Bio:

Much of Sage's childhood and early teen years remain a mystery to her as she can no longer remember them. But she was born at Xavier's School for the Gifted to Ororo Monroe and Stephen Strange in 1986 and named Taitu Munroe-Strange.

As a child, Sage was adventurous and rebellious, often running around the school grounds.

When she was eight years old, Sage snuck passed a fenced-off area on the ground of the school whilst playing hide and seek with her mother.

She stumbled and fell through the unsafe ground of an old well and plummeted down to rubble at the base.

Laying at the bottom of the well, mortally wounded and dying, Sage was found by a fragment of the Aether which wrapped it's way around her wrist, seeping into her body, binding with her genetic makeup and healing her.

Somehow, Sage was transported away from Xavier's school and reappeared in a daisy field.

Alerted to the swell in power, the Ancient One discovered an unconscious Sage and returned to Kamar-Taj with the young girl, where she didn't try as hard as she made Sage believe to find her parents. With no memories, Sage had to readjust to life, including choosing a name for herself. Having grown fond of working in the herb garden, Sage choose to call herself after the sage plant, because of how pretty she found the flower.

At some point whilst at Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One exposed Sage to the Time Stone, giving her extra abilities. Sage recalls this as being rather traumatic and painful compared to her experience with the Aether, which had chosen to interact with her to save her rather than forced upon her in experimentation.

In her early 20s, Sage finally left Kamar-Taj, despite much argument from the Ancient One. Sage ended up in New York where she has a small apartment and a job as a waitress. She keeps her powers to herself and is living a relatively normal life. Something she's wanted for as long as she can remember.

Sage is a quiet girl living a very sheltered life. However, the extreme levels of restriction that have been placed upon her, has caused her to be hot-tempered, a bad combination with her level of power, to which she developed a superiority complex. Sage seems to be used to getting her way, and when things go awry she is short-tempered.

The Ancient One has said that Sage has anger and authority issues.

Sage has exhibited an independent, tenacious, rebellious streak, as she fled from the Ancient Ones many times as a teenager not understanding the need for her to remain isolated because of her powers and her lack of control.

She has a very stoic personality, keeping a calm, difficult to read, expression at near all times.

Sage seemingly has a degree of morality, she does not like to see another person suffering, especially a child.

At her core, Sage is an idealist and truly cares about helping others and doing what she believes is right.

Powers and Abilities:

Powers:

Like her mother, Sage possesses the psionic ability to control natural forces that include storms, solar wind, ocean currents, and electromagnetic energy.

Atmokinesis: Like her mother, Sage has demonstrated a plethora of abilities, most of which are facets of her power to sense and manipulate the weather. She is able to manipulate and control the weather through her psionic connection to air currents, water vapor, and natural electrical energy on both large and small scales. Sage possesses the psionic ability to control all forms of weather over vast areas. She can modify the temperature of the environment, control all forms of precipitation, humidity, and moisture, generate lightning and other electromagnetic atmospheric phenomena, and has demonstrated excellent control over atmospheric pressure. While in outer space, she is able to affect and manipulate the interstellar and intergalactic mediums. She can also detect the flow of kinetic, thermal, and electromagnetic energy behind weather phenomena and can bend this energy to her will.

Electrokinesis: Sage has the power to summon lightning bolts from the sky that can be used to blind, stun, or severely burn her opponents even to the point of death. She can even tap into the Earth's electromagnetic field and send out a powerful electromagnetic pulse.

Earth Link: Like her mother Storm, Sage's powers have created a psychic bond between herself and the primal life force of Earth's biosphere. This bond with the Earth and apparently the entire universe, gives her the ability to sense and detect life-forces. She can also sense any natural phenomena including earthquakes, storms, etc.

Subjective Precognition: Sage has the power to see into the future, it is believed that her connection to the Earth allowed her to view potential futures. The premonitions she experienced were intensified after her exposure to the Time Stone, and she uses them to her advantage in order to keep herself safe. It mainly works by her focusing on a certain object or person and keeping track of its decisions. She can also focus on several objects at the same time, up to the limit her mind allows.

Before her experiences with the Time Stone, she only received visions at certain times while at most times, she felt the predictions.

The vision shows up after someone's decision, that probably means that her power is working all the time like a system alarm, no matter the distance of the target.

However, Sage's foresight has many limitations: she can only see the outcome of someone's decision once it is made - meaning the future can change all too quickly; and if the decision is not firmly rooted, she can see several possible futures at the same time. Also, her vision can be clouded if someone else's decision is involved.

Energy Vision: With enough concentration, Sage can see the physical world around her as energy, including the human body's nervous system. This ability also enables her to see in almost complete darkness.

Healing/Resurrection: Sage's possesses the ability to rapidly heal others from any physical injury, such as when she was able to resurrect a dead deer and heal its wounds without even trying to.

Magical Potential: Sage's ancestry supports the use of magic and witchcraft. Many of her ancestors were sorceresses and priestesses.

After exposure to the Reality Stone/Aether, and then the Time Stone, Sage gained a number of abilities.

Reality Manipulation: After being exposed to the Aether, Sage gained the ability to warp reality. She accomplishes this by manipulating molecular polarity, allowing her numerous other capabilities. Sage's reality warping abilities began initially on a small scale, however, as time progressed, her powers have grown exponentially.

- Conjuration: With a snap of her fingers, Sage is able to conjure anything she wants and can think of. Whether clothing, food, furniture, weapons etc.

- Transmutation: Sage can transmute nearly anything she wants, such as changing the color of her clothing, turning something inanimate into something animate, she can bring pictures to life. Sage can transform, alter or transmute matter, energy, elements, objects, beings (animals, aliens, mythical beings, etc.), etc into anything else, either completely or partially, permanently or temporarily. She once turned a Government drone in to a flock of doves to protect Kamar-Taj.

Time Manipulation:

- Teleportation: After being exposed to the Time Stone, Sage gained the ability to teleport both short and long distances. Despite being able to travel at will, multiple travels within a short time exhausted Sage frequently, and the Ancient One noted that "even you [Sage] have limits". In addition to teleporting herself, she is also able to take other people with her when she teleports. She is also able to teleport objects without physical contact. This is usually accompanied by a flash/spark of lightning.

- Chronokinesis: Sage can travel through time. Sage, however, had not mastered this ability, and the first time he used it, she accidentally travelled to 2023 and witnessed the Battle of Earth before she teleported back to her original location. She has yet to attempt to time travel since, becoming rather scared of getting stuck anywhere.

- Time Manipulation: Sage once reverted a whole chicken into its egg form and back again.

- Temporal Healing: Sage can heal by rewinding her timeline to erase the damages from existence. She can regenerate fully destroyed limbs or body parts.

Trivia:

- Sage used to play the piano and enjoys listening to classical music such as Bach, Puccini, and Mozart.

- The Ancient One saw Sage as a fighter and took her. This led to her becoming the overprotective "mother figure" in Sage's life.

- Sage has a deep red line that runs around her right wrist from where the Aether touched her.
