Bio:

Rieka Emrys Winchester-Lockwood (b. February 14th, 1991) is a werewolf-Witch hybrid, former hunter as well as a legacy member of the Men of Letters.

She is a member of the Lockwood and the Winchester families. Through her father, Rieka is the older half-sister of Tyler Lockwood.

Rieka is one of a number of witches in the Winchester line, seemingly coming with firstborn daughters, as seen with her mother. Through this magical bloodline, Rieka is the descendant of one of the most powerful witches ever known, Merlyn.

Rieka was raised in the hunting life by her uncle, John Winchester, after her mother was killed by hunters for being a witch, despite her mother being a peaceful and deeply compassionate woman.

When Rieka was 15, she and Dean snuck out to hunt a werewolf without their father; both bullheaded and cocky believing that they were ready. But Rieka was jumped and bitten before Dean could kill it. He carried her all the way back to the motel where John had yelled at him. John patched her up as best he could, before he offered her a choice; leave or die. Despite Dean's arguments, Rieka choose to leave. John told her it would have been more of a mercy to kill her, believing that somewhere down the road someone would have too.

This bite didn't turn Rieka into a werewolf, instead it activated the gene already inside of her. Making her the only pure breed werewolf to be activated this way and not the usual way. Rieka didn't have to take human life to become her werewolf self.

Dean at least walked with her to the bus station. He told her to call him; she responded that she wouldn't; that what they had would end the second she got on a bus. That it was for the best that they cut all ties. She was now the monster. She couldn't afford attachments. So she gave him her cell phone and told him goodbye.

Dean hugged his sister one last time and watched her get on a bus, not knowing if he would ever see her again.

Rieka tracked her biological father to Mystic Falls. Richard was seemingly unaware of her existence and asked her to prove that she is in fact his daughter. She agreed, it wasn't an unreasonable request and took a paternity DNA test which proved she was his daughter.

Carol was reluctant to allow Rieka to stay with them, but understood that it wasn't Rieka's fault that Richard cheated on her with Anita. Richard and Carol offered her a place in their home. Which Rieka took up for six months. After which she moved into a cabin in the woods. Here, she taught herself all the basics of necessity. Hunting, skinning, cooking, lumbering. Living off of the land whilst working at the Grill to make up any costs. Richard isn't thrilled about this, but lets her as he feels he has no right to tell her what to do.

Due to never graduating from high school and having a very sporadic education, Richard asked Rieka if she wished to try and complete the final two years to give herself a chance at a future. Whilst sceptical at first, not really believing she has a future, she agreed.

Personality:

"You know, it's kind of hard to trust someone when you don't know who that someone really is."

"Yeah. Who do you want me to be? "

For the most part, Rieka is a level-headed, strong-willed and independent woman. She normally maintains a controlled, almost emotionless persona to keep whatever she is thinking a secret unless she is around people she absolutely trusts.

Although she is more than willing to rush into deadly battle, she is not completely fearless.

Rieka made a choice not to let people close to her; both for their protection and for her own. But before this she was known to have a sarcastic sense of humor, which mostly surfaced when she was with Dean.

Deep down Rieka is very smart and very loyal.

While tough and at times ruthless, she is still a good person and can be quite heroic in her own right.

Just like Dean, Rieka is an avid fan of classic rock music.

Rieka typically avoids emotional intimacy, preferring to engage with men only as sexual partners.

Rieka is typically ruthless and aggressive when she is hunting in the woods, a task which she approaches enthusiastically. But in spite of that, she is capable of acknowledging whenever she's going too far.

As Rieka has aged she has come to despise and resent John to the deepest levels; making her cynical about father's and father-figures. She has really deep daddy issues.

The way John and Anita treated her has made it difficult for Rieka to love herself let alone someone else. She above all longs for a family of her own, often finding herself watching children that she comes across. She would never pass her curse on knowingly to a baby so has come to terms that it will never happen for her.

