Bio:

May was born in 1940 to Richard and Mary Parker, alongside her twin brother Ben.

May's mutation manifested at an early age, however, it was never really acknowledged by her parents, at least to May, and whilst she always knew things she shouldn't, even predicting things that would happen, it was just considered to be May being strange.

Things were quiet for May, until her late teen years in which she used her telepathy to force her boyfriend at the time to walk in front of a bus after he had grabbed her throat during an argument. Whilst deemed an accidental death, Mary and Richard seemingly knew that May had been the one to force it. They kicked her out of the house, calling her a monster and an abomination.

Ben stood by his sister though, and the two of them immediately moved out of the family home together.

Ben and May now live in a small one-bed apartment in New York together, with them working any hours they can to afford to stay in a city that they both love.

Personality:

May is a very complicated woman. She is fierce and determined, yet can remain cool, calm and controlled. May comes across as quiet and withdrawn to those that meet her and many can find it too difficult to get to know her.

May can be flirty and charming, but this side of her comes out more so when she is relaxed and comfortable and around people she really trusts.

May is a moral person and will not kill or harm needlessly, nor does she attack those she deems to be innocent people.

May is extremely loyal and protective over those few who can gain her trust and respect. She is completely ready to sacrifice her life if it will save someone she loves, and will stop at nothing to protect her friends.

Powers and Abilities:

Telepathy: May has the power to access the minds of others. She can call out to them for help, or even make aspects of their mind "come to life". She can also manipulate their minds with or without their consent, asserting complete control over their senses, memories, thoughts, and personality traits.

Telepathic Linking: May is able to link minds with other people, however, she can only link with one mind at a time.

Memory Manipulation: May can not only access another person's memories, but can also alter, delete them, or implant false ones.

Illusion Manipulation: May has the power to make extremely accurate illusions of people. She makes these illusions by bending others' minds, making it impossible to perceive them as unreal.

Astral Projection: May's precognitive powers also grant her the ability to project her consciousness out her body and into her visions, with help from Xavier, she will be able to astral project into the real world, initially over a short distance, around the mansion, and later across vast distances.

May has the power to see into the future. It mainly works by her focusing on a certain object or person and keeping track of its decisions. She can currently only focus on one object or person at a time, but with help from Xavier she will be able to focus on several objects at the same time, up to the limit her mind allows.

The vision shows up after someone's decision, that probably means that her power is working all the time like a system alarm, no matter the distance of the target.

However, May's foresight has many limitations: she can only see the outcome of someone's decision once it is made - meaning the future can change all too quickly; and if the decision is not firmly rooted, she can see several possible futures at the same time. Also, her vision can be clouded if someone else's decision is involved. May, while talking about her talent, describes herself as being "far from infallible".

Bio:

Peta was born in 1984, in New York. Peta was raised by her mother May, and later her Uncle Ben after the death of her mother.

During her school years, Peta attended Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters but it wouldn't be until her teen years that she would move into the school.

Whilst attending Xavier's school, Peta became close friends with Piotr Rasputin.

After graduating, Peta joined the X-Men as Spider-Woman alongside Piotr as Colossus.

Appearance:

Peta is of slightly above-average height, with a lean but muscular build, weighing 150 lbs. and standing 5'10" in height. She originally has dark hair. Peta is often seen wearing jeans, heeled boots, and tight-fitting tops.

As Spider-Woman, Peta wears a skin-tight black bodysuit and eye-mask, which both conceals her identity and provides additional protection, whilst rather simple in design, it does have a white spider on the back, she also wears the X-Men belt buckle to represent her allegiance to the group.

Personality:

Peta Parker is compassionate, self-sacrificing, witty, determined, and a little socially awkward. A light-hearted wisecracker, she is proud of her humor, deploying it to break tensions and lift the mood, something that has at times irritated both friends and allies. However, while remaining upbeat in the face of adversity, Peta never adopts an arrogant or callous attitude. Peta is compassionate, loyal and faithful to those close to her, but not to the point where she will forgive their crimes.

Peta's heroism is driven by a sense of responsibility she feels. She regularly sacrifices personal well-being and relationships for the greater good. This commitment gives her an unwavering resilience against overwhelming odds and a commitment to justice, even if it means confronting respected allies over their wrongdoings. It also has meant Peta can take on a larger burden than she can bear, and blames herself unnecessarily when the city is hurt. Peta's sense of responsibility is somewhat driven by guilt of those close to her she has lost, particularly her mother May Parker.

Spider Physiology: Peta has the proportionate physical capabilities of a spider.

