Hermione's POV

I woke up to pain in my head and never regions. I groan holding my head. "Here" a voice says handing me a goblet. "Hangover potion" he states. I take it and my headache disappears. I sit up to see Charlie without a shirt on. Then notice I'm wearing his shirt and blush. "Thought you wouldn't want to wake up naked" he says with a shrug.

"I'm sorry about last night" I tell him as I ran a hand through my hair.

"Nothing to be sorry for, we were drunk and it was only one night" he tells me.

"Right, I mean it's not like it's going to happen again" I state.

"True, so I say we forget about it and go back to being normal friends" he suggests.

"Sounds good to me, can I have some privacy?" I ask him.

"Sure, I'll go check on breakfast" he states. I nod and he left the tent. I took out some clothes from my bag and go dressed. Then ran a brush through my hair. Before leaving the tent.

"So what's on the agenda today?" I ask him.

"Well I have to check on Norberta, but afterwards I can drop you off at the main building. From there you can find a hotel or something" he states.

"Trying to get rid of me?" I ask him.

"I thought you'd want to get back to your vacation" he states.

"I  like it here, besides we're friends. Why not stay? I'd like to see what you do here, it'd be educational" I tell him.

"Well I'd have to get approval from the higher ups and a mattress for you. But if you wanted to stay, I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed" he states. Running a hand through his hair.

"We can ask after we check on Norberta" I tell him. He nods his head. We start to eat breakfast.

"So was Ron you're first?" he asks and I nearly chock on my food.

"No" I cough.

"Really?" he asks curious.

"It was actually Viktor" I say sheepishly and he laughs.

"You seem to have a thing for quidditch players" he chuckles.

"I do not" I deny.

"Really? Viktor Krum, Ron and now me. Two seekers and a keeper" he states.

"Actually Ron and I never did it" I tell him absentmindedly and he looks shocked.

"You were together six years, how had you never done it?" he asks me shocked.

"We fooled around, made out. But he never wanted to go further, I think he bats for the other team. If you get what I mean?" I ask.

"He's gay?" he asks.

"I think so, but he won't admit it. Or hasn't figured it out yet" I state. "I mean can you think of another reason why he wouldn't want to have sex with me?" I ask him.

"Nope, I think a guy would have to be a fool or gay to not want to have sex with you. We already know Ron is an idiot" he states. I nod my head.

"Well it doesn't matter now, we're over and I won't be talking to him until he apologizes for what he told the press" I state.

"How long do you think it'll take for Kingsley to clear up the rumors?" he asks me.

"A week I suppose, but he's making me take a three week vacation" I tell him.

"You going to stay here that whole time?" he asks me.

"If I'm allowed" I tell him. "Though I should probably owl Harry, so he doesn't worry" I state.

"We have owls at the main building, you can use one of them" he tells me. I nod my head. We finish breakfast and I wash the cutlery. We then went to check on Norberta and see some of her eggs have hatched. We even got to watch one hatch. Only five out of the eight eggs hatched. Norberta tossed the others away.

"Why did she do that?" I ask Charlie.

"Either dead or unfertilized" he states. He summons them. "See this one is cracked, must of fallen out of the nest and embryo inside didn't survive" he explains showing me one of the eggs. "These two had no embryos and will be perfect for display" he states. Placing the other two in a padded bag. "Lets leave them alone" he tells me.

We return to his tent. He holds an arm out to me. "What?" I ask him.

"You don't know the location we are going to and I'd rather not have you splinch yourself" he states. I nod and link my arm with his. He apparates us to a building.

"Charlie, there you are!" a woman calls. "This must be your friend you mentioned in your patronus. Welcome to the Dragon Sanctuary" she tells me.

"Thank you, I'm Hermione" I tell her.

"Astrid" she says and we shake hands.

"Norberta's eggs hatched and I got two for the display case" Charlie tells her. Handing her the bag.

"Awesome" she says with a smile.

"I know we don't usually allow this, but Hermione is on vacation and is interested in what we do here. Think she could stay a few weeks?" Charlie asks her. She looks me up and down.

"You vouch of her?" she asks him.

"Yes" he says nodding his head.

"She'd be your responsibility, if she gets hurt it's on you" she states.

"I understand" he states.

"Welcome to the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary Hermione. Hope you enjoy your stay" she tells me. Before leaving us.

"Now what?" I ask Charlie.

"Well I have to fill in a report, then go pack up the camp site. Then have dragons to check on before lunch. Followed by more paper work after lunch" he explains. "Then I can give you a tour of the main building afterwards" he states.

"Sounds good to me, lead the way" I tell him and he smiles. Holding out his arm. I roll my eyes and link  mine through it. Who knew gentlemen still existed?
