There's a couple jokes and spoilers from the Runaways comic not tv show. I was a fan of the it and decided why not to include some of the best and iconic moments . also since s2 for runaways is a bit of a wait I'm borrowing from the comic its based on.

Every morning when he woke up with Nico had some what of a plan. He took up and volunteered for more jobs, and tasks at the Underground.  He wanted to do more then just aiding his sister with tasks such as gardening or attending combat class and learn more. He talked Lorna into letting him become sort of a student teacher during combat class. He could work on skills such as leadership or at least telling people what to do when things flying towards them.

He coached her friends mostly while Lorna precisely tossed projectiles towards the runaways.  Any observations or ideas he had was shared as advice and encouragement.  Today was no different but he hoped he really got through to them. Hopefully at least one thing he could say now would save their lives one day. He couldn't bear the thought of Nico forced to lose someone else she cared about. It was one of the more private reasons he wanted to do this and to be here for her friends.

" Karolina focus your power in small bursts like through your finger. Small enough for example to destroy a lock or annihilate the metal Lorna's tossing at you, but nothing blinding or damaging.  You gotta be careful with her.  And Molly save your strength, and try to sort of ration it out. Instead of breaking or pushing each you can just toss them back.  You'll need to save your stamina out in the field.  Gert you need to be faster while Old Lace is away, because something could happen. She can't be your protector and your crutch. Think about it, someday somebody could have a blade and you could be alone. Bleeding to death or something. "

" Chase you gotta fix the Fistigons or upgrade them. Their blasts are too unreliable. " Andy wasn't playing favorites for anybody.

" Nico be specific with your desires and your intent with the staff. You can't replicate what you did before then think of something equally or more effective. " Andy couldn't help but notice how Alex lingered in the back. Showing a look that was all too familiar with Andy.

Envy, powerlessness,  feeling inadequate with hunger for power and a mind people often underestimated.  Silently suffering and thinking without talents he could show show off. Just like Andy used to feel, except Alex actually had a better mind. Smarter and possibly manipulative,  but brilliant in a way. But overshadowed and without a role.

Andy heard from Nico how Alex tried to be a leader but it really didn't work out or really become a thing.

Andy could practically picture what would happen of someone didn't finally talk to him. He would turn on them in some way or try to get a little power some way or another. Most likely over them or in some other way.

Worst case and realistic scenario he would turn them in to authorities or to their parents. 

Andy had a very clear mental picture of the fate of the Runaways and Alex Wilder. The first chance he got he pulled Alex aside after combat class.

He talked for as long as he could. Reasoning,  confiding even hugging Alex.  He shared everything he could to try and prevent Alex's worst feelings and thoughts from consuming him.

Andy wished he had someone like that to speak to him back in high school. But it felt good to give someone at least a little bit similar a talk like this. 

When it was over Alex smiled. Promised he would start talking with the rest and a couple people at the Underground. Contribute in a different way and just figure himself out. Andy promised to hang out with Alex as soon as possible.

He and Alex returned their bunks as real friends. Andy enjoyed that night with Nico reading softly from their new books until Nico paused perplexed. 

" Why is the Church of Gibborim named after some six-fingered giants who where thought to have  ruled Earth before  the dawn of humanity?  Why is it based around these elder gods? "

Andy looked over hwr shoulder and continued reading." It says they habored a hatred yet manipulation of humanity.  Wanting to cleanse earth of it."
