Once we get to Leah's house, practically tackled us to the floor as we stepped through the door. "Hi Saydie and Teagan! Where's your brother?" I ask even though I'm pretty sure he's upstairs in his bedroom playing video games.

"He's playing video games." Teagan pipes up, confirming my suspicions.

"I wanted to tell her!" Saydie whines at her sister, and the twin fighting begins.

"Charlie and I are going up to my room for a little bit before the pizza gets here, give us ten minutes alone" Leah quickly says to the twins and we run upstairs before they can realize what's going on.

"Spill," Leah demands as soon as I set my bag down and she shuts the door. I immediately know she's talking about the latest addition to my dad's list of guys allowed to date me.

It started out as him making sure the guys were good enough, then if by some possibility they asked me out, I was allowed to say yes or no. Over the years, the use of his list has changed.

Now, if a guy on the list asks me out, I have to say yes. Normally, the day after my dad adds a guy to the list, news gets out and the guy asks me on a date. If I come home in tears after the first date, that guy is immediately off the list. I usually come home in forced tears if I have anything whatsoever against the guy. Another rule to this list thing is that if a guy not on the list asks me out and he's not on the list, I have to straight out say no. If they aren't on the list, I can for no reason go out with them.

I decide to let her have suspence for a minute before I finally say, "it's Trystan Johnson this time" I just shrug nonchalantly and she shrieks.

"Your dad put Trystan on the list!" She yells in my ear, I jump back and try to recover from the sudden noise in my ear as she bounces on the bed.

"Yes, he did." I verify just as Saydie and Teagan burst through the door.

"Pizza's here!" They yell happily and run down the stairs, Leah and I share a glance before heading down the stairs after them.
