Bio:

Emil and Nadia were both runaways who fled abusive households. They married at sixteen, a year after they met. Living in a small apartment in London, Emil enlisted into the Royal Marines as a way to provide for his wife.

By eighteen, Emil and Nadia had started talking about children and decided to try for a child whilst Emil was training. They struggled. Fertility issues with both wannabe parents. Two years later, with their hope dwindling, Emil received a suspicious email that informed him of a fertility trial for which they would be paid to participate. Desperate for a child of their own. Emil and Nadia signed up for the trial.

This fertility trial was actually a secret experiment jointly run by Hydra and KGB to clone super soldiers, specifically Steve Rogers, but there were of other trials including Bucky Barnes, Alexei Shostakov and Isaiah Bradley. Emil and Nadia were chosen because of Nadia's background as a mutant (with the ability to manipulate static electricity) and likely Emil's Russian roots.

- It is unknown what happened to the other clone babies (ideas welcome on this, but I do like the idea that Katherine gets caught up in a plot with a clone. Maybe one of Bucky. Given that she's Steve's clone. It would be something to fill the space between MCU plots and stuff, given that Bruce doesn't really get his own stuff)

Emil was lead to believe that he would be the biological father of the resulting child, something he would believe for many, many, many years following the birth.

Ekaterina Valeriya Blonsky was born in London in the spring of 1987. Whilst both Emil and Nadia were overjoyed at having a daughter, the family dynamic wasn't one of peace. As Emil advanced in the Marines, the household became one of violence and abuse. Whilst Katherine was spared from this personally, she bore witness to several events in which Emil was abusive towards Nadia, usually after nights or days of heavy drinking.

During her childhood, Katherine was often seen by a 'speciality' paediatrician, placed there by Hydra and the KGB to keep an eye on their clone babies. They seemed to take special interest in Katherine due to her being born a female instead of a male like all the other babies in the trial, later theorised to have occurred due to her mother's mutation.

Through her youth, Katherine showed many signs of being enhanced, from pulling doors off of hinges, to punching holes straight through walls, and even excelling at track racing beyond traditional times. Despite this, Emil and Nadia just assumed it was part of her blossoming mutation and had no reason to consider otherwise.

At some point in her teenage years, Emil and Nadia separated with Nadia taking custody of Katherine. Katherine often spent weekends with her father, at least, in the beginning, but his duty to the Marines started to cause problems for the father and daughter, until Katherine refused to spend time with him when he would just 'pawn her off on his neighbour'. It was during this period that Katherine's mutation activated, likely through the stress of her parents divorcing as well as the previous domestic incidents that she was witness to.

After graduating secondary school at fifteen, Katherine went on to gain a PhD in engineering, following this, Katherine moved to the United States to study at MIT where she gained a reputation as a intelligent and studious young engineer with great promise, with Tony Stark even praising her design and creation of KEI-9, Katherine's robotic dog with artificial intelligence.

Throughout her following career, Katherine obtained an M.D. and a number of other Ph.Ds, including in robotics, metallurgy, physics and artificial intelligence.

Powers:

Being born the genetic clone, or she was supposed to be born the genetic clone of Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, Katherine has naturally occurring super soldier serum within her genetic make-up, this grants her enhanced physiological aspects, but because her mother was a mutant, Katherine was also born with the genetic potential to become a mutant, which manifested when she hit puberty.

Naturally Enhanced Physiology: Being born with the Super Soldier Serum wired to her DNA, all of Katherine's bodily functions, such as her strength, speed, senses, durability, agility, stamina, reflexes, and healing are naturally enhanced.

Enhanced Intelligence: Katherine's mental performance has been greatly enhanced to operate in the most efficient and rapid manner possible. She is considered a remarkable engineer.

Enhanced Strength: Katherine's physical strength is enhanced to considerable superhuman levels. Her super strength allows her to physically overpower combatants including elite-trained humans, extraterrestrial troops, and robot sentries. She can bend metal bars with visible effort, slam through solid walls and reinforced glass, and pry open steel doors, though Katherine relies more on stealth than strength.

Enhanced Durability: Katherine's bones and muscles are denser and much harder than average humans, which makes her incredibly durable. Though she is not bulletproof, she can survive extreme blunt force trauma, such as being hit with solid objects, or contact with superhuman opponents.

Enhanced Stamina: Katherine's body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-inducing lactic acid in her muscles and her musculature produces fewer fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human, granting him exceptional endurance and lung capacity, greater than that of normal humans.

Enhanced Reflexes: Katherine's reflexes are superior to those of the finest human athletes. Her reflexes allow her to dodge rapid gunfire at close range.

Enhanced Senses: Katherine's natural senses have been enhanced to the peak of human potential. She can see, hear, smell, feel, and taste things imperceptible to normal humans. This allows her to see further, hear with amazing clarity, detect specific persons, objects, substances with her smell, etc.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Katherine's body is naturally enhanced, granting her rapid cellular regeneration, enabling her to quickly heal from any injury. Minor injuries, like bullet wounds and broken bones, take mere minutes to recover. While more significant damage will take hours to restore.

Disease/Contaminant Immunity: Katherine is virtually immune to all viruses, diseases, and most poisons or toxins. Only the most potent of chemicals will affect her and only for a brief period before returning to normal.

Magnetokinesis: Katherine's main mutation is the power to be generate and manipulate all forms of magnetism to achieve a variety of grandiose and devastating effects.

