TWENTY.   black out days

No matter how different she thought, Tatum was strong. She survived things that would break a person, especially a girl so young. Her only family died, leaving her a lonely fourteen year old girl. A girl so young that she fell in love with a boy that clouded her judgment until he started to hurt her. But she stayed strong. Even after losing a child, she stayed spirited. Never allowing herself to show her vulnerability, not even to those she'd known since childhood. She never sobbed or wailed. Her grief was horribly discreet but as persistent and almost as silent as bleeding from an unstitched wound.

Raven was her first girl friend. They grew up together before she and Finn started dating. They spent their entire girlhood together. Raven would come to her about Finn, about how in love she was. Tatum would cry to her about her father. She watched the relationship between Raven and Finn blossom for years.

Then he ruined it and just like those little girls they once were, Raven came crying to her. Her heart broken. And Tatum welcomed her with open arms because she loved her. Raven was her sister. But now that was ruined too.

Raven knew how she felt about Bellamy, but she only thought of herself. About her broken heart and how she could repair it. Her heart was destroyed by a boy who fell in love with someone else. Only she didn't think to consider how she would be taking a boy who was also in love with someone else.

"He's just a man, Tatum. A stupid man." She told herself while lying on her bed. She finished crying. Her face was splotched red. But he wasn't just a man. Tatum had cheated death on numerous occasions but Bellamy Blake was something she couldn't cheat.

Clarke and Finn still weren't back yet. They were planning a search party. Tatum excited her tent and met everyone outside.

"Take a weapon and a walkie-talkie to communicate.  They're probably wondering around." Bellamy ordered the camp of delinquents.

She took one of the radios and grabbed a machete from the weapons table.

"Tatum, you're—"

"I'm going alone."

He briefly glared. "Like hell you are."

She casted him a blank stare. "I think I can make that decision for myself, thank you." She sarcastically responded.

"Tatum, are you sure?" Asked Octavia.

She faked a tight smile. "I'll be fine, Via. If anyone tries messing me with they'll be getting a machete to the skull." She apprised and held up the weapon.

Monty blinked rapidly. "You are talking about grounders, right?"

She smiled wickedly. "Sure."

"Tatum, I don't think you should—"

Tatum cut him off. "We're wasting time people. Let's go!"

She marched off with the radio and weapon in her hands. Monty quickly followed her. Octavia stayed back with her brother. "What the hell did you do?"

He didn't respond. With a frustrated sigh, Bellamy stormed off into the dark forest.

Tatum kept the machete clutched tightly in her grip. She held the walkie talkie close in her other hand. She kept her eyes peeled for any sight of movement. "This reminds me of the time Monty, Jasper, and I were playing hide in seek in the dark and I got stuck in a supply closet." She muttered into the radio.

"How did you get stuck in a supply closet?" Octavia said back.

"Jasper locked me in it to scare me. I thought the broom was a dead body."

She heard Monty chuckle. "Oh yeah, I remember that.  That was great."

She raised it to her mouth again. "Yeah, until I ended up beating both of you with the broom."

They went quiet and every person lingered around the woods looking for Clarke and Raven. "I thought you said you were going west. Where are you?" Monty asked.

"Just keep the moon on your left shoulder and you'll find us." Bellamy replied. "Tatum, you okay?"

"Oh yeah, totally. I haven't punched anything yet so i'm good."  She replied bitterly.

"Are you being sarcastic cause your nervous?"

"You should know by now that I'm not."

Octavia furrowed her brows at the harshness of her voice. "Why is she so pissed off?"

Raven didn't respond. Instead, guilt ate her from the inside out.

"Raven?" She spoke oddly.

She sighed. "I kissed Bellamy." She admitted regretfully.

"You what?" Octavia exclaimed, earning a loud shush.

"It meant nothing and he didn't even want to!" Raven continued, a twinge of sadness in her voice. "She walked in his tent and saw us."

"So you kissed my brother and the guy that our best friend is in love with?"