Rieka suffers from bloody nightmares; usually showing her hurting or killing an innocent human being, and as such she rarely sleeps without an abundance of alcohol in her system. This usually escalates if she allows herself to get close to anyone.

After she activated her werewolf gene, her temper and anger became noticeably heightened, at first every little thing set her off but over time and through meditation she has learnt how better to control herself.

Physical Appearance/Style:

Rieka is a very beautiful young woman with long dark brown hair and green eyes. Given her werewolf nature and her hunting background, Rieka is a very fit and healthy woman, with a slightly muscular figure.

Living in the woods, Rieka tends to wear clothing in browns and greens, usually whatever she has picked up from thrift shops. She tends to favour comfort over style and is seen more often in jumpers and cardigans paired with ripped jeans and t-shirts. She is a great lover of rings and is usually seen wearing many.

- Rieka has a higher body temperature than humans.

- Rieka likes tea, she usually uses special herbal blends created herself which help temper some of her rougher werewolf side effects.

Powers and abilities:

As a werewolf, Rieka possesses all powers associated with the species.

Werewolf:

Super Strength: Rieka possesses supernatural strength that makes her far stronger than immortals, Supernatural Hunters and humans. When she is in her wolf form, her powers amplify to a degree that excels that of the non-Original vampires, making her more powerful than non-Original vampires. In wolf form, Rieka can overpower and kill any non-original vampire with ease.

Super Speed: Rieka is much faster than immortals, supernatural hunters, and humans. She possesses this ability both in and out of transformation with an animalistic quickness; however, the power is faster at night than in the day, due to the moon's presence, and her speed increases greatly when she is transformed during the full moon.

Super Agility: Rieka possesses superhuman agility. Either in wolf or even in human form, she can move, jump very high, climb, flip, and run incredibly fast without difficulty or exhaustion. She can also jump down from incredible heights with almost gravity-defying grace.

Super Durability: Rieka can take far more trauma than humans without nearly as much discomfort or injury, however, not as much as vampires. She can also exert themselves for longer periods without tiring.

Healing Factor: Rieka possess superhuman regenerative abilities, meaning that if she is physically injured, her body will heal rapidly.

Super Senses: Rieka has the extremely keen and heightened senses of smell, sight, taste, hearing, and touch inherent in all canines. Because she is supernatural and have powers that exceed her wolf counterparts, she can hear, see, and smell better than that of regular canines.

Lycanthrope Enhancement: Rieka is able to make her eyes glow when angry or threatened, but only for a short amount of time. When she is furious or forced to defend herself, her anger increases all her power for a short period of time, which allows her to access some of the power of her wolf form to give her an edge.

Full Moon: Rieka's strength, speed, agility, and all her powers are enhanced to their peak during a full moon.

Night Vision: Rieka can see with clarity at night.

Pain Absorption: Rieka has the ability to absorb pain from animals, humans, and other creatures through tactile contact. This is usually done by touching the person who is in pain, or the injured body part and drawing the pain into herself, which manifests as Rieka's veins darkening as her body processes it. Initially, Rieka can only essentially "take the edge off" of a person's pain level, but with practice, she can eventually learn to take it completely.

Memory Manipulation Ritual: All werewolves technically have the ability to perform a memory-sharing ritual, but it is most commonly performed by Alphas due to the level of control and practice required to avoid harm or death towards the target. By sticking their claws into the back of a person's neck, they can view the person's memories, share their own memories with the target, or even suppress or remove memories entirely. Rieka has never done this.

Animal Instincts: Rieka is an apex predators, and, as such, she can assert dominance over other animals such as dogs, cats and deer. She can use this ability to force them to be quiet or leave the area, or to stand down if they are acting aggressively. As a result, these animals can often be frightened by the presence of Rieka. She also has natural animal instincts that allow her to think as true animals do, though some werewolves are more in-tune with these instincts than others.

