.

Seulgi smiled at her, "I lost Yeri, my heart. I won't find a new one if I stay here any longer."

The doll smiled back at her. Now, her eyes finally had stars in it. They sparkled prettier than the galaxy.

After exchanging smiles and giving each other the silent farewells, Lisa put his attention back to where Jungkook was and continued increasing her dead count.

Seulgi sighed and was about to walk down the tower when she shouted, "Lisa!"

Lisa glanced at Seulgi.

Seulgi looked at her friend's face for the last time, "One's not in the mansion. He has an underground room down at the laboratory. You'll find him there. Just keep turning left."

"Thank you." Lisa said.

Seulgi nodded, "I'll see you around."

"I'll see you around, Unnie."
