VOICES
Everyday they were like recorded tapes
Inside my mind, they wore black capes
Capes of darkness, they'd tortured me
With their tail whips, I couldn't be free
They had broken down my inner walls
With their sledge hammer, I made a call
Call of distress, I was about to take a fall
In the cliff of oblivion, I tried to stand tall
I'd fallen down with my defeated knees
For they scattered around me like fleas
Inside my head, they never stop talking
Everyday they are always sabotaging
They had sabotaged my pathetic life
Their words cut my heart with a knife
A knife had weighted inside my chest
With stress by my side, I couldn't rest
These sleepless nights, I tried to breathe
In the moments I had wished for relief
Relief of satisfaction was all I ever need
For I needed a therapy book to read
To cool down my already chaotic mind
For the monsters I need to leave behind
Every night they had given me a fright
Crashing down my mind with their might
Every minute I tried to show my smile
They would be gone in hundred miles
I tried to shut them off with a switch
Yet I had enough for their playful glitch
In the end of the tunnel, I saw light
Past is past, I need to love myself right
Forgetting about them was my choice
This the last time I listen to their voices

A/N: Hi! This poem tells about me, dealing the voices in my head. Everyday they tortured me with their knives of sharp words that cause my mind and heart bleeding to stress and depression.
Especially, late at night. They couldn't let me rest actually. I fought hardly to get them out of my head. Finally, i left and didn't listen any word they say.
Moving on for the better was the best.
