November "Nova" Terra is the youngest sister of Clint Barton. Growing up, she possessed a degree of empathy, believed strongly in the concept of fair play, and was regarded as the "golden child" of the family.

Unknown to Nova, much of her empathy was attributed to her telepathic abilities. Her brother was aware of her abilities, if not the full extent of them. Without training, she could only sense emotions and at seven years of age was told that she was "empathetic."

At her fifteenth birthday party, Nova learned that she was psychic by reading the lecherous thoughts of her 'uncle' towards her.

"You needed time to sort out your memories, and we knew you couldn't do that in sickbay or locked up in a room. You would never believe in anything unless you figured it out for yourself. Nova possesses a degree of empathy and believes in the concept of fair play, or at least has an aversion to "cheating". Although willing to deal death to those she believes to deserve it, she wants to avoid harming those who fall outside this definition.

Nova is generally a polite and well-spoken member of the Avengers, she is kind and compassionate to all she meets.

When Nova was young, she was scared of her abilities and that caused her to be somewhat of a loner with only her older brother, Clint as her friend.

In her youth, Nova's uncontrollable powers led her to feel the emotions of others at all times, knowing how other people felt led her to want to be a better person and help them.

Nova has become much more confident and skilled with her powers.

Powers and Abilities:

"If there's one thing a sniper knows, it's how to defend her nest."

Telekinesis: Nova's telekinetic abilities can slowly lift her (and others), is powerful enough to uproot shrubs, and she was able to briefly hold up part of a fallen building. She eventually learned to focus these abilities, and has frequently "jammed" firearms with it. She once used the ability to physically force someone to shoot another opponent. She could use her power to fire guns "remotely", open and damage metal doors and destroy combat robots. Her telekinetic abilities can improve her accuracy with firearms, even guiding the bullets to an extent. Though using telekinesis gives her a headache. The more effort she uses, the worse the pain.

Telepathy: Nova has the ability to read, communicate with, and control other people's minds.

Telepathic Resistance: Nova has the ability to resist the telepathic intrusion of other psionics.

Astral Projection: Nova is able to project her consciousness into the Astral Plane, where a psionic's powers are able to affect the physical world there.

Precognition: Nova has displayed precognitive dreams in the revised timeline, portending a bleak future and disturbing her sleep to the extent of simulating seismic activity around the Mansion and causing the paintings in her bedroom to atomize.

Mental Healing: Nova has exhibited the ability to heal another's psychological trauma.

Memory Manipulation: Nova has displayed the ability to peruse into the deepest depths of another's mind to extract and manipulate their memories, displayed in both timelines. In the original timeline, she does so for Wolverine and Nightcrawler. In the revised timeline, she is able to restore the few memories in a berserk Wolverine's mind, restoring what little sense of self she could salvage of him.

Pain Inducement: Nova has the ability to project psionic forces from her mind powerful enough to cause both physical and mental harm to her desired targets. 

Pathokinesis: Nova can sense and change the emotions of others, though she must be careful not to constantly manipulate those around her, so as not to create a false reality of others simply feeling what she wants them to feel. She mainly uses it to calm down people who have been angered, to end a situation peacefully. Although her power is useful, the mood she inflicts only lasts for as long as her targets are within her range.

Abilities:

Sniper: Nova is the best snipe within the Avengers. Indeed, her Shield file labels her as "the best of the best."

Balance: Nova has a good sense of balance.

Combat Skills: Nova is skilled at martial arts and the use of weapons.

Hacking: Nova is a skilled hacker; she can take control of a nuclear silo in only a few minutes.

Pairing: Tony, Bruce, or Steve (Though I do like the idea of her with Steve)
