James was just getting out of school when he saw a large group of people laughing . Then he heard a familiar voice come out of it that said a very horrible joke but some how made the crowd laugh. He walked up closer to hear more of what his friend was saying
"What its not like she try's to be lonely"
The voice said in a serious voice. The all laughed again thinking it was another joke. James pushed his way threw the crowd and saw in the middle was his best friend mike with a worried voice.
" he is being serious river needs a chance!" James yelled standing up tall
" if she wanted a chance then she would just ask for it! Right! Good joke mike and James" a kid from the crowd said "why would they even let a wolf into the high school anyways"
"Ok everyone out move it people River coming threw"
Every one ran off like River was gonna hurt them if not. The only ones that stayed where mike and James.
" I know I nice path we can walk down strait into the forest. We haven't gone before so we can mark it down on the map. It's right by "bee sting stream"
" that bee sting is still here! And that was like a week ago" Mike said pulling up his sleeve and showing a large pink sting. James looked up at River
          "how are you taking advantage of the fact that everyone is scared of you." He said taking mikes sleeve and pulling it back down.
          "Mike is the one that looks like a scary character. He could even be named scary. But me, it's simply funny. I love how at the sight of me they run! It's just so funny how they think I am gonna kill them. It sounds like a dark thing to say, but to them I'm dark. To you I'm.......less aggressive." She said pulling out a long blade from her bag.
        " Wha- RIVER where did you get that!" Scary- I mean Mike said backing away.
        " wow. With them it was funny but my best friend that's a bit harsh Mike. Also didn't I tell you. I'm taking classes in combat with hand weapons. I chose sword. Aren't you doing archery? And James your magic right?" She said slowly putting the sword back in and zipping the bag. Mike stepped up back where he was before and then James spoke up.
       "Of coarse I'm magic! I'm your brother. At least I don't have wolf ears" he whispered as quietly as possible to Mike. She pulled her sword back out and James.
     " HOW DID YOU HEAR ME" he yelled backing up several feet.
    "Oh just these stupid ears! And I can also pick up sent. Mike, this is why I don't go around people! Say you get lost yeah, I then find you sent and it leads me to Rose, Hugo, fern and more. You *points at james*  so. What happened to that cookie huh? Sneaky James!" River said in a matter of fact tone of voice. She put the sword back in the bag, closed it and started walking with Mike and James. Half the way to the trail A cat girl jumped out at them.
       " AH! Nekoanna has never seen a wolf person before! Tell me all- AH why is eyes red?" She said full of energy and excitement. She then jumped up and down looking at the three of them.
      "I, um i-  River was shocked yet cut of in her words by a girl across the street. She seamed Nekoanna's age and had orange pig tails
" NEKOANNA come on we are gonna be late if keep acting this way. Jody is expecting us is 10 minutes- ow! Watch it drake!" She was shives by an older guy with dark orange hair. He seamed to take no care what so ever and kept walking.
" SORRY AUTUMN SAMA gotta go bye!" She run threw the street making about 5 cars slam down on their brakes so they didn't hit her.
" that was a fun 10 minutes. Now let's go!
