Set in a futuristic version of earth, in the year 2040, humanity is the witness to an unexpected and strange meteor shower that fills the night sky. This was considered the "Omen Rain," as over the next few weeks, strange and dangerous kaiju begin to appear all across the globe. Despite acting as animals, this is a planet where they do not belong. Thus followed the destruction of cities and the loss of mass civilian life. As the United Nations military try to combat these territorial creatures, a young man by the name of Saxon Warner discovers a secret that can potentially save humanity. A massive, 100-meter alien mech, with the inside being inhabited by a girl too alien to be form earth. With a sense of responsibility, Saxon becomes the guardian of earth, with the aid of the alien girl, he pilots the mech he now dubs "Kaiju Buster." But with these powerful aliens and even the United Nations military not trusting their new alien savior, what will become of Saxon and the strange machine?

Kaiju Buster

Pilot: Saxon Warner

Neural Linker: Milania

Description: With a bulky humanoid appearance, Kaiju Buster takes the shape most seen as an "alien knight." With a large upper body covered in white armor and spiked shoulders, the torso region being a black, connecting to bulky legs with white armor plating on its thighs and calves. Its hands and feet are black and resemble more as claws. Its chest holding a golden symbol of an oval and two blades curving around it, with a white dot in the center. Its head is less elegant looking, having a helmet like design but a large horn jutting out of the forehead. Holding black eyes on its face as well as having a gold mouth guard.

Abilities: Kaiju Buster has a huge plethora of weapons and equipment. Its hands are able to transform into large canons, shooting out a pulse of energy. From its wrists it is able to unsheathe large silver blades, but when going for physical punches it is able to boost its attack with jets on its elbows and even move a wrist guard for extra added impact. Using jet boosters that pop out of its back, it is able to gain flight. Opening the golden symbol on its chest, it is able to shoot out a powerful beam attack known as the Flash Buster.

Personality: While Kaiju Buster is mostly unmoving until it is activated, there have been cases where it has been able to move or activate itself. These moments are rare and do not happen for very long. While Saxon is unsure, Milania has stated that she feels the emotions of Kaiju Buster. Hears him breathing, thinking during the neural link. Is Kaiju Buster truly just a machine?

While powerful, Kaiju Buster has a flaw. It's energy source can last only up to 8 hours, with some weapons requiring extra amount of energy. If useful up, Kaiju Buster will need a 24 hour charge from solar energy. When damaged, Kaiju Buster will use nanomachines to begin repairing its armor using the materials from its surroundings. The repair time will also depend on how damaged Kaiju Buster is.

Characters:

Saxon Warner: The main character and pilot of Kaiju buster. In his junior year of college, Saxon was always a man with a good heart. Thanks to his grandfather and father, he was raised with a sense of honor and the urge to do good. He hates how he wouldn't be smart or strong enough to help others, which made the task of piloting Kaiju Buster an even bigger shellshock to him. Yet, thanks to his family and friends, Saxon is always reminded to keep going, to keep fighting no matter the challenge.

Appearance: A short set of red hair with blue eyes. Standing at 5'6, Saxon is dressed in an old WW2 pilots' jacket that his grandfather had left him when he passed away. The jacket shows a cartoonish looking version of a plane, giving a thumbs up and a cheeky smirk. Choice of shirt varies but is mostly seen with a black shirt under his jacket. His pants are usually that of jeans, but occasionally switches out for khaki pants.

Milania: The strange alien girl found inside and helps Saxon connect to Kaiju Buster. Milania, while human in appearance, has enough features that consider her as strange and unusual to see. Despite this, she isn't afraid of humans and even shows that she is curious about them, wanting to learn their culture and way of life. She even shows great sympathy to the kaiju that they fight but understands that their actions cause the suffering of people. Milania suffers from amnesia and has no idea on what her life was like.

Appearance: Mostly humanoid, yet still needs to put on a disguise when walking around in public. Standing at 5'4, with pale skin. Her hair is snow white and reaches down on her shoulders, too natural looking to be considered dye, thus needing to tie her hair and put it under a hat. Her eyes are the strangest things about her, with black sclera and white pupils with small white dots in the sclera that resemble stars. She has to wear sunglasses due to this. She feels the most comfortable wearing a dress but is more than willing to try a variety of different styles.

Maya Warner: Saxon's single mother and the only one who is given knowledge on Kaiju Buster. Ever since the death of her husband, she has been living with her son on a hillside house. While not the wealthiest, she is a gentle and caring woman, being more than willing to help anyone that needs it. Whether it be her son, neighbors, pretty much anyone. She was more than willing to give Milania shelter, usually the one to help her choose her dresses. Her cooking is also just.... godly.

