NOT wasting a minute, Jungkook immediately drove back to the mansion, only to see a thick tower of smoke from a distance coming from the mansion.

"Hyung!" He got off the motorcycle and rushed towards Taehyung and Jennie who were on their knees shouting their daughter's name.

Jungkook got a full view of the mansion getting burned in ruins, "Shit."

"Where are the others?! Bobby?" He asked the couple.

Taehyung eyed him and shook his head, "They went to get the tools earlier."

Jungkook gritted his teeth, "Stay here."

He suddenly rushed towards the mansion before Taehyung could even stop him. He took his jacket off, tossing it on the ground and went inside.

He covered both his mouth and nose with his left arm, "Lisa!"

The house was too big and it smoke is slowly building up inside. Jungkook looked up and the second floor was almost filled with fire.

He saw the fire extinguisher by the side of the staircase. He rushed and grabbed it with both his hands and pulled the pin.

"Lisa!" He started coughing as the smoke increased.

He felt like he's inside an oven, about pop out from too much heat. He shook his head when it got harder to breath, allowing his physical capability to see clearer.

Jungkook leaned on the wall to catch his breath. Not wanting to give up, he shouted her name one more time.

"Lisa! Where are you?!" He shouted a little louder.

And this time he heard a bark from a distance. Another bark was heard, indicating there were two dogs by the end of the isle.

With all the strength left, he stood up and ran towards the isle. The ceiling was crashing down as well as the floor. The smoke is getting thicker and Jungkook is slowly losing his consciousness.

The barking continued and he finally reached the door of Chloe's room.

He opened the room and saw it empty. He heard a loud bark in the bathroom.

He immediately crawled over and opened the door, meeting two of Lisa's huge doberman dogs.

"J-Jungkook..." Lisa muttered.

Jungkook's eyes widened when he saw Lisa in the bathtub filled with blood and water, with Chloe in her hands.

Jungkook stood up and saw Lisa's right thigh totally burned to the skin.

"Chloe..." She muttered with her tiny voice.

Chloe is peacefully thumb sucking on Lisa's arms, completely clueless of what was happening.

"Take her." She spoke again.

Jungkook shook his head, "I'm not losing you too."

He carefully listed Lisa up with Chloe in bridal style. But Lisa groaned in pain when Jungkook is slightly touched her wound.

"Bear it for a little longer." Jungkook said.

He immediately got out of the bathroom, finding the two dogs waiting for them and barking non stop.

"Boys, get the ball." Lisa said.

The dogs immediately went and guide Jungkook downstairs. The front door is completely ruined and the fire is almost touching them.

Jungkook followed Lisa's dogs, leading him towards the back door.

His knees were ready give out. But as soon as he saw the back door open and the clear light illuminating from outside, he took bigger and faster steps.

And finally got out before the ceiling gave out and blocked the door way.

He kneeled on the floor and almost dropped Lisa. He carefully laid Lisa on the floor, heaving a deep sigh of relief.

He closed his eyes when he finally heard the siren getting louder.

"Good boy." Lisa muttered when one of her dogs had a ball in their mouths and the other, licking the dirt stains on her forehead.

He smiled when he saw Lisa still humming a lullaby to Chloe.

Jungkook scooted closer and looked down on the sleepy Chloe.

"She's such a brave girl." Lisa smiled.

Jungkook looked at her, "And you're such a great parent."

Lisa met Jungkook's eyes sparkling towards her. She was about to respond when the rescue team finally arrived.

Everything was going so fast but Lisa was sure...

She wished to see those eyes one more time.

Hospital
1 : 43 pm

"Why are you so stubborn? Lie back down." Taehyung glared at Jungkook as the guy tried to stand up from his bed.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "I'm fine, hyung. Shouldn't you be with Chloe right now?"

"She's with her mom. And even if you're fine, you're just going to do it again." Taehyung spat.

"Do what?" Jungkook furrowed his brows in confusion.

Taehyung eyed him, "Go and do something ridiculous like raiding One's turf all alone like some suicide mission.

"Why would you think i'd do that again?" He innocently asked.

"Cause you like taking revenge for the people you love." Taehyung said.

Jungkook laughed sarcastically, "Me? Loves Lisa? Pffft! No way. You're weird, man. What a delusion."

Taehyung looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"What?" Jungkook eyed him back.

"I never said it was Lisa." Taehyung smirked.

Jungkook's face slowly flushed pink and immediately turned his back on Taehyung before he notices.

ON THE side of the building, Jennie held the unconscious Lisa on the hospital bed.

Bobby and the others were already there, standing guard for everyone.

Jisoo entered the room.

"Unnie." Jennie immediately stood up as soon as she saw Jisoo in her white lab coat.

"The test results were better than I expected. She got a 3rd degree burn on her thigh and it'll probably leave a scar. She'll heal in a month. But a full recovery will take for about six months, maximum." Jisoo said.

Jennie nodded at her, "Ok but why isn't she waking up yet?"

"She inhaled a bit of that thick smoke and almost had a respiratory failure. But as i've said, her results were great. It's as if her respiratory system is almost immune to toxic smokes. Has she been doing drugs?" Jisoo asked.

Jennie immediately recalled what Lisa had been through.

"Poor child." Jennie muttered.

Jisoo gave her a reassuring smile, "Don't worry. She's pretty much healthy. She'll wake up any minute. I promise."

As soon as Jisoo said those, they both heard a groan from the woman. Jennie gasped when she saw Lisa blinking and squinting her eyes, adjusting her vision.

"Where am I..." She muttered as she tried to sit.

"Relax, Lisa. You're in the hospital. You should stay in bed first." Jennie helped her lie back down.

