I couldn't sleep. Just thinking about what happened gave me a case of insomnia. That's a problem because I might attack again. Lack of sleep leads to more need for chaos energy and that means more people get hurt. I got up and walked into my living room. He's sleeping. I'll just get some water and try to sleep. No good. I can't stop thinking about it. I grab a pencil and a piece of paper. 'Dear Shadow, I know you don't believe me and if I were in your shoes I wouldn't believe me either. I'm truly sorry if I upset you. I'm writing this because when you leave, I'm not going to be here. I'll be somewhere far away where I can't hurt anyone anymore. Please be well. Sincerely, (Y/n)' I lay my note on the coffee table and grab my hoodie. I'm not staying here if I'm going to hurt people.

(Shadow's P.O.V.)

I wake up to find a strange note beside me. I don't even bother to look at it. I don't have the time I have to return and give a report as to where I've been the past few weeks. I'll take it with me to look at later. An all too familiar voice greets me. "Welcome back, Shadow. Long time no see." "Nice to see nothing's changed." "So where have you been?" "I was recovering from an attack. Although, Now that I'm thinking about it, Rouge can you dig up any data on a (Y/N) (L/N)." She put her hand to her chin, "Hmm? (Y/N) (L/N)? Why that name?" "It was the name of the one who helped me." "I'll see what I can find." Hopefully, it'll be more than what Miss (L/N) told me.

(Reader's P.O.V.)

I'm in the middle of the woods. Maybe this is far enough away from civilization. At least now I won't hurt anyone, I think. I hope Shadow is doing well. He's probably returned to G.U.N.'s base by now. Maybe I'll find a cave to live in. Or a tree. A huge tree with a hollow bottom, It looks like a large burrow. This is perfect. My new home. Now to make it a little more homey.
