Yet another character for that Fire Dragons vs Ice Dragons Roleplay! (now renamed to Broken Skies).

Name: Spirit

Age: Unknown, probably over 500

Gender: Female

Species: Nature dragon

Appearance: A large dragon whose colours are a combination of greens and browns. She is quite slim and wiry, with moss growing on parts of her body, giving her a fluffy appearance. Thin horns, very pale blue eyes with no pupils.

Personality: She is a calm and neutral force who takes care of life in her forest, but will also take it away when the time comes. She is quite mysterious and reclusive, wishing to keep the balance of nature as it is. She only becomes aggressive when nature is threatened by a large, dangerous force- but this is very rare.

Backstory: After showing much care for the forest as a youngster, she was blessed (maybe by the oracle?) to live a very long life and act as a neutral force protecting the forests. She is not very fond of humans and considers them unnatural, and may or may not be on the verge of attacking them for their way of life.

Abilities: Can heal others, extended longevity, communicate with all forms of life, does not speak but uses telepathy to reveal her thoughts to others, may appear to others during their birth/death, can grow plants

Other: She's inspired by the Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke

Chapter 5: She watches Ella kill a Forest Dragon called Garion. Jade, apparent friend of Garion, is upset and somewhat annoyed when Spirit walks over to their wounded selves only to stare without helping. She then finds Jade in a fight with Ella (joined by Storm Dragon Battery), after Battery had destroyed some trees, and thus disturbed Spirit. After staring and not interfering in the fight, Spirit returns to her home.

After Molten and Ghost come to rest, Spirit approaches out of curiosity as she has never seen a fire or ice dragon. When they run off into the temple (and stuff happens detailed in Ghost's story summary), Spirit ends up introducing her name to them telepathically, being the first time she has communicated with  dragon(s) in the story so far. After some shenanigans, she goes to the Glowing river (home of storm dragons) and interacts with the fish in the water. However, a giant monster sends cracks through the ground and rises up. Spirit tries to stop it with her vines, but then, she realises part of the forest is growing on its back. She attempts to communicate with it, and realises it has risen to avenge the forest (it was already on edge from human activity, and the fire dragons in the forest were the last straw). Spirit flies onto a tree on its back, telling it that she sympathises with it and that she understands they are more similar than she thought. She likes the monster and remains on its back when it attacks the fire dragons- but quickly flies off when she realises that the Crystal Monster is on its way to attack.
