Me:*looks back to the past*

Young me:*running and playing in my granny's house*

Granny: careful now little one don't hurt yourself.

Older me:*stands beside granny's sick bed, crying*

Granny: be strong little one this is going to happen while you grow up.

Brother:*becomes severely autistic*

Years later

Me:*upset about the choices my aunt and uncle and cousin, on my dad's side of the family, are making*

Dad: people will make bad choices son but right now you are in control.

Me: I'm never going to do what their doing dad.

Dad: that's my boy.

Age 15

Cousin :*gets arrest for drug possession*

Grandfather:*on mom's side of the family, starts suffering from the disease that will later kill him*

Aunt :*on dad's side of family, adopts her niece's baby*

Me:*struggling to keep my grades up*

Age 16

Great grandfather:*passes away*

Me: I love you grand Daddy, I always will

Cousin :*released from jail and gets clean*

Age 17

Grandfather:*passes away*

Cousin:*loses her baby*

Me:*throws everything off of table in my bedroom and throws the small table out the window*

Mom: Tristan what's wrong?!

Me:*crying* everything!!

Mom: everything will get better soon, I promise.

Now

Me:*looks at the cut on my thumb which was an accident* your right mom everything will get better, no matter how bad it gets.

Hey everyone, I don't know what possessed me to write this but I just want you to know from my experience that if your going through a rough patch or a bad time in your life, you will see the light at the end.

My problems are still going but one day they'll all go away, just like yours will.
