Rift Of The Gods
NORTH
Desire: To find identity, autonomy, and freedom from the oppressive shadow of her neglectful parents. North wants to be more than just "The Kid" and seeks a path that defines who she truly is.
Fear: That she is truly insignificant, unwanted, and that breaking away from her family will lead her into an even darker, unknown world where she remains invisible. She fears being trapped in the same cycle of neglect, whether by others or by fate.
Misbelief: She believes that because her parents never acknowledged her, she is unworthy of recognition or importance. This makes her reluctant to trust others, even when they show signs of valuing her.
JAYLEN
Desire: To escape the weight of his past life and disability, and to prove his worth despite feeling different. He seeks to understand his purpose and reclaim his strength, particularly from his connection to the goddess Ixchel.
Fear: That his blindness defines him as weak and cursed, and that he'll always be haunted by the trauma of Pompeii. He fears never truly escaping the limitations of his physical and emotional scars.
Misbelief: Jaylen believes that his blindness is a punishment or an obstacle, preventing him from living up to the expectations of being a leader or praetor. This belief keeps him from recognizing the deeper power within himself.
