Leah was found on the streets by Liv after being the center culprit of a massive media hack when she was 7. This prompted Liv to take her under her wing, and after developing a maternal bond with Leah, Liv eventually wound up adopting her.
Now Miss. Leah Amara, Leah was accepted into SFIT's entertainment technology program and quickly became friends with Hiro, who introduced her to Baymax and the team.
When Leah found out about her mother's experiments, she was devastated. She tried to stop her, but it was too late. After creating Di, Liv fell into her coma, and Leah fell into hysterics. She always wanted to expose Di and her darker methods, but knew no one would believe her. Any testing and Di's DNA would always come up as Liv's. Leah ran away before Liv could meet her, and she's been in hiding ever since.
