Character: Acacia Fox

Book: Harry Potter//Marauders Era//

Genre: Romance/Fantasy/Mystery/Angst

Help:  Basically I've got a fix about her on my account, which hasn't proved too popular. I worry that's because she isn't original or interesting enough and wondered how I could inject some life and realism into her character. She is supposedly extremely secretive and has a murderous death eater father (who murdered her mother)- which she doesn't want anybody to know about. At the same time she doesn't know the full story herself; as she knows he killed her mother and many others while crazed and acting like a lunatic who ran around and did Voldemorts bidding straight after he had been nothing but loving and kind to both her and her mother. She had not known their school houses or their pasts, as she died before she could comprehend it and her father left her at a similar time. Though she does know their names, yet that is about the extent of her knowledge- basically, she knows exactly what all the press and other wizards/witches know of it. Nothing more, nothing less.

She is supposed to be greatly beautiful though she may not realise it herself, and polite above anything else.I wanted her to have a more lively side that began to shine through after she developed a closer relationship with Sirius Black, who is the focus of the fic. Though I am not quite sure how to portray this happening either.