"When the full moon crests in the sky, whoever is unlucky enough to fall under the werewolf curse turns into a wolf........If it were a choice, it wouldn't be called a curse"

Sorceress:

Magic, or sorcery, is a powerful force and is limitless in potential. Embed directly, magic is the ability to affect and change the world around the user. Similar to any power, its morality is reliant on that of the user - just as there are those who use it for their own ends or to harm others, there are benevolent users of magic who wish to channel it for good.

Magic is a natural force, albeit a very powerful one. As such, it is neither good nor bad, but simply a force that exists and may be used however the user sees fit. Magic can be evoked voluntarily through spells, though also appears to manifest itself in uncontrolled manners such as Rieka's prophetic dreams.

Magic also has its own set of laws, specifically when dealing with power over life and death. Some individuals demonstrate great magical ability, Rieka is one of them. Unlike other magic users, Rieka is one of rare users of magic who learns the power rapidly and powerfully.

Magic can achieve very wide range of results, among them shape-shifting, telekinesis, telepathy, slowing down time, energy blasts and summoning creatures or ancient forces. In many cases, the effects of magic can only be reverted by the use of further magic. Magic is not just a tool to be used and it is often stated that magic has rules, to the extent that in some cases, it takes on a will of its own.

The spells themselves vary hugely. Some may require the use of specific objects such as magical crystals, poppets, potions, herbs, or runes while others may have a direct effect without involving external objects. The complexity of a spell's preparation relies entirely on the difficulty of the spell cast and the power of the sorcerer. Longer incantations are generally shown to be more powerful, though this is not always the case. For some areas of magic there are several different spells which provide the same or a similar effect, such as healing spells and stunning spells.

Witchcraft/Spell Casting: Rieka is able to change and control events through the use of incantations and recitations, which either she creates or comes from her mother's grimoire.

- She has even showed that she doesn't need incarnations to cast. Closing doors and moving objects, calling them to hand, needing little more than a wave of her hand.

- John once caught her fixing a broken tree branch in the garden without the use of an incantation.

Channeling: Rieka possesses the ability to channel her own emotions as a source of power to fuel her magic.

Conversion/Transformation: Ability to magically transform an object into a different one. Rieka shows this when she transforms a toy into a flying monkey and back again. Also she once turned Alaric into a hamster during an argument. She quickly undid this.

Reality Warping (limited): Rieka can warp the reality in a limited extent. While playing cards with her friends, she turned the cards in her hands into good ones in order to win.

Telekinesis: Rieka can telekinetically move other people or objects.

Elemental Control: The ability to conjure and control the elements. She can conjure fireballs, and can use tree branches and roots to capture people.

- Pyrokinesis: Rieka possesses the ability to generate and manipulate fire. She has demonstrated this ability on many occasions being able to: generate fire in her palms, send a concentrated flow of fire, as well as being able to generate fire onto external sources.

- Fire Resistance: According to entries in Rieka's Grimoire, Rieka has been able to withstand her skin being in contact with candle flames, camp stoves, and blowtorches without sustaining any burns. When she uses her powers, she is completely resistant to the fire she creates, preventing her skin, hair, and even her clothes from burning due to contact with the flames.

- Thermokinesis: Rieka is shown warming up mugs of coffee and tea.

- Heat Resistance: According to entries written in Rieka's Grimoire, Rieka is resistant to the effects of burning heat, including the heat she creates with her powers.

- Chlorokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate plants.

- Geokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate the earth.

- Aerokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate air.

- Hydrokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate water.

Atmokinesis: At the funeral of her biological mother, Rieka became emotional, as a response to her crying, it began to rain heavily. Upon realizing what she was doing, the rain then started to flow back into the sky. This shows that Rieka had magical powers and awareness since a young age.

- Wind Spell: Rieka is able to conjure a wave of golden light that acts like wind.

Mirror Enchantments: An enchantments to see through mirrors and travel through them. Rieka is capable of using mirrors as a means of reconnaissance, communication, and imprisonment.

