Backstory: Metal is "the last of his kind" though other sources say other's like him have been sighted hiding in caves.

Metal grew up in a war torn village that was under constant attack by the Titans but the Titans soon destroyed the village and Metal was sent to military school in Atlantis before Tristan and his friends came to Atlantis.

Metal enlisted to be a soldier but when one of the professor's creatures escaped he realized he could do so much more so he set out to start a life of monster slaying and bounty hunting.

Other: metal carries a staff with him that has magical powers, he uses it when things get too hairy.
