Lisa

"Her real name is Eli. Elisa."

The whole room became silent. Jungkook had his eyes fixed on One wide open.

I can only shut my eyes close in guilt.

Lalisa.

"Do you want me to tell you her tale too? It's pretty interesting." One chuckled, slightly poking Jungkook's wound using his knife.

"Stop it! Don't touch him!" I screamed.

As if someone up there heard me, one of his men barged in.

"Boss! Someone's wrecking havoc at the front gate! Seven of our watchdogs are down!" He announced.

"What?! How many are they?!" One furiously turned to the man.

The man gulped, "O-Only one, boss."

I furrowed my brows. Only one and he or she already brought down seven people? Just who in the world...

"Hey Eli." One suddenly walked towards me.

He leaned closer to my ear, "You love sending one man army. Are you underestimating me?"

I scoffed at him, "No one's afraid of you, One. We're all just putting up with a guy who is sick."

"Is that so? I'm glad you know I'm sick. So I can do this."

My breath hitched when i felt a cold metal piercing through my stomach.

Slowly and surely, One pushed every inch of the knife inside me. He made sure the tip reached whatever it was inside my belly.

I gasped for air but only blood came out.

"Lisa!" I heard Jungkook screaming.

His voice shouting my name over and over were clearer than my vision. It was becoming darker. I tried my best to keep my eyes open.

"Farewell, Eli." One whispered before pulling out the knife.

"Lisa!" Jungkook's voice continued to linger in my ears. But as soon as my vision went black, his voice slowly faded with it.

Is this the end? Am I dead?

Jungkook

"Lisa!" I kept calling out her name. We were the only people left in the room but we're both tied up on the wall.

I could only watch Lisa bleed from my spot. Her blood were spilling out and down on the floor. She wasn't budging at all.

Fuck.

I can't afford to lose you too, Lisa.

"Please. Open your eyes, baby." I pleaded, not caring if my cheeks were soaked with tears.

My silent sobs gave me a bit of pain down on my wound but that's nothing compared to watching the one you love dying in front of you.

While I'm uselessly doing nothing to save her.

Why did this happen? Of all the time. Of all the days. Why now? Why does it have to be so soon?

"Lisa... Don't leave me too."

Just as I was about to give everything up and let myself die there, the door was kicked open.

My eyes widened when I met eyes with the person who just came in.

"Jungkook! Thank God, you're alive!" Taehyung rushed towards me and got the chains off.

"Save Lisa." I kneeled on the ground when I tried to bear with the pain on my wound.

"Shit! She's not breathing!" Taehyung spat as soon as he reached Lisa.

I could barely stand up so I forced myself and crawled towards them.

"Save her! Do something!" I shouted and continued to crawl.

They were meters away from across the room so I can only watch Taehyung giving her CPR.

I finally reached them and I immediately intertwined my hands with her cold ones.

"Damn it." Taehyung cursed and gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. He proceeded to give her cpr again.

I took my shirt off and used it to cover up her wound. She lost a lot of blood already and her skin is starting to look pale.

"Come on, Lisa." Taehyung muttered.

As if it was a lightyear of giving her CPR, Taehyung gave her one last mouth to mouth resuscitation before proceeding to give her CPR for the last time.

I've also given up.

It's been over half an hour and she wouldn't even budge.

My tears already dried up. And her blood stopped spilling.

Taehyung pressed on her chest one last time before finally giving up.

He gasped for air, "Fuck..."

I could only lower my head and bury my face on the palm of my hands. I couldn't help but let out sobs.

I couldn't save Namjoon Hyung before. And now, history is repeating itself.

Is this a punishment?

Is this my fate?

Am I meant to be left alone?

If I'm only going to live alone and to suffer, then why do I have to get attached to people? Why does fate keep on giving me false hopes?

God.

If it's life you're taking, take mine instead.

"Kook..."

Me and Taehyung gasped, "Lisa?"

She coughed out some air, "It... hurts."

A huge sigh of relief immediately released from me. I nearly cried from seeing her conscious. It's as if the heaven opened up and showered me comfort.

"Thank God!" Taehyung clasped his hands.

"I thought you were gone." I caressed her face.

She smiled despite the pain, "Not now."

"That's my girl." I smiled back at her.