- Superhuman Strength: Peta possesses considerable superhuman strength, due to it being the proportional strength of a spider. Her strength alone is sufficient enough to catch a 1.5-ton car that was moving at 40 miles an hour when it was just inches away from hitting a bus. Peta can also easily hold the case containing her suit with one arm, whereas a grown man struggled to lift it up with both arms.

- Superhuman Durability: Peta's body is inhumanly resistant towards impact forces and blunt force trauma.

- Superhuman Speed: Peta can run and move much faster than an ordinary human and is adept at dodging quickly. Peta is also quick enough to catch up to a speeding vehicle on foot.

- Superhuman Agility: After Peta gained her powers, she became as agile as a spider, being able to make movements that would be extremely difficult for a normal human with great facility, capable of swinging around on thin spider-webbing and jumping great distances and heights without difficulty. Her bones, muscles, and joints have more elastic strength and durability, allowing her to perform gymnast and contortionist manoeuvres without damaging her bone structure. Peta can leap much higher than a normal human, enabling her the ability to jump and leap to a height of several stories in a single bound, and easily capable of jumping and leaping from one building over a street to the next.

- Superhuman Reflexes: On several occasions, it has been shown that Peta possesses reflexes far beyond the capabilities of normal humans. In conjunction with her Spider-Sense, Peta is able to easily dodge full auto gunfire at point blank range. Peta also possesses a heightened sense of equilibrium which greatly enhances her balance and coordination.

- Enhanced Senses: Peta's senses are greatly enhanced, with her describing them as being "dialled to eleven". Hence, Peta is able to sense potentially dangerous things shortly before they occur. For example, if an object is being thrown at Peta, she will usually be aware of it, even if it is hurled from far away and she is facing the opposite direction. Her senses are so developed that before mastering her own powers, she was forced to reduce her sensory input by wearing dark sunglasses and headphones, she still sometimes does this when she is feeling overwhelmed or if she just wants to relax.

- Spider-Sense: Peta has shown an extrasensory awareness of impending danger, known as her "Spider-Sense," a sixth sense, "Spidey-Tingle" or simply "tingle." Her brain intakes and responses to stimuli at an accelerated rate, acting as a precognitive ability to sense potential or immediate danger. This awareness thus implies some kind of intelligence, capable of parsing Peta's surroundings, identifying and critically evaluating a potential threat at a subconscious level, thus alerting Peta of dangers she cannot readily notice at first, allowing her to effectively dodge and counter incoming attacks in combat, including projectiles aimed at her even from a blind spot. Provided with her extraordinary speed and wall-crawling, the Spider-Sense is sufficiently well-linked to her superhuman kinesthetics and reflexes, and it permits Peta to evade all manner of spontaneous dangers by an evidently instinctual exercise of some uncanny reflex. It also gives her omnipresent detection to her surroundings, which is how she web swings without looking where she shoots her webs with ease.

- Regenerative Healing Factor: Peta's increased metabolism allows her to rapidly heal and regenerate from harm faster and more extensively than normal humans can recover from.

- Longevity: Peta likely inherited Wolverine's extended life-span, as she is in her 30s but still has the appearance of a woman in her mid-20s. It is unknown how extensive this is for her. 

- Wall Crawling: Peta can adhere to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in order to scale them and has stated that she does not use any adhesive gloves or fabrics to do it. This ability allows her to stick to any surface when willing herself to, as physical contact with said surfaces creates a locking connection necessary to support her body, even when she is inverted above the ground. Alternatively, Peta could make individual portions of her body adhesive.

- Organic Web Generation: Peta can generate and project her webbing from glands inside her forearms, her "spinnerets" to be exact. The silk is released through a spinneret near each wrist containing a central web spigot orifice used for web-slinging and draglines, supplemented by several radial minor spigots for other types of webs connected to specialized glands. She can utilize her organic webbing in any way she can, such as grabbing onto objects or rounding up individuals. The process is effortless for her, as she states it is like breathing. The high tensile strength of webbing is sufficient to support the weight of large vehicles such as buses and trucks. According to Xavier, Peta's web tensile strength is "off the charts".

Master Combatant: Peta's combat style is considered to be somewhat instinctive and composed of an improvised collection of techniques that emphasises the use of her superhuman strength, speed, agility, and Web-Shooters. Hence, Peta uses quick, powerful attacks and agile movements while firing her webs to immobilise her enemies.

Equipment:

Spider-Woman Suit: Peta's main suit was designed and created by her, and created using a mix of pvc, latex, and kevlar material. It is almost all black except for the white piping on it. Peta's suit is designed to give her maximum flexibility and movement while providing her some anonymity, and stealth. Her mask covers her features, keeping her from instant recognition. The material is a thick insulating cloth, protecting her from cold and wet conditions, while also being fire retardant. There is a white spider adorning the back and the traditional X-Men belt buckle.