"I'm not proud of it, okay?" She snapped. "I already feel shitty for doing it. It was an impulsive decision that I made. All this morning, all I could think about was how much easier this would all be if Finn was just. . . gone, and now I think I lost both of them because of it."

Octavia sighed. "You didn't wish this into being, Raven. Stop torturing yourself. But doing that to Tatum was wrong and she has every right to be pissed at both you and Bellamy." She said angrily. "But you also know her as well as I do. She's a forgiving person.  Maybe not right away but she is. Just talk to her."

Raven just sighed, knowing she was right.

Tatum whistled to herself while she walking through the woods. "Here I am, walking through the woods,  with a machete in my hand, ready to smash someone's head in." She sang to herself. Then she groaned under her breath. "I should've gone with Monty."

"Is anyone else hearing this signal?" Monty asked wearily into his walkie talkie.

"Just keep your eyes open." Raven responded.

"What do you hear, Monty?" Asked Tatum.

"I think it's the same thing we heard in the black box."

"Damn it, Monty. Pay attention." Bellamy snapped.

She scoffed at their attitudes. "Monty, what do you see?"

She didn't get an answer.

"Report." Bellamy ordered.

They waited for an answer until suddenly, static came through the radios. Tatum removed it from her ear and furrowed her brows.

"There's someone in the bushes." Raven reported in a hush tone.

She immediately lifted her machete up and paused,  blue eyes scanning the numerous bushes. She walked forward slowly in the direction where Octavia and Raven were. She found them and Bellamy surrounding one of the bushes.

When she got close enough, she looked between them to see Myles lying on the ground. "Myles?" She questioned with concern, gaining their attention.

Octavia quickly fell to her knees by him. "Myles, where are they? Clarke and Finn, where are they?" She frantically asked.

The young boy groaned in pain. "Grounders took them."

They all went stiff in fear. Tatum noticed that he had arrows sticking out of his shoulder and leg. "Okay Myles, take it easy," she assured and looked at the others. "We have to get him back to camp."

"What about Clarke and Finn?" Said Octavia.

They went quiet at her question. Raven stood up silently, thinking about Finn still being out there. "We need to make a stretcher." She proclaimed.

Tatum ignored them and moved to other side of Myles.  "Hey there, pip squeak. We're going to take care of you,  okay?" She reassured calmly.

"It hurts." He cried in pain.

"Believe me, I know. I got a knife to the stomach."

"Monty, we're heading home. You copy?" Bellamy reported into the radio. When he didn't get a response,  he clicked it on again. "Monty, can you hear me?" He asked once more.

"Why is he not answering?" Said Tatum. She didn't wait for an answer and turned her radio on. "Monty?  Monty, can you hear me?" She said frantically. There was still no answer and she began to panic. "Hey soldier, talk to me." She spoke and her voice wavered.

"Monty, where the hell are you?" Bellamy said again into his radio.

"Don't panic, Tatum." Octavia spoke when she saw Tatum's face.

"How can I not panic?" She shakily said, her eyes now wide.

"We have to get Myles back to camp." Raven reminded them.

"I need to find Monty."

"Tatum, we don't know where he is." Bellamy replied in a calm tone.

"That's why I need to find him!" She snapped, her voice still wavering.

Octavia stood up and grabbed her shoulders. "Tate,  listen, we already don't know where Clarke and Finn are and now Monty too. We can't risk you going missing too."

Tatum shook her head rapidly. "No, he can't be missing. Not him."

Bellamy put his hand on her back. "Tatum—"

She shrugged him off. "No! I can't lose him, okay? I already thought I lost Jasper. I can't lose him, too!" She nearly yelled and her eyes filled with tears.

"Hey, listen to me," he said and put his hand on her back again. "We'll find him, okay? He can't be far from here. But we have to get Myles back. He'll die if we don't."

Tatum glanced at him for a split second. She still couldn't bring herself to look at him just yet. But she reluctantly nodded, knowing he was right. She walked away to help Myles off the ground.

Back at camp, the delinquents were working on getting the foxholes built. Barely anyone had slept in the last few days and it was starting to show. Jasper returned to camp and Tatum was staying by his side at all times.  Partly because Monty was missing and they only had each other, and the other part was she missed him.

"Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves," Bellamy ordered as he walked around the camp. "Better hope those landmines work. All the gun powder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades."

"Why don't you test one then." Tatum bitterly muttered.

Even though her back was turned, Bellamy still shot her a sarcastic look. "Cute," he responded with an eye roll. He looked down at Raven. "I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field."

He walked away and Raven quickly stood up. "Hey,"  she called out. "I told you, we're going after Finn,  Clarke, and Monty in the morning." She reminded him.

"And I told you nobody leaves this camp."

"Our friends are out there," said Tatum and she marched towards them. "We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them, show them you give a damn." She lectured in anger.

His velvet eyes locked with hers. It was the first actual conversation she made with him since what happened in his tent. Before he could reply, a gunshot went off in the air causing everyone to duck down.

"Whoa, what the hell was that?" Shouted one of the campers.

Bellamy made him way up the hill to the boy on watch. He accidentally fired the gun. "Hey, what the hell is the matter with you?" He yelled at him.

"I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day." The boy quickly apologized.

He shoved him roughly. "We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead grounder."

Tatum watched with nerves at how angry he was getting. It was clear that he was stressed out.

"Bell, you're scaring people." Octavia informed her brother.

"They should be scared! The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up!  The grounders are out there right now waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do." He shouted to everyone in camp. "Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone. Probably dead,"

Tatum instantly shook her head. "Don't say that,  Bellamy."

He turned to her. "It's true, Tatum. Whether you want to believe it or not. And if you want to be next, I can't stop you. But no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive!" His voice started cracking at the end.

Everyone stood silently as they took in his words. Some grew sad at the thought of their people still being in the forest while others were sad at the thought of dying. Tatum could feel Jasper growing upset. "Okay, go back to your knitting! Get back to work!" She shouted at everyone with a sneer.

They listened to her and continued on with their jobs. She glanced up at Jasper and grabbed his arm. "Hey, don't be upset. We'll find him, I promise."

He nodded lightly and gave her a tight smile. "I'm just really tired of being afraid of losing you guys."

She hugged his torso. "I'm not going anywhere, Jaz. They'll have to kill me."

He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and snorted. "Yeah, they've tried that. Many times."

It made her laugh.

Tatum was on the drop ship alone with Myles. She tended to his injury. She was able to remove the arrows from his body and it left him in a lot of pain. "I'm sorry, Myles." She muttered and wiped a wet cloth on his head.

Bellamy walked onto the drop ship. Her back was turned to him and she looked over her shoulder upon hearing someone. When she saw that it was him, she turned back to Myles. Her black hair fell into a mess down her back, cascading like a waterfall. Bellamy walked over to the model of the camp and started moving pieces around. The silence was extremely uncomfortable and he couldn't take it anymore. "Will you please talk to me?" He blurted out like an itch that took over his body.

"I've been talking." She answered with her back still turned to him.

"I mean really talk to me," he continued and turned around so that he was looking at her. "Like stare at me in the eye and talk to me without being sarcastic."

"I'm always sarcastic."

"Yeah, well usually I love it but this time it's really irritating." He said out of annoyance. When he didn't get a response, he heavily sighed. "Tatum, please!"

Tatum stood up and whirled around. "What do you want me to say, Bellamy?" She snapped and glared at him.

"I want you to say you're not mad at me. I want you to say you forgive me so that we can go back to the way things were before." He rambled in one quick breath.

"Well I'm sorry if I can't do that right now!" She yelled with a red face. "I'm sorry if I can't get the image of my best friend and the boy I love kissing with her clothes off. Sorry it's so hard for me to trust you considering what I went through in my old relationship. Remember that?" Tears of anger and irritation formed in her eyes. "I know you say it wasn't your fault and that Raven kissed you but I can't get it out of my head—" she pointed at her temples. "It replays over and over again like a bomb that's ticking and about to explode. It's fucking exhausting!"

