General Butter
A/N: Okay - there is a meaning to this apparently silly poem. And it's just this; in this life, you will face battles that are significant. Significant to life on earth, and significant to life in eternity. In these battles, such as the battle for your soul, you must fight. Fight like hell, if you'll excuse the term, because that is in fact the default destination. To avoid Hell, surrender the reigns to the true General, Jesus Christ. In battle, He is never vanquished.
General Butter
Fought no wars of significance
Made no decisions of consequence
Never led or raised the battle cry
Earned the Medal of Dishonor in '89
Melted in the pressure pot
Split like a cheap suit
when things got too hot
Your day is coming, ready or not
