(I forgot everyone of the detectives except the chief and L, so I'm going to use detective #1 #2 #3, because I'm a failure. L might e a little out of character)

L's team has just put light and misa in confinement.
"L we still haven't not gotten results from confining either of the suspects" #1
"I know, but misa's acting differently, she almost denied having a relationship with light, but now she says straight forward that light's her boyfriend." L says.
"L, I've came to a conclusion that she has forgotten almost everything that's happened that has any relatement between her and kira, besides what happened to her parent's killer" you say.
"I agree with that statement y/n, but why would she forget now?" L says.
"Hmm, maybe she has some sort of problem" #2
"I checked her medical files there's nothing to do with memory loss of any kind" you say" but she might've had some type of drug before we confined her"
"I doubt she could've been drugged, but maybe she's playing some kind of angle" L says.
"But L, what would she be trying to do by working this angle?" You question.
Silence
"Misa could be trying to get us to let her go, or..." L says.
"to make us give her some other form of freedom for her and light" you say.
"Yes to continue the killings they both must be free!" #3
"If that were the case why would she think that were that gullible?" You and L say in unison.
You blush.
(Dammit y/n hold yourself together you only talked at the same time, nothing to blush for)
"You look red, do you have a fever y/n?" L asks breaking your thoughts.
"N-no sir, i feel fine"
You blush deepens to a more crimson red.
(Come on stop blushing y/n, he only asked if you were fine. You need to hold it together)
"You don't look fine I suggest you go home" L says.

Timeskip to your place.

You decided to take a shower so you could think before you go to bed. *because apparently you think best when your in the shower*

You just couldn't stand it.
You've developed a crush on L when you became one of the most trusted detectives on the kira case.
You tried your best to show how brilliant you were so you could get his attention.
But it hasn't worked yet.
You now know what it is you need to do to get his attention.
(I need to became the one that solves the kira case, then maybe he'll finally notice that your trying to get his attention.) You say to yourself.

You get out of the shower and put on your f/c tank top and your 2nd f/c shorts.
And your h/l h/c hair is still shiny from the shower. You looked at your bedroom clock and saw it was 10:30.
Since you felt hungry you decided to get yourself a snack from the fridge.
You decided to get yourself your favorite cake.

Ding dong.

"Who would be here this late at night?" You wonder.

"Oh hello L, please come in"
He walks in.
"Would you like a piece of , your favorite cake, because I have plenty.?" You ask. Questioning to yourself of why he's here.
"Yes I would like the cake"
You get the cake and give it to him.
"So why are you here L?"
"Well I wanted to tell you that if I die in a few days that you have to suspect kira, also that you would be the new detective to take over the case if something was pointing to light not being kira. Which is highly doubtful."
You started to cry you couldn't risk losing L.
" y/n why are you crying?"
"Because I dont want to l-l-loose y-you L"You curl up on your couch waiting for a reaction.
Silence.
You look up only to get pulled into a warm hug.
"L?"
"The truth is I don't want to lose you either y/n"
He kisses you licking your bottom lip for entrance which you gladly except.
He starts exploring your mouth claiming it for himself.
Then you finally have to break the kiss for air.
"I love you y/n"
"I love you to L"

"Well I guess I should leave now,
see you tomorrow y/n, let's do that again sometime!"
"Ok bye then"
That night you slept peacefully
Knowing that you no longer had to try for attention, because you got what you needed, and that was L.

I know horrible.