Bellamy held in a breath. She went back to tending to Myles, her hands shaking in anger. "I love you." He told her.

She closed her eyes tightly, feeling her lip quiver. She didn't say it back. She couldn't no matter how much she wanted to. It was so hard.

Jasper came into the room. Myles groaned in pain again. Tatum wiped his sweaty forehead again. He walked past Bellamy without saying a word. His anger was clear as well. "Don't you think I want to go after them, too?"

"If it was you out there, you think Monty, Clarke, or Finn would hide behind these walls? You think they would if it was Tate?" Jasper insisted in a calm voice.

"No, they'd go after me or her then they'd be dead, too." Said Bellamy. "I'm doing what I think is right for the group."

"It's funny, you didn't think that when Octavia went missing."

Bellamy watched him turn around to leave. "Where are you going?" He called out.

Jasper paused. "More gunpowder for your minefield. . . sir." He mocked and fake saluted him.

"Jasper." Tatum warned him.

He ignored her and climbed up the ladder to the second floor. She sighed heavily, all the arguing giving her a headache.

"Water. . . please." Myles croaked.

Tatum began to get up. "Hey, i'll get it. Don't worry." Bellamy insisted.

She pursed her lips and pointed to the ladder. "I should go calm him down."

He nodded and she climb up the ladder to the second floor where Jasper was. She found him pouring a metal tin of gunpowder into a tub. "Hey soldier." She made herself present.

Jasper looked over his shoulder. "I didn't mean to bring you up down there." He apologized.

She waved him off. "Don't worry about it. . . but Bellamy's trying his best, Jaz. I promise he is. We're going to find them. Find him." She promised.

His face fell. "I'm just really scared we're not."

Tatum frowned and tugged on his arm, pulling him into her. She wrapped her arms around his neck despite his tall frame and leaned up, kissing his cheek. "Just don't give up, okay?" She whispered in his ear.

"Okay." He whispered back.

"That's my boy. Now come on, let's go back down."

Jasper grabbed the tub of gunpowder and the two made their way down the ladder. When they got half way down, Tatum saw Murphy standing over Myles with a plastic bag in his hand and the young boy was not moving. When she realized, she let out a loud gasp.

Murphy turned and looked at them alarmingly. "H-He stopped breathing. I was—I was trying to help him." He stuttered.

She looked up at Jasper and he looked down at her.  She could see in his eyes that he was telling her to remain calm. She hopped down from the ladder and let him climb down. His dark eyes glanced at the rifle that was sitting on the table.

Murphy followed his gaze and charged at the rifle before Jasper could. When he got it, he cocked it back and Tatum and Jasper froze. "Murphy, don't." She muttered.

"Murphy, just put the gun down." Jasper whispered.

He stared at them intensely. He glanced back at Myles and then back to them again. "H-He tried to kill me." He stuttered again spitefully.

Jasper reached back for Tatum's arm and began backing both of them to the exit. Murphy raised the gun. "Hey, don't move." He warned them.

"Okay, okay," he cooperated and held his hand up. He pushed the girl behind him. "It's cool."

A sinister smirk appeared on Murphy's face. "No, it's not. You know what will happen to me if you tell Bellamy."

"We won't let anything happen to you, John." Tatum assured him. Her voice was shaking.

"Tell Bellamy what?" The man's voice said into the walkie-talkie.

All three of them froze and Jasper shut his eyes,  realizing he still had the radio in his pocket. Murphy's gaze darkened. "Give me the radio, Jasper." He demanded.

He slowly took the radio out of his pocket before holding it to his mouth. "Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles—"

Murphy clocked Jasper across the face with the rifle.  "NO!" Shouted Tatum.

"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy demanded into the radio.

He quickly ran to lower the drop ship door and Tatum dropped to her knees by Jasper. "Jasper, can you hear me?"  She grabbed his face and tapped his cheeks to try and wake him up.

"Murphy! Murphy! Open the damn door!"

"You try to be a hero, Jasper and Tatum die!" Shouted Murphy.

"Murphy, please!" She pleaded.