Appearance: Has long red hair, but with brown eyes, Maya stands at 5'6. Her usually choice of clothes is a long sleeve sweater with khakis, but at home she is always rocking her comfy pants. When working or cleaning, she is found in a blue apron. More formal events have her wearing a black dress.

General Armstrong: The general of the UN military, Armstrong is a hardy man with a no-nonsense attitude. He has risen in the ranks from a simple soldier, to being the most respected man in the military. He has taken more extreme measures however when the kaiju arrived, even willing to risk the destruction of evacuated cities if it means they can kill a kaiju. With the new threat, he has foreseen all the production and planning of new military weaponry. He hates Kaiju Buster with a burning passion, not only seeing it in just as bad of a light as the kaiju but feels as though he is making the earths military look weak in comparison.

Appearance: Standing at 6'1 and always dressed in his formal military attire, Armstrong looks and feels like a veteran. He holds a large scar across his cheek from a knife wound. Despite reaching 60, he is built like a tank and is more than capable of knocking out a full-grown man. He is also ballsy enough to sometimes even take the wheel in an assault or defense of a kaiju attack.

Side characters mostly include Saxon's friend. Harald, a more physically fit and brotherly figure to Saxon, acting as the leader of their group. Eric, a nerdier guy who has shown Saxon the wonderful world of card games and video games. Gabriel, a tomboy whose family owns a ranch, where she helps her family with the animals. And finally, Hanna, a shy girl who loves books and helps her grandparents at their floral shop.

The Kaijus:

ThunderLord (thunderous terror)

Reference: Godzilla

Appearance: A 100-meter tall, bipedal reptile like monster. Its body is slim yet bulky, sporting a color pallet of a red backside and a white underbelly. Its back is littered with lightning bolt like spines, occasionally sparking out yellow electricity. Its head is a mixture of monitor lizard with the rectangular shape and crude teeth of a crocodile. It has thick and powerful hind legs that allow it to tower above buildings but can go on all fours for more savage attacks. Its arms are small yet powerful enough to throw buildings. Its tail is long and strong enough to shatter buildings.

Abilities: Thanks to an electrical conduit organ placed behind its lungs, ThunderLord is able to produce a powerful beam of electricity as a ranged attack. These can vary in strength and size, with the longest recorded beam blast lasting around ten seconds. ThunderLord may also use its back spines as a conduit to attract lightning during storms, boosting its strength for its next battle. Its bones are also considered to be near indestructible, being one-hundred times harder than diamonds.

Personality: ThunderLord is a solitary, yet prideful creature. Any attacks it conducts on cities are to show its display of strength. Often it attacks civilizations in areas it deems as "territory", but rarely does he seem to specifically attack humans.

Armipede (hive force)

Reference: Legion (Gamera)

Drone appearance: A horde of 9ft tall insects with body structures and black carapaces similar to rhinoceros beetles. Their eyes are red and compound, similar to those of flying insects. They hold enormous, snapping jaws similar to Trap jaw ants, with wasp like stingers. Their limbs themselves are coated in strange, gear like protrusions.

Combined apperance: When a perceived threat is deemed high enough, the remaining swarm will combine into a 300-meter long, centipede like creature. It holds a black color scheme as lines litter across its body, showing the combined status of the swarm. Its eyes are red and compound due to two groups of the drones It holds no mouth, but two circular holes near the bottom of its head. Its eyes are due to the combined groups of drones. These creatures act in perfect unison, using chemical signals to act accordingly with the rest.

Drone abilities: Its brute strength is dangerous for civilians, being able to easily crash through walls and crush cars. Its carapace is also extremely hard, able to reflect a certain amount of tank projectiles. Its jaws are strong and fast enough to tear through tanks with ease. They do not use their stingers for combat, instead they are used to gather energy from power plants.

Combined abilities: sporting terrifying strength as well as the ability to trap its opponents in a vice like grip, its main method of attack is to use the energy absorbed from power plants to conduct two energy like blades from the holes at the bottom of its head. These blades are essentially plasma, able to cut through buildings and metal like a hot knife would with butter.

Personality: These creatures are strange, as they hold no queen or hold differing personalities of their own. They all act accordingly for the survival of their hive, with their only ultimate goal being to gather energy, which is theorized to be their food source.

Seraphias (glowing warrior)

Reference: Angels (Evangelion)

Concealed appearance: A 50-meter ball of glowing light. It holds six, bird like wings, four that conceal its body and two that help it travel slowly through the air. It holds a singular red eye like crystal that scopes out its surroundings.

