back story

rachel berry had been at a music store in westerville when sebastian smythe had turned up they started arguing over set lists for regionals when suddenly everything changed. the music store was struck by lightening which smashed the windows both rachel and sebastian got hit by the lightening.

both ended up in a coma for nine months its now ten months since it happened both rachel and sebastian are now out of their coma's and are recovering.

sebastian

sebastian was at the grocery store he had been insanely hungry since he woke up from his coma after picking up several snacks he is heading back to his car. only has he is walking the bag the groceries are in starts to tear so sebastian sets of quicker to to his car only then next thing he knew he was at his car with no clue how he reached it to quickly. his whole body was buzzing like electricity was following in his veins.

meanwhile

rachel

rachel was at home in the garden sat at the table trying to catch up on the school work she had missed when she realised she had left a textbook she needed in her room then she suddenly felt funny and closed her eyes only when he opened them she was stood in her room.

" how did i get here" she said out loud.

she walked over to her desk got the textbook she had forgotton holding it tightly to her chest she closed her eyes and thought garden opened her eyes and she was stood by the garden table. rachel placed the book on the table and pinched herself wondering if this was all a very lifelike dream.

"rachel honey dr wells said not to over do it why dont you give studying a rest for today" her dad leroy said walking over to her carrying a tray with her lunch.

" yeah i think i will" rachel said wondering what on earth was happening to her she wondered if she should tell him but she knows how worried they have been especially when she was in her coma and decides not to tell him.

" im waiting for a call regarding work are you ok on your own for a while sweetheart " he said as she sat down.

" yes daddy im fine" rachel said

leroy headed into the house and rachel reached for the jug of fresh orange juice and poured herself a glass before placing the jug back and picking up a sandwich she had had a crazy appetite since waking from her coma.

she told herself she had imagined what had happened because she simply couldnt make sense of it there was no logical explanation for it. as her mind once again tried to understand it she accidentally knicked her glass over and as she put her hand out to grab it the glass stopped falling and was suspended in mid air. rachel stared at it in disbelief she reached for the glass and was able to grab it and place it back on the table. she then spent several minutes looking back and forth between her hands and the glass.

meanwhile

sebastian

sebastian was now back home his mom was doing what she did best and was fussing over him as he sat on the couch eating a box of chocolates she was making him spinach and ricotta ravioli as it was his fravorite. his mind was still thinking back to that moment in the parking lot of the grocery store hiw had he gotton to his car so quick. had he had a memory laspe due to the lightening but why would it happen now dr wells had run test after test on him and said he was completely healed it was just him niw trying to get his head around been struck by lightening that he was dealing with.

" you ok sweetie" his mom said carrying his lunch over sebastian popped one last chocolate into his mouth before putting the box down.

" yeah" sebastian said

" seb" she said concerned his mom always knew when he wasnt telling the thruth.

" something happened today" sebastian asked

" what happened " she asked  softly sitting down next to him.

" as i was heading to my car at the grocery store the bag i was carrying started to split and i thoight i need to get to my car before it completely split open. as soon as i thought tbat i was at my car but before i thought it i was two rows of cars away from it. mom i dont remember how i got to my car i dont know if something happened or i forgot walking to it. when i was at my car my whole body was buzzing like i had electricity pumping through me i kniw it sounds crazy" sebastian said

" im calling dr wells and your dad" she said

" is there something wrong with me" sebastian asked he saw the concern on his moms face she reached towards him and stroked his cheek.

" you have been through an extraordinary thing seb there will be bumps in the road to recovery you have done so well. dr wells saved your life and rachels im sure he will figure out what happened sweetie and he will help you" she said