Metal Manipulation: At a low level, Katherine can effortlessly launch pieces of metal like bullets, alter projectile trajectories of bullets, and even manipulate the standard mechanics of tool. For grander feats, she can easily lift, immobilizing, and crumble giant structures like. Her precision with this power also allows her to launch countless projectiles in rapid succession and maintain the structural integrity of her targets. Likewise, she is able to perform several feats at once, despite the amount of concentration required. She also uses this when working on her inventions and designs, capable of creating things simply by willing it and moving the metal of things, like KEI-9, into shape without the need of equipment, though she did have to still create the computer aspects inside of the AI device.

Flight: Katherine can fly by gliding on the magnetic fields she creates, or by having metal on her and moving with it. Alternatively, she can also draw herself to metal.

Metal Sense: Katherine is able to sense the presence of metals in her environment, as they are crucial for the effective use of her powers.

Technology Manipulation: Katherine can control and manipulate technology, she is often seen using this ability in her home, from turning on the coffee machine as she passes it, switching lights on and off, turning on her television, computer, and radio. It seems to be second nature to Katherine as she does it with little more than a though. This seems to be a secondary mutation that stems from her magnetokinesis.

- Technopathy: Katherine has the telepathic ability to control a variety of electrical devices. She is often seen using this ability to control her computer, being able to work on it without using a mouse or keyboard, as well as an elevator, and light bulbs among other things.

- Electrokinesis: Katherine appears to also have a measure of generating her own electrical source, able to brighten light bulbs not even wired in. She is strong enough that she single-handedly powers her apartment.

- Electronic Communication/Cyberpathy: Katherine has the ability to intercept, generate, and interpret electronic, digital, and radio transmission with her mind, she often uses this to communicate with KEI-9 who is capable of communicating back at her on top of being able to talk.

Genius-Level Intellect: Katherine is extraordinarily intelligent despite her young age, as seen with her inventions, and her many PhDs.

Master Engineer: Katherine is an exceptionally accomplished and ingeniously prolific engineer, as she developed much of the technology seen in her apartment, from prototype weapons, medical equipment, lab equipment, Glyph, and even KEI-9, a modified version of her FENRIS mechs which she designed and created for a military contract that was eventually scrapped due to the cost.

Master Scientist: Katherine is an exceptional scientist and has expertise in fields such as engineering, biology, chemistry, medicine and astrophysics.

- Weapons Systems, including: From his spinal plates, KEI-9 can produce a mounted sub-machine gun, KEI-9 can also launch small missiles from plates in his shoulders, inside of his mouth, instead of teeth, there are rows of sharp spinning plates like mini circular saws, meaning his bite will definitely hurt, and is able to tear flesh easily, and KEI-9's eyes contain lasers that when activated can cut through any common metal, his eyes will glow red when this program is activated.

- Basic Speech: KEI-9 has a limited vocabulary, usually one word sentences, most often he'll say hello, play, Kat, and squirrel. KEI-9 is, at the base of his design, a dog, and as such produces sounds much like a normal dog. (He will come to be able to say more names, including the Avengers)

- Owner Pairing: KEI-9 is paired to Katherine and will obey her every command, he is also completely protective of her able to sense when she is in danger, and able to sense friend from foe

- Scanner: Through a hidden panel in his head, KEI-9 can produce a device that works as a scanner, he uses this to scan the environment around him, or to scan an object of unknown origin, this information can be sent to Katherine via her cyberpathy so she can interpret the data.

- Camera: Through the device in the top of his head, KEI-9 can take photos and videos of his environment. He can also display these like a projector onto surfaces such as walls and screens. Katherine once used this to play a movie onto a bed sheet hanging on the wall.

- Torch: There is a torch light installed into the device in the top of his head.

- Glyph Unit: A unit from which Glyph can be produced and returned to. There is a geographical restriction in place, meaning that once it gets a certain distance from KEI-9, it will immediately reset at the unit.

Glyph:

Glyph is a holographic drone that can be produced and controlled by Katherine. She classes it as an Info Drone, and it is a prototype she is working on, hoping to one day roll them out into libraries and museums to aid tour guides and scientists. There is a base unit in Katherine's lab which Glyph can dock at, this charges and programmes the drone.

- Glyph is a VI, rather than AI like KEI-9

- Glyph is very polite if a little dim at times, it is easily confused and distracted, this is why it's still only a prototype.

- Glyph dutifully notifies Katherine of the weather, the recent news from across the world, as well as, reading reports from the Stock Market when she wakes on a morning, along with her daily schedule.

- Katherine uses Glyph to run safe mode diagnostics on KEI-9 as well as her equipment, inventions, and her car

-Glyph is also able to do some more mundane tasks, like purchasing tickets to the movies, to fundraisers, etc and making reservations at restaurants.

-Glyph tends to get distracted by new information and new technology, this could be Katherine's influence on the system and her own interest in technology.

-During fights, Katherine can instruct Glyph to lower the enemy's morale. It hovers over various targets and tells them statistical data on the likelihood of their survival. Glyph also works as a distraction and being holographic, it is almost completely untouchable.

- Glyph also helps in organizing parties. When it's present at such events, Glyph adds a bow tie to its holographic avatar.

- Glyph can also take photographs which are automatically saved on Katherine's phone or computer.

- Glyph enjoys to sing songs, Katherine has no idea why as she never programmed it into it. She's not been able to fix this either.
