RP: Fire Dragons vs Ice Dragons

Appearance: A Chinese Dragon the size of a mountain. Its many eyes are protected by a crystalline substance, and the scales themselves are a hardened crystal. Long whiskers, two pairs of regal horns. Feather-like filaments on top part of the monster, with long tufts on elbows, ankle, lower jaw and tip of tail. These filaments do not just hang off the part they are attached, but wave around like a flame. Huge jagged teeth, enormous claws. Very, very long.

Abilities: Telekinesis. Can change colours and become undetectable. Multiple eyes (two on head, rest on body) means it can see everything in its area. Can fly through the air (despite lacking wings). Can breathe dark energy.

Backstory: Lived with mother, father, and siblings. Both dragons and humans living in Hu'rath were terrified of them. However, parents were young, and because of this, weak, as the scales of this species only become crystal-like when they grow older. A monster of a different species killed the father, dragons killed the mother, and the siblings were killed by humans- our monster was the only survivor. When he grew up a bit, he attacked and destroyed Hu'rath in a fit of revenge, killing many and forcing the town to rebuild. He left to the crystal caves, where his food (crystals) are plentiful. Thousands of years later, he matures into the size of a mountain, and enjoys solitude- until some ice dragons and humans decide to settle down in his territory. Having become more calm with age (though still holding a grudge against humans, dragons, and monsters), he leaves in the hopes that they won't notice him. 

The story so far: 

Chapter 1: Not present

Chapter 2: Not present

Chapter 3: The monster's presence can be felt by those near him. He has an experience with Ghost and Alex (more detail in Ghost (part 2)), though leaves when humans near the camp become agitated by his presence. He leaves to the forest/hills, where crystals are much harder to come across.

Ghost visits him, bringing a giant crystal with her. He remains critical of her, finding her odd and somewhat annoying, but accepts her crystal anyway. As she leaves, he notices Alex, and decides to keep an eye on the human. After a while, he reveals himself and understands the human is searching for something. After the two find a way to communicate through pictures (the monster uses his scales, the human draws in the snow), the monster grabs Alex and takes him to Hu'rath, where Alex's fire dragon Pangaea is situated. Once the gates open, the monster returns to the forest, as he has a burning dislike of that particular town.

Ghost arrives in the next morning, bringing crystals, though the monster can tell that she is feeling down. He attempts to cheer her up by making some smaller crystals circle around her (using his telekinesis), though she remains sad and starts talking. While he can't understand her words, he feels an intense melancholy, and even fear, as she speaks to him. When Ghost finishes, she leaves to continue on her journey.

Chapter 4: At some point he goes to Ghost's lone cave and resides there for a bit.

Chapter 5: When Molten and Ghost are in danger of being attacked by infected, he grabs them both and flies away. He manages to save Molten's life, and follows Battery (a hospitable storm dragon) to the forest, where he meets Spirit and leaves after a while. He is gone for a bit, but then, he senses something- other monsters. One in the forest, where he had left Ghost and Molten. He begins to fly there, fuelled by a wish to protect the dragons he knew, and the grudge he holds against other monsters.