Unleashed appearance: Once it finds a worthy foe, the wings on the ball break open as Seraphias uncurls himself. It holds a male, humanoid like appearance with black skin on his torso and face. White scales cover its arms and legs, while it holds a red spear in its hand. It only holds six red eyes on its face, with no mouth or nose. Its six wings stay curled behinds its body. Floating behind his head is a ghost like halo, barely noticeable unless seen up close. The same red crystal from its concealed form is located directly in the center of his chest.

Concealed abilities: Only known ability the concealed form holds is the ability to shoot a powerful red laser from the crystal.

Unleashed abilities: His main abilities hold in his strange, master like talent with the spear. From stabbing and slashing, the spear is also able to produce red arrows of energy from its tip. His eyes are able to look in multiple directions at once. His wings act as shields and extra blades, strong enough to block high grade missiles and break buildings.

Personality: Seraphias strangely inhibits human like qualities. When in his concealed form, he prefers to remain solitary, rarely leaving the spot he is in. He only attacks when provoked by outside forces. When unleashed, he holds characteristics of that of an warrior. Only attacking those that continue to provoke him, but will keep an enemy alive if he deems them worthy enough.

Mecha-ThunderLord (mechanical terror)

Reference: MechaGodzilla

Appearance: A mechanical version of ThunderLord after the UN Military found its still intact skeleton at the bottom of the ocean. Coated in a mechanical frame that is linked to the spinal column of the skeletal frame. With a blockier appearance compared to its flesh counterpart, Mecha-ThunderLord is more equipped for specifically fighting kaiju. Longer arms that hold powerful vice grip fists, two rocket turrets on its shoulders, and a drill like tail that is capable of shooting said drill out as a massive rocket. Its back spines are covered by mechanical pillars that spark with white electricity.

Abilities: Along with the enhanced bulkiness and strength, Mecha-ThunderLord holds the arsenal given by the UN military. Multiple powerful warheads from its shoulder turrets. A drill tail capable of going through the toughest armor. Laser eyes of course. Its bulkier hands hold a powerful vice grip. The mechanical pillars on its back are capable of going into overdrive, allowing the mechanical menace to blast an even more powerful version of its regular breath attack, now compensated for a fake organ.

Personality: Mecha-ThunderLord loses its prideful personality, remaining motionless and solitary under the control of the UN military. He was originally designed for beating Kaiju Buster, proving that they didn't need to rely on this alien hero. However, there is a slight change that ThunderLord, despite only being a skeleton, is still in there. Silent and waiting, waiting for the one day it will be able to take control again.

Mecha-ThunderLord will be destroyed and rebuilt in later arcs, getting more and more powerful and referencing the many designs of MechaGodzilla

Sonizem (hidden sound)

Reference: Rodan

Appearance: While hard to see, Sonizem is a 50-meter bird like kaiju that spends most of its time in the Appalachian Mountains.  It has a silver set of feathers on its underbody, with more black feathers coating its back. Its wings are 80-meters long, with each flap loud and powerful enough to cause a massive gust of wind. Its main weapons are its massive black talons. Its head hold a set of silver and black feathers that stick up in three directions, with a massive beak similar to Marabou Stork that's hard enough to break through powerful armor if flown down hard fast enough.

Abilities: While being powerful and fast creatures in the sky, they use this speed as a form of boosting their attacks. Diving down at the right speed, they can tear apart anything using their talons and stab through powerful material with their beaks. Not only that, but they can also do the similar "Falcon Punch" that Prairie Falcons do. But their greatest weapon is their silver feathers, having enough reflective surface to blind its opponent with sunlight reflections by turning its body.

Personality: Sonizem is identified to be a female, who has shown to be a solitary predator that spends her time alone in the Appalachians. When it does hunt, it travels long distances to search for farms, taking the animals with free pickings. It is highly territorial, attacking any planes near the mountains.

Mydra (deep sea predator)

Reference: Biollante and the Kraken

Appearance: Located in the deep sea, Mydra is a rather freaky looking creature. Holding a cephalopod like appearance, it is rarely seen outside of the few submarine reports, ones that usually end in lost signals. From the reports, it holds an 80-meter Cuttlefish like body, with the main back holding large fins that help it move around. The freakiness begins when shown at the lower body, where it holds an enormous crocodile like maw powerful enough to tear through submarines. Its tendrils are twice as long as its body, with the ends of them holding powerful jaws that latch onto prey. It holds about 23 of these tendrils.

Abilities: While having its tendrils, it holds one of the strongest bite forces of the known kaiju on earth. It mainly sticks to the deep sea but will come to higher levels when exploring or hunting. This is where it shows its other ability, the ability to camouflage and change colors like a cuttlefish.

