Salazar Slytherin, one of the Four Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Slytherin Family drove him off home when they realised that he hadn't shown any signs of magic even after he turned seven. For two years he suffered in the Muggle society (after he was driven off home, he began to show signs of magic and Muggles started to hate him for it). 

Adira was already married when he was driven off home so she hadn't known about it immediately, and when she knew, it was already too late, as Salzar was nowhere to be found. She searched for him for two years before she found him and adopted him as her son.

After Adira's warning, he took Adrian Nyx (Adira's biological son) and the last pair of Silver Phoenix eggs and fled to Britain.
