(Mischief's P.O.V.)

Shadow thinks he's so clever. I have to leave her alone but he never said anything about following her. So where are they going to now? A movie theater? I slip into a seat just behind them. My little (C/T) is wearing that little (F/C) dress she used to wear so long ago. It's been a long time since I saw her wear that. Ahh, distractions! I was too busy thinking about her outfit the movie ended and they already left. Where did they go?! I watch them exit a restaurant. So I missed seeing her eat. I was hoping to cause some mayhem to ruin it. Shadow can not have my little (C/T)! She belongs to me! I hide in a tree as they sit down on the bench. He's staring at her with sorrowful eyes. WAIT JUST A MINUTE! He did all this... SO HE COULD KISS HER! ABSOLUTELY NOT! THAT FIRST KISS IS MINE! As I'm leaning on the tree branch, it snaps sending me to the ground below. I land flat on my back. If I were a mortal the wind would've been knocked out of me. Thankfully I can recover from this little mistake easily. I sit up to see them both staring at me. I may not recover from this. "Misfortune! I thought we made a deal! Why are you here." The clearly angry black hedgehog using my fake name with a scowl on his face. I laugh, "You told me to leave my little (C/T) alone, you said nothing about stalking you." "Mischief..." I turn my head in surprise as the one to call my name is my little (C/T). "H-How did... you... know my name? Where did you come to learn my true name?" "Is that really your name?" She looks at me with gentle eyes. I take her hand in mine. "It sure is. How unexpected. You guessed my name and you didn't even know it. For that, I'm going to give you a little gift. Since Shadow says I'm not allowed to see you, consider this my goodbye present as well." I lean in and steal what's mine. Sorry Shadow.

(Reader's P.O.V.)

Mischief leans in and I feel his lips press against mine. I'm in too much shock to process what's happening that I'm frozen stiff. He pulls away laughing. "Sayonara, my love." He blows a kiss and vanishes. I'm very confused... Wait... Mischief just stole... my first kiss... "Are you alright (Y/N)?" "Huh? Oh... yeah, I'm fine... Just very confused. When we get home I want some answers." He nods and we leave the park. When we return home he gives me an update on the rules of the game including the lifeline. He has to kiss me. That only gives him an extra week and it's only the start of the game. Shadow wanted to give himself more time... why? "Shadow why did you need more time?" "I wanted some time to spend with you before I come up with a battle plan against Mischief." "You're calling him Mischief now?" "He confirmed it was his real name." "Hey, Shadow..." I'm a little nervous to do this but... I lightly peck his lips. "Mischief said you had to get a kiss from me right? He never said it had to be my first kiss." I smile at him. Hopefully, with this, he'll have one week to spend with me. We should make it count.