Personality: While the only one of its kind on Earth, Mydra is shown to be an active kaiju. Theorized to be a social one as well, as when it is exploring it is creating a loud clicking sonar sound, which is thought to be it trying to call for other members of its species.

Cyclotaur (one eyed menace)

Reference: Classic stop motion monsters

Appearance: Standing at 80 meters while on all fours, and 100 meters while standing on its hind legs, Cyclotaur is one of the more brute force kaiju. Located in Greece, he is shown to be one of the stranger looking kaiju. Having a gorilla like torso and arms with black fur, its brown hind legs are that of bovine like animals. Its head is one of the strangest looking, having a bull like head with curved white horns, but only holds one gigantic eye.

Abilities: The most notable aspect of Cyclotaur is its brute strength, strong enough to tear huge chunks out of the earth and use them as throwing projectiles. Despite only having one eye, it has a great sense of eyesight, able to look for weak spots in enemies to pierce with his massive horns.

Personality: Thought to be a more social monster, Cyclotaur spends his days traveling across Greece and Bulgaria. He is shown to be a herbivorous kaiju, tearing huge chunks of trees out of the ground to eat. While scientists are unsure, Cyclotaur is thought to be in a form of depression, recently shown to be staying in a rather small area. Said area being close to a civilian settlement.

Matrias (burrowing queen)

Reference: Baragon and Graboids

Appearance: Standing on its hind legs at 40 meters tall, Matrias is a subterranean female kaiju. Having a brown set of scales across its body, with a less armored underbelly. She holds a small set of horns on her head, two on the right and left sides with one longer horn on her forehead. She holds massive claws that are powerful enough to dig massive tunnels through hundreds of miles. However, she has no eyes. Her jaw is a bone like structure with three sections. From that, four long and sticky tongues shoot out to catch prey.

Abilities: Having one of the strongest sets of claws compared to the other kaiju, they're not only strong but sturdy enough to tear through miles of dirt and rock. Because she has no eyes, she uses echolocation to find her way. She is also deceptively fast underground, able to cross distances extremely quickly due to her digging.

Personality: It is theorized that Matrias is the queen of a colony of kaiju just like her. She is constantly digging across the world, theorized to be an effort to find a place in order to start up another colony. However, it is unknown whether she is able to reproduce asexually or needs a male subject to impregnate her.

Illis (benevolent warrior)

Reference: King Kong

Appearance: Standing at 100 meters in height, Illis is a humanoid rock like monster. Composed of massive brown boulders and stones that make up the body. Two red eyes stand at the head of the beast, shown to be made of living tissue compared to the rest of the body. It is because of this that scientists have theorized that the stones act as a form of protective exoskeleton when in combat.

Abilities: While not only having immense physical strength, Illis is a lot more maneuverable than you think. Able to fully sprint at high speeds across landscapes. Its main form of attack is its unique ability to gather rock from the ground to add onto its body, either making its physical form bigger or turning his arms into various different weapons.

Personality: Surprisingly enough, Illis is shown to be the most benevolent of all the kaiju recorded. He prefers to remain away from human civilization and other kaiju, only resorting to violence if he is pressured by an outside conflicting force. While it is extremely rare, there have been recorded cases where Illis is shown to actively help people, the most famous case is unknowingly guarding a village from another kaiju. Illis is currently located near that village. 

Beliron (coiling wings)

Reference: Q the Winged Serpent and Reptilicus

Appearance: With an estimated length of 200 meters, Beliron is an avian like kaiju that is reminiscent of the ancient dragons of earths legends. Holding a serpentine like body, covered in a variety of colored scales, Beliron has 3 sets of legs and wings. The wings themselves are scaled but are designed in a way to look like bird feathers. Its head is reptilian and holds a pair of huge fangs, while having a full set of teeth behind them.

Abilities: Beliron is not only good at aerial combat, but unlike a kaiju like Sonizem it is able to conduct combat on the ground, only during dire circumstances. Its body is strong enough to allow a constriction like attack. While its fangs are dangerous, its main form of attack is using an actual fire breath using a special organ near its stomach.

Personality: Beliron, like other kaiju, is a territorial creature. However, he is shown to have a strange, human like obsession with hoarding. Ranging from cars, buildings, to even military vehicles, Beliron is said to be greedy and keeps these items in its nesting area, which has yet to be located.

Avatus (elemental world builder)

Reference: None

Appearance: While usually not seen by the naked eye, heat signatures and radar scans have been able to see what this kind of kaiju is. Its body is 30 meters tall, with its limbs reaching up to 100 meters. It is similar in shape to a starfish but has no noticeable eyes. It holds six long limbs It is theorized that it uses the magnetic fields in order to "see" its surroundings.

