Tristan was rushing to the down town area with an armed escort of soldiers and cops, Tristan's heart was pounding in his ears. There was a report that a group of thugs had started a firefight after a hostage situation went south.

Cody and Joe were already on the scene trying to negotiate with the thugs but the men wouldn't listen.

A young officer of the law sees a sniper on the roof of a small market building and leaps into the man's line of fire, both men fired and both shots hit their marks. The officer hit the ground in a pool of blood as the sniper falls off the roof.

"JORDAN!!!" Tristan yelled when he sees the young man go down. "Officer down!" The chief shouts. The police had no choice but to open fire on the men.

Tristan ran to Jordan basically putting himself in danger and crouches next to him. "Stay with me." He says. Jordan slowly opens his eyes, his eyes slowly shifted to the captain.

"Tristan." He says quietly. "Yes, I'm here Jordan, it's me." Tristan says as tears stream down his face. Everything around them slowed to a crawl.

Jordan slowly grabs the man's hand. "Tell Daisy and the kids that I love them." Jordan says quietly. "Don't--Don't talk like that." Tristan says chocking back sobs.

Jordan gives a small smile and very peacefully closes his eyes as the ambulance pulls up. "Jor-Jordan! Stay with me please!" Tristan shouts.

The paramedics rush up to them and quickly place Jordan on a stretcher. Tristan pushes past the crowd to get to a military authorized vehicle and follows the ambulance to the hospital.

Tristan got out and rushes inside as the nurses and doctors try to keep the young man alive. Tristan tried to run to his side but the security guards kept him from doing so. "Hang in there Jordan! I love you little brother!" He shouts as tears flow down his cheeks.

Tristan paced around the lobby as everyone else sat around watching him. Sam finally got up and swam to him and puts her hands on his shoulders.

"Tristan it's going to be alright." She says to him. Tristan sniffs loudly and looks into her eyes. "Look me in the eyes and tell me that." He said.

She opens her mouth but no words came out. Tristan who was always cool under pressure and a stubborn man was now crying like a baby as he hugs the brown haired mermaid.

The chief of surgery walked into the lobby and shakes his head no which makes the captain only cry harder.

Cody puts his hand on Tristan's shoulder, Joe salutes out of respect, Pikalus had his hand on his face, Selina hugs the captain and assures him that everything will be ok while Tristen the demon says a little prayer in his native language.

The chief of surgery puts Jordan's badge into Tristan's hand. "Your brother is in heaven now." He says and walks back to his office.

Tristan looks at the badge and curls his fingers around it. "I love you bro." He says quietly.