Warding Spell: Rieka cast a spell upon her necklace that burns anyone that attempts to take it, making it seemingly impossible to remove it unless the spell is removed.

Magical Immobilization: The ability to magically immobilize something or someone.

Conjuration: The ability that allows the caster to conjure an object out of thin air. Rieka was able to make a tea cup appear in Alaric's hand whilst practising this spell. As well as locate his ring when he missed placed it with some concentration. It appears to be easy for her to conjure something if she knows where it is.

Energy Blast: The ability to create magical blasts to harm the enemies and the objects in the most effective way.

Healing Spell: Rieka can heal most wounds inflicted either on herself or somebody else. This magic can be inhibited by other magics, such as curses, or cursed objects.

Locator Spell: The spell that will aid in finding something or someone.

Protection Spell: An spells to magically protect a location, an item or a person through various ways.

Sleeping Spell: A spell to induce sleep.

Magic Sensing: The ability to sense magic and spells.

Magic Transference: The ability to transfer or absorb magic from or into an object, another person, or a spell.

Potioncraft: She can successfully create Sleeping Curses, remembering potions and forgetting potions, even without magic.

Locator Spells (Bloodline): A spell to track someone linked to a person's bloodline, through use of the tracker's blood.

Protection Spells (Bloodline): A spell to cast a magical seal that can only be broken by someone of the same bloodline.

Memory Manipulation: The power to scan and take away memories from people and/or add false ones.

Containment: The power to contain a being in a given area.

Illusion Manipulation: The power to project highly realistic illusions into the physical world.

Astral Projection: The power to project their astral form from their body, essentially becoming a ghost.

Warding: The power to place protection spells and wards on places and people, shielding them from harm.

Necromancy: The power to control, manipulate and resurrect the dead.

Enchantment: The power to imbue a person or object with a magical capability.

Mediumship: The ability to see and communicate with the spirits of the dead.

Dream Walking: The power to enter another person's dreams.

Levitation: The power to propel oneself in the air and hover.

Telepathy: The ability to use spells read other people's minds, and hear their thoughts.

Empathy (also known as a Sensitive): The ability to identify the emotional feelings of another person. This is also the ability to take on other people's feelings of pain or pleasure, actually feeling the emotions of others. For a psychic empathy healer it is an ability that can help in relating the symptoms and cause of a client's ailment.

Intuition: The ability to have an innate sense of events, thoughts, and even the feelings of others that are normally outside of what the normal human ability is capable of perceiving.

Ceromancy (also known as Candle Reading and Ceroscopy): The ability to use candles for spell casting or to make prophecies. Also the ability to read into or use candles to meditate by gazing into a burning flame.

Extra Sensory Perception (also known as ESP or "Sixth Sense"): The ability to have perception beyond regular or normal senses.

Keen Magical Intelligence: Rieka has shown on several occasion that her knowledge of the arcane is demonstrably better than most. She has been able to identify spells cast by others, and can understand the inner workings of said spells within moments of examining them. For instance; she was able to successfully identify a sealing spell used on a door. She was then able to makeshift magic to unmake said sealing spell. She has frequently come up with solutions to many magical problems, and has on several occasion acted as an advisor to the group on things related to the arcane.

Hybrid:

"A hybrid would be deadlier than any werewolf or vampire"

Once a Hybrid all Rieka's werewolf powers become heightened more so, and she also gains:

- Also note that upon becoming a hybird, Rieka will lose her connection to her magic and will be unable to practice.

Immortality: Rieka stops aging the moment she transitions. She becomes immune to all conventional diseases, toxins, poisons, viruses, illness, infections, and injuries.

Day Walking: Due to her werewolf heritage, Rieka is immune to the lethal effects that u.v. rays and sunlight have on non-original vampires and original vampires. Allowing her to walk in daylight without the use of a day ring.

