yesterday during creative writing I was telling my wife about Ellie and I said "yeah she's a fucking dumbass" and my teacher thought we were talking about an actual person but me and my wife quickly said "oh no we're talking about my character" (though I did mention she would probably punch me if she'd heard me say that) and then we all laughed about it

I love my creative writing teacher she's so cool
