Axel's POV~

Saturday came by pretty quickly for me.

I woke up early and went for a jog at the park near us. Then I practiced my dribbling under the shade of the sakura trees with their petals being blown away by the wind. Then after that I went home and took a shower, got dressed then ate breakfast with Julia.

After that, my day was composed of mostly working out, playing with Julia, my sister and Jeanne (our cat), reading and listening to music while basically relaxing.

That night me and Julia thought we should watch a movie together. It was about 9:30 when she fell asleep on my lap. Being the good brother that I am, I took her to bed and cleaned up the mess of empty potato chip bags, popcorn crumbs, chocolate wrappers and left-over cookies.

After that I headed to my room, took a shower and changed to a pair of black pajamas and white sleeveless shirt. It was about 10pm when I was about to close my eyes to get some sleep when my phone vibrated on the table beside my bed. I took it and opened the message, it was from Coach Hillman:

Please come to school tomorrow at 9am sharp for an important meeting. Your attendance is a must.

''A meeting?'' I said to my self, ''alright then, beats waisting my time here.''

And with that I slept.

I woke up late the next morning, must be because of the movie. It was already 8:15 when I came out of the showers and changed into my uniform. I ate a lite breakfast consisting of cereal and fruits.

After breakfast, I went outside and made my way to school, taking my usual route passing the park.

There I saw Julia under a big sakura tree with tears on her face.

''...-san, be careful!'' she yelled.

Just then, a hand appeared and handed her a white, fluffy ball of fur. Her smile then reappeared on her face while holding our cat in her arms.

''Julia are you alright?'' I asked running up to her. She saw me and smiled, ''Onii-chan!''

Just then, we heard a yell coming from up the tree.

''Onee-san! Hold on.''

I looked up and saw a lean figure hanging from a branch, a few meters above our heads. Without thinking twice, I went below the branch she was hanging from. And as fast as a heartbeat, the person lost her grip and fell straight into my arms. Because of my athletic body build, I was able to catch her without loosing my balance. I was holding her bridal style with her arms around my neck and her facet burried just above my chest. The fall must've scared her real bad.

When my gaze landed on her, I felt my heart skip a beat.

Her midnight colored hair was long and framing her angel-carved face. Her eyes once close eyes, when opened reveal a pair of sapphire colored eyes that glittered in the sunlight. She had crème-colored skin and her body was lean but had apparent curves, making her look like a model.

She was wearing a light-blue and white tracksuit with a pair of running shoes.

I just then noticed how close our faces were and how our lips were only inches apart. There we were, just staring at each other while the sakura leaves fall around us, being blown by the wind. The view was absolutely breath taking.

It felt like forever and my heart was in an uncontrollable fit. The kind you feel when you have an adrenaline rush. I could feel my cheeks go warm and my thoughts blurry, I don't know why though.

I guess she realized how close we were and blushed, ''U-uh, can you let me down?'' she asked me with the sweetest voice I've ever heard.

I was then brought back to reality. ''O-oh, I'm sorry.'' I said bringing her down. ''So, what exactly happened?''

She was about to answer when a phone rang, it was hers. When she took it out of her pocket, I saw her wince a little. When she opened it, she got a shocked look and excused herself.

When she returned, she gave us a sheepish smile, ''I'm sorry I have a rather important appointment to go to and I'm running late.''

''Do you have to go so soon onee-san?'' Julia asked sadly.

She smiled and scratched Jeanne's ear, ''I'm afraid so. Don't worry though, I'm sure we'll meet again someday.''

She then turned to me and smiled, making my cheeks even warmer, ''Thank you for saving me, I owe you so much. And I hope I make it up to you someday. Bye, take care.'' After that she waved us goodbye and jogged away.''

When she was nowhere in sight, I turned to Julia and lead her out the park.

''Julia, what happened back there?''

''Oh, Jeanne-chii and I woke up early so we went to the park to play. We were at the slide when Jeanne-chii saw a butterfly and chased it up that sakura tree. I guess she was so high up that she didn't know how to come back down, so I started to cry.'' she said while scratching Jeanne's ear just like how the girl did. ''And then onee-san saw me and asked me why I was crying. When I told her what happened, she volunteered to get Jeanne-chii for me. And she did! Now Jeanne-chii is safe again.''

''Yeah, that's great to hear.'' I said ruffling her hair.

After making sure Julia got home safely, I took a cab to school since I thought I was really late.

Surprisingly, I arrived just in time. But what's more surprising were the faces that greeted me as I opened the door.

''Axel! Nice to see you again bro!'' Hurly Kane said as he came towards me with Darren Lacchance, our former goalkeeper, Scotty Bunyan, our annoying prankster of a defender and Shawn Froste my fellow striker.

I all greeted them and asked them how they were after the whole 'Alieus Academy' incident. They say they were doing great and was missing the team.

''Look who finally showed up.'' Kevin Dragonfly said coming towards me with some of my team mates from Raimon, Nathan Swift, William Glass, Todd Ironside, Shadow Anderson, Max Carson and Jack Wallside.

''You took your sweet time getting here Axel, what got cornered by a girl again?'' Nathan teased. ''If you did, you could've at least left the chocolates for us.''

I don't know why, but for some reason, what Nathan said made me go back to what happened earlier this morning and somehow, I felt a bit fluttery.

''Axel, you ok?'' Jude asked me while holding my shoulder.

''Huh? What? oh yeah, I'm fine. Why?'' I stuttered.

''You blanked out on us dude, that never happened before. Are you sure you're alright?''

''O-oh yeah. Just got something in my mind, that's all.'' I gave him a reassuring smile.

He wasn't totally convinced, but he still nodded and introduced his old team mate David Samford to Thor Stoutberg, my friend from Okinawa and Adonis Murdock, my former teammate from Kirkwood Junior High.

''Long time no see Blaze.'' a familiar voice said behind me. I turned around and smirked.

''Xavier Foster, should've known you'd be here.'' I said shaking his hand.

''You were called too I see? Well, what do you think?''

''Honestly I think we have a pretty strong crowd here.''

''Yeah, there are still some guys that I don't know.'' He said motioning to the guy with purple hair at the corner,''You know that guy?''

''No, not a clue.''

Just then a familiar figure came in the scene. At first it was hard to tell who he was, but then we realized that it was Janus from Alieus Academy. Before a fight was about to break out,  he explained that he was called here too and that he was sorry for what he'd done in the past. Now he was going by the name Jordan Greenwell.

Everything was patched up surprisingly in a sudden way and we all went back to our little chats. That is, when we heard the door opened and followed by a cocky, ''Sorry I'm late.''

yeah! 2nd chapter is finish. sorry if this was too long, i was inspired to write today. mostly because i'm still upset about my lost drafts (again, i hate you phone!)

sorry if my writing style sucks, I'll try to be better next time.