Lisa looked around, "Where is Chloe? Is she okay?"

"Thanks to you and to Jungkook, she's in the nursery room with DK. Healthy and still very naughty." Jennie squeezed their hands together.

Lisa heaved a sigh of relief, "Thank God."

Bobby stood up from his seat and walked towards his boss.

"Sorry, boss. We were late." Bobby lowered his head.

"It's fine. As long as no one died." Lisa spat.

June stood up, "What happened back there, boss?"

Lisa sighed, "I was cleaning Chloe's milk bottle in the kitchen. Then I opened the refrigerator to get the milk. Turns out it was the trigger for the bomb placed inside. Fortunately, my reflexes were fast and only got my thigh a third degree burn."

"How did a bomb get inside tho? And a trap set up in the refrigerator? I made sure the security facilities inside and outside the mansion were in the best condition. I often check them just as you told me, boss." Chanwoo said.

Lisa poked her inner cheek with her tongue, "I dunno."

"But... I'm damn sure, one of you is playing Judas right now." Lisa continued then she slowly turned her eyes to Bobby.

"Right, Bobby?" Lisa tilted her head to the work person whom she trusted the most.

"Judas? What do you mean? A traitor?" Jennie seemed confused and started to panic.

Lisa rolled her eyes at Bobby and turned to Jennie, "Yeah. Someone inside this confinement room is selling information to One."

"W-Wouldn't that be Jungkook? Doesn't he hate you the most? And we barely even know him." Bobby stuttered.

"I know him enough. And that's impossible. Even if he hated me so much, he'd never go as far as bombing the mansion with Chloe in it." Lisa defended.

Bobby clenched his fist.

Lisa sighed, "Okay...fine."

"Whoever the traitor is, keep acting that way. The best way you can. Cause if I caught you, I'm going to hang your neck in a fucking tree myself." Lisa threatened, making everyone silent but quiver in fear.

Jennie, still confused, but worriedly held Lisa's hand to calm her down.

The door suddenly opened, "Wow, so quiet."

Taehyung entered the room, with Jungkook who is already in his casual clothes.

"Did we kill a vibe?" Jungkook peeked behind Taehyung.

Jennie gulped, "No. We were just—"

"I want to talk to Jungkook alone." Lisa said in a serious tone.

"Of course. Don't push yourself too much." Jennie smiled at her.

Lisa nodded and smiled back. Everyone finally left the room, leaving the two of them behind.

"So?" Jungkook shrugged his shoulders.

Lisa sat up and motioned Jungkook to come closer. Jungkook furrowed his brows but complied anyway. He walked closer.

Lisa glanced at the door and heard movements from outside.

"Closer." Lisa demanded.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, "I dunno if it showed in your tests, but i'm your sister's ex lover."

Lisa bit her lips, fighting the urge to shoot the guy who just saved her.

"And I'm Mingyu's ex wife so come closer or I'm cutting your tiny balls and feed them to my dogs." Lisa whisper-shouted.

"Geez, okay!" Jungkook surendered and sat on the side of the bed.

Jungkook's eyes widened when Lisa suddenly grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer to her face until their foreheads were touching.

"Bobby is selling information to One." Lisa said.

Jungkook's mouth gaped, "Of all people..."

Lisa's eyes slightly widened, "Y-You believe me?"

"Why not?" Jungkook furrowed his brows.

"Oh... Anyway, Bobby only uses that type of trap and bombing technique. That's how I found out." She explained.

"Why are you telling me tho? Shouldn't we tell everyone?" He asked.

Lisa shook her head, "Bobby is good at countermeasures. If we tell everyone right now, Jennie and Chloe will be in danger. Or it could be any of us. We can't involve anyone."

Jungkook eyed Lisa, slightly surprised at what she said. Because she was never considerate of any number of casualties when they first met and now, she suddenly wants everyone to be safe.

He was brought back to his senses when he felt Lisa's grip on his collar getting tighter.

"The only option is to get all the shit done, tonight." She said.

Jungkook's eyes widened, "Tonight? Didn't you say we can't involve anyone?"

"Yes, I said that." Lisa nodded.

"Then do we have other back ups?" He asked.

Lisa sighed, "It's only us two, Jeon Jungkook. You have to get me out of the hospital."

Jungkook stood up, "What?! No way! You're basically a disabled person!"

"Ssshh!" Lisa pulled him back down.

"Even if all my limbs are cut off, I can still eat a person alive with my mouth. Now's your chance to get me out. Everyone's outside so we can use the window and escape." Lisa retorted.

Jungkook face palmed himself, "You're crazy. I'm not getting you out in that state."

"You have to. For Eli!" Lisa spat back.

Jungkook sighed and was about to answer back when the door suddenly creaked open.

"How long are you guys going to talk? Chloe wants to see—"

Jungkook panicked. His movements were too sudden, surprising everyone when he suddenly leaned towards Lisa.

And kissed her.

Taehyung and Jennie's eyes widened, with DK's palm covering Chloe's eyes.

On the other hand, Lisa's eyes grew wider than ever. The warmth of Jungkook's lips are slowly sinking in her system.

"I guess they need more time. We should probably leve them alone for real." Jennie pulled everyone out and banged the door close.

Jungkook slowly pulled away. The humiliation and guilt were drawn on his whole face.

Lisa who is still frozen on her seat, blinked twice before she finally realized she can breath.

"I...I-I'm sorry." He stuttered.

Lisa blinked, "Well, things happen. They left us for good so I guess... your plan worked."

Jungkook face palmed himself in frustration and thought,

"I just did it to cover up our plan but why do I feel so fucking happy?"