Emotional Control: Due to her vampire heritage, Rieka is able to exert certain control over her own emotions, e.g. She can turn off her humanity.

Enhanced Emotions: Because of her vampiric and werewolf traits, Rieka experiences emotions more powerfully than humans and non-original vampires. Particularly emotions such as anger, rage, aggression and violence due to her werewolf heritage. Natasha is more prone to violence and rage than non-original vampires. However, emotions such as love, joy, and happiness are intensified for her as well, allowing her to live life more intensely. This ability allows her to feel emotions at their peak regardless of her age.

Mind Compulsion: Rieka can compel the minds of Humans. She cannot, however, compel original vampires, non-original vampires, Supernatural Hunters, Witches or Werewolves.

No Sire Bond: Unlike the other hybrids, Rieka does not seem to be sired to the source of her creation, Klaus, whether this is because of her Alpha status or because she isn't the typical type of werewolf remains unknown.

Telepathy: Rieka has the ability, albeit a weak variant, to enter the minds of others as long as hers is stronger than them. Normally, this ability works in a tactile fashion and Rieka requires physical contact in order for it to work successfully. Like the physical attributes, mental strength increases with age.

Dream Manipulation: Rieka can control dreams and subconscious like non-original vampires/original vampires. She can produce and modify dreams, bestow nightmares or lucid dreaming.

Werewolf Bite: Due to her werewolf heritage, Rieka has venom which is fatal to non-original vampires and she herself is immune to werewolf venom. Rieka's venom seems to take effect much faster than a normal werewolf venom.

Shapeshifting/Transformation Control: Rieka has the ability to transform into her werewolf form at will. She can also perform partial transformations, manifesting single features of her werewolf forms.

True Alpha:

"An Alpha? Like...."

"Like all monsters come from somewhere, right? (...) First of their kind, the ones who create all the others"

Once Rieka becomes a hybrid she is boosted to Alpha status, it is unknown how or why this occurs, likely because of the way her werewolf gene was activated initially. Alphas stand as the fathers, or in Rieka's case the mother, of their allotted species.

Alpha Roar: Once a hybrid and an alpha, Rieka will have the ability to roar so powerfully that she can scare away weaker creatures and force Betas and Omegas to submit, to transform into werewolf form, or to return to human form. This roar can also empower the members of her pack, allowing them to fight through serious injuries enough to access their powers, which are often weakened or inaccessible when the werewolf is in extreme pain.

Alpha voice: The Alpha voice is an ability that only Rieka seems to possess. It is unknown how the Alpha voice works exactly only that it is similar to compulsion; and only works on werewolves and fellow hybrids. Once Rieka gives an alpha order, this order must be obeyed blindly. The werewolf or hybrid cannot directly disobey her commands even if they are in disagreement. This ability, however, cannot influence another alpha.

"... The compulsion to follow orders felt like puppet strings hooked into all of my muscles. One foot forward, now another."

Healing Disruption: Once a hybrid and an alpha, Rieka will possess a mystical energy that causes injuries they inflict on lower-ranking supernatural creatures with accelerated healing abilities to take much longer to heal than a normal wound would.

Infectious bite: As an Alpha Rieka could turn others into werewolves through a bite; it is possible that she could in theory turn others into hybrid with a bite; but as she is the first of her kind this is unknown (and undecided)

Claws and Fangs: Rieka has powerful claws and are able to cut through solid walls. Her fangs could tear human flesh and can rip out a human heart right out of their chest cavity. She can also transform just his claws without transforming fully.

Telepathic Link: Like other Alphas, Rieka, in theory, possess a telepathic link to her 'children', allowing her to track or communicate with them over great distance. She can also learn knowledge her children possess.

Invulnerability: Silver, wolfsbane, vervain, letharia vulpina, mountain ash and powerful tranquilizers cause no harm to Rieka, even other hybrids seem to have trouble with vervain and wolfsbane, Rieka's immunity seems to steam from her Alpha status rather then her hybrid one.