"There's no time for reunion. We have to get out of here before the police arrives." Taehyung butted in.

I nodded and forced myself to stand up. I took Lisa's right arm and Taehyung took the left.

We carried Lisa out of the house until I noticed, we were in a warehouse in the middle of a forest all this time.

"There they are! Don't let them escape!"

One suddenly went out of the penthouse and about five guys ran after us.

"Shit!" Taehyung cursed.

Despite the inner pain I'm feeling right now, I managed to run as we carried Lisa in our arms.

Until Taehyung crouched down, "Give her to me. We're slowing down."

I handed Lisa to him and helped him lift her up on his back.

"Let's go!"

And we started running towards the dark forest again. I don't even know where we are and where we're heading to.

But if this goes on, Lisa will lose more blood and I'll pass out from pain.

"Duck!" Taehyung grabbed my head and pushed me down on the grass.

A loud gunshot echoed in the forest.

I looked up and the five men we're running towards us while two of them where holding a gun.

"Take Lisa and run west. The car is right around that direction. I'll take care of these guys." Taehyung carefully handed Lisa to me.

"But hyung, I can't leave you alone." I grabbed his shirt.

He looked back and gave me a sly grin, "Been so long since you called me 'Hyung'. It's refreshing."

Before I could even stop him, he already ran towards the the five men and started fighting back.

I bit my lips and glanced at Lisa's state. She was sweating and her body is cold.

I clenched my fist, hating the thought of leaving Taehyung alone. But if I stay behind, i'll only be a burden.

So I forced myself to stand up and held Lisa in my arms.

I immediately ran towards the west side of the forest. I could only hear my heavy breathing and the weight of my footsteps as I run on the thick grass.

"Jungkook..." Lisa suddenly muttered. But I could only look down at her and continued running.

She suddenly reached for my face, "There's no..."

I couldn't hear what she was muttering. I'm also starting to get weaker but we haven't reached the car yet. The forest just keeps getting deeper and darker the further we go.

I took a little turn and we hid behind a big tree.

I started catching my breath and let Lisa rest on my lap while my arms supports her upper body.

"What were you saying?" I asked in between my pants.

She again reached for my face. I looked down at her and tears started forming around the corners of her eyes.

"There's... no baby. I'm not... Lalisa." Her weak voice were clear enough to make me understand.

I smiled at her, "I know. The baby is a lie. Jennie told me. And I'm sorry for acting like a dick."

"Whether you're Lalisa or not, I like you even better, Eli." I wiped her tears away.

She couldn't help but smile back at me, "Can I... hug you?"

I nodded, "Please do."

I helped her sit up and face me. We were both wincing in pain. We're even suffering pain on the same part of our bodies.

Engulfed her in a hug and burried my face on the crook of her neck. I inhaled every nook of her scent like it was the last.

She hugged me back with all strength left on her body. I can feel her lips brushing through my shoulders and her cold breath giving me comfort.

I shut my eyes close, "I love you."

She tightened the hug, "I love you t-"

Everything happened so fast when a loud gunshot was heard and Lisa's body flinched.

I opened my eyes when I felt a load of blood flowing down her back to my hands.

No.

I looked up and saw One behind Lisa laughing at us at a distance.

My breath hitched, "YOU FUCKER..."

My tears started streaming down when I felt Lisa's hands fell down from my back and her breathing became weaker.

I immediately pulled away from the hug and cupped Lisa's face. She was gasping for air, looking at me with tears in her eyes as if begging me to save her.

"No. No! Lisa! Look at me, baby!" I cupped her face but I couldn't do anything but sob.

She kept gasping for air.

Seeing her like this feels like death itself!

If I could bring back time!

If I'm stronger enough!

If I'm smarter enough!

I engulfed her back in my arm. I hugged her tighter and burried my sobs on her shoulders, crying out her name.

I'm an idiot. Useless pathetic idiot.

I didn't give One another glance as he kept laughing at us like the fucking psychotic shit that he is.

Until he landed another gunshot to Lisa, causing me to widen my eyes.

"NO!" I pulled away from her and she wasn't moving anymore.

Her eyes were still open and glistening with tears.

But she wasn't breathing anymore.

"LISA!" I cried her name out loud.

Until another gunshot was heard. My vision instantly turned black.
