you
When I entered the pub I never would have guessed I'd make many new friends, get the love of their mum, accidentally out myself, meet the 'boy who lived', and end up getting invited to stay at their house when Molly, as she insisted I call her, found out I've been roughing it the last few days (I say days it's been quite a bit longer than that, but Molly doesn't need to know that)
I guess I better explain most of the interesting things that have happened today
After I'd been talking with Ron, Harry and Hermione for a while the twins joined the conversation about classes and teachers. Throwing in their two sense about who was crap and who rocked. Eventually it became a bit of an argument on who the teachers hated most. Personally I think it'd be Fred and George having met them and everything, but the trio did give them a run for their money with all the bull I've heard so far and I'm sure there's plenty more.
They made sure to include me and got my thoughts on their pranks and adventures once I told then about one of my own pranks, apparently releasing a solid hundred and two light blue (gotta have school spirit) rats into the headmistress' office, I of course charmed so they couldn't be accioed (it took me ages to find the spell). And in doing that results in the twins respect.
After ages of exchanging prank stories and ideas with the twins, the trio and the twins and I separated conversations. In the middle of the twins telling me about one of their favourite pranks on some kid named 'Draco' or ferret as they dubbed him Bill called me over, seeing as I hadn't talked to him before I told the twins we'd talk more later and directed my attention to Bill
"So Abellone what school do you go to?" Bill asked politely.
"I've gone to quite a few schools over the years but for seventh year... uh I don't actually know where I'm supposed to be going..." I trailed off uncertain at the end of my statement but luckily Bill just ignored my extreme awkwardness.
"What schools have you gone to then? I've only ever gone to Hogwarts." The redhead asked politely.
"For a while I went to a school in France called Beauxbatons, honestly I hated it there... It was very formal and not hands on at all which doesn't really work for me, but got expelled during my third year. Then I went to La Casa de Hechizo, It's a small and in my opinion amazing school in Spain but during this summer my mom pulled me out." I explained.
"What was it like at uh.. La Casa de Hechizo?" He questioned seeming interested in the lovely school I wish I still attended
"Well it was fairly small but the teachers were all pretty great and I got along with most of the students very well, they also have one of the best muggle related courses in the world because you had the option to take muggle classes like maths, english, social, and sciences so not only would you have an understanding of the muggle world but also if you wanted to live as one you could."
"Do you also get to learn about muggle devices?" Bill asked seemingly excited though I'm not sure why
"Like their technologies and stuff yah the basics but I left before they taught us anything to cool."
"Well just to warn you my dad has a hugggeeee fascination with all things muggle so be prepared for some interesting questions if he finds out" Bill said his voice lowering to nearly a whisper.
"Tea dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked me as she poured Bill a cup.
"Oh, yes please." I grin towards the kind lady.
"I just wanted to thank you again dear for helping out Ron here after his brothers so carelessly left him." she thanked me again the last biting bit clearly directed to the twins.
"Just doing what I'd hope others would do for me, no need to thank me Mrs. Weasley" I smile
"Oh none of that Mrs.Weasley now call me Molly dear."
"Oh are you sure Mrs... Uh Molly?"
"Yes dear now eat up you look ever so thin" She reassures kindly as she gestures to all the food I had not even noticed.
The fact that people as nice as Mrs. Weasley exist just makes me so happy, like who just invites a girl off the streets to eat supper with their family not making them pay a knut or anything of the sort. And they'd made me feel so welcome and a lot happier than I have in quite a while.
Soon my plate is laden with delicious looking food and everyone begins to dig in quite chatter throughout the large gathering.