Abilities: Avatus is considered an extremely dangerous kaiju due to its strange ability to mold the environment around it. It is unsure how, but Avatus is able to use its limbs and some strange energy source to use earth, fire, water, and even wind itself in order to create a protective shell and weapons. From studies, it is theorized that it is able to do this when it produces a light blue glow from its body.

Personality: So much is not known about this kaiju that most of it can be chalked down to theory talk. A creature so alien even compared to the other kaiju that it is unknown what planet it even comes from. One of the craziest, but most plausible theories, is that Avatus is part of a race of "world shapers." Creatures that travel around the galaxy, finding and molding worlds to their liking. Currently Avatus is being kept in a quarantine zone in the Gulf of Mexico, where it has barely moved since the kaiju first came here.

Erissair (beast of eternal sorrow) 

Reference: Shin Godzilla, Hedorah, and Frankenstein

Appearance: Standing at 110 meters tall, Erissair is composed of black sludge which constantly oozes off of its body. It holds freakishly long arms that nearly fall to the ground, short but fat legs that are able to hold its massive body. Its lower torso is fat and nearly drags onto the ground, with its upper torso and neck elongating outwards. Its "head" is usually motioned down to the ground.

Abilities: Its entire body is considered hazardous, not only having immense amount of pollution, but the pollution itself has traces of radiation inside of it. It is able to use its long arms for grabbing, but it can also throw large piles of sludge towards its opponents. Only when pushed far enough will it show its main ability, as a giant rose will appear on the top of its "head" and produce beams of energy. When pushed even more, it will began to produce more roses around its body and shoot the beams from there as well, expanding its field of vision and attack power.

Personality: Despite being such a horrible abomination, Erissair rarely is shown as malevolent. It mainly either stays in one location, killing all life there, or slowly move around, spreading pollution everywhere it goes. Only once has Erissair shown to actively attack humans when it wandered into a civilian population area. Thousands of rounds from the military, and the use of a prototype "Kaiju Killer" tank, caused it to reveal its eyes and turn the city into a radiated wasteland. There it still remains, where it barely shows any signs of leaving the city.

Genaddon (evolving menace)

Reference: Cell, Bagan, and The Thing

Abilities: Gennadon main ability is its disturbing feat of evolving at an extremely accelerated rate. Not only that, but able to infect other individuals in order to speed up its evolution rate. Its abilities range from each form it has.

Cell form: Only seen as a red, single celled organism. Once introduced into the bloodstream of a clumsy scientist, it immediately begins to infect the body and change its biological makeup.

Humanoid form: Standing at 11ft tall, his body is scaled in plate armor, but its arms and legs showing red muscle fibers. It holds large claws on its hands. Its face is that of a disturbing, monstrous form of the human skull, with massive teeth going across its cheeks. Its abilities include an immense amount of strength, able to tear apart tanks and withstand missile fire, speed that is able to keep up with a jet, and a powerful roar that is able to put a dent in a tank.

Air form: After spending a short time in a protective cocoon, Gennadon breaks out and reveals its reptilian, bird like form. Holding massive, feathered wings 70 meters in length, with the main body being 40 meters in height. It holds three spiked tails at its back, using it for slashing and stabbing. Its armored face has the ability to shoot a beam of condensed sound, powerful enough to cut through buildings.

Titan form: After being downed in his air form, his evolution goes into an insane rate as his body transforms then and there. Standing at 100 meters, having elephant like feet, a shelled body similar to that of a tortoise with powerful short arms. Its neck is serpentine with his head resembling a demonic version of a snapping turtle. While it has extraordinary physical strength and defense, it has a small but powerful ability to shoot a ring of condensed energy.

Final form: Once beaten in its titan form, it breaks from its shell to reveal its final form of evolution. Standing at 125 meters, its body is a mixture of all its previous forms. A human body structure with powerful armored plating, even the muscle fibers visible on its arms and legs being armored. Holding four arms with powerful enough strikes to crack a mountain, its back holding wings that allows it to fly and speed across the area. Its head resembles that of a European version of the dragon, holding three horns on the back of its head while holding six eyes, three on each side. Not only does it have insane strength, speed, durability, but it holds a powerful beam attack that is an evolution of its ring ability.

Personality: Gennadon only seems to want one thing and one thing only, to get stronger through any means necessary. Each form only being taken in order to improve any weakness it once had. And with its final form showing little weakness, who knows what can even stand up to it.

(Erissair and Gennadon are late villains in arc 1, they are not around as long as the previous ones.)