He looked at her through heavy breaths,  contemplating on what to do. He rushed up to her and grabbed her arm. "I didn't want to have to do this,  Tate." He spoke and threw her into one of the chairs. He began to tie rope around her.

Tatum didn't have time for process what was happening. "J-John, don't do this. Please." She begged and her eyes glistened with scared tears.

"I don't have a choice, Tatum."

"What the hell are you talking about? You were fine.  Everything was going so well." Her heart beat started to quicken the tighter he made the knots.

"You really thought was going to live in peace with these people after what they tried to do to me?"  Murphy laughed in disbelief. "Come on now, Tatum,  you're not stupid."

The tears started to fall. "Please don't do this." She pleaded again and her voice cracked.

He was no longer that little boy who used to sleep on her bedroom floor. "Sorry, Tater." He spoke blankly.

Morning came and Murphy still had Tatum and Jasper held hostage. Bellamy stood by the door and he was shaking with anger. He tried to hide his emotions to insure everyone that it was going to be okay but on the inside, he was breaking and he was scared. Octavia quickly ran over to the drop ship. "I just heard Murphy has Tate and Jasper."

Bellamy nodded. "Yeah. South foxhole done?" He questioned nonchalantly.

She furrowed her brows. "What? Bellamy, my friends are in there with a killer."

"O, look around. No one's working," he informed. "If the grounders attack us right now, we're all dead."

But Octavia ignored him and ran toward the door. "Murphy! Murphy, if you even touch Jasper or Tatum, I swear to god, you're dead!" She shouted in pure anger.

Bellamy reached forward and grabbed her arm. "Octavia, I got this—"

"Really? Because it doesn't look like you're doing anything about it." She snapped.

Raven cut into their conversation. "Bellamy, you were right. There's a loose panel on the back. If we can pop it, we can get through the floor." She told him breathlessly.

He gave her a firm nod, not willing to continue talking. Things between them were still rocky. "Good. Do it."

She quickly nodded and left. Octavia stared at him awkwardly. "Sorry." She whispered.

Bellamy huffed and held up his radio. "Murphy, I know you can hear me."

From inside the drop ship, Murphy had tied a belt around Tatum's mouth so she couldn't scream. Her hands were tied behind her back on the chair and she jerked around trying to get out. Blood trailed down her forehead and to her cheek where Murphy had hit her on the head with the butt of the rifle.

"All our ammo and food is in the middle level. You know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."

Murphy grabbed the walkie-talkie. "Yeah, well, in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now." He sneered.

"Come on, Murphy," Bellamy continued. "You don't want to hurt Jasper and you especially don't want to hurt Tatum. You want to hurt me."

He glanced at his hostages and both of them stared at him with tears in their eyes.

"So what do you say? How about trade them for me?"

"No." Tatum objected into her gag and shook her head vigorously.

"All you have to do is let them go and i'll take their place."

Murphy glanced at them both while thinking. Jasper stared at him in complete fear while Tatum just simply stared at him. It was a look she gave him when he was doing something stupid. He smirked and held up the walkie-talkie. "How?" He asked evilly.

"Bellamy, if you do this he'll kill you." Octavia muttered.

Bellamy looked at her. "If I don't, he'll kill Jasper and Tatum." He licked his lips and turned the radio back on. "Simple. You open the door, I walk in, they walk out." He negotiated.

Once again, Murphy went quiet and stared at the hostages. His fingers tapped the back of the radio as he contemplated a decision. The best friends looked at each other. After a quiet moment, he untied Jasper and took the gag off of him. He grabbed him roughly and pulled him out of the chair. "Let's go, big boy."

"No, no, he said both of us!" Jasper objected when he didn't untie Tatum.

More tears began to fill in her eyes.

Murphy dragged him to the entrance of the drop ship that had a tarp covering it. "No, Murphy, let her go!"

Tatum shook her head rapidly and mumbled something into the gag. The look on her face told him that everything would be okay.

"Just you Bellamy. Unarmed!" Murphy screamed. "Ten seconds or i'll put a bullet in Jasper and Tatum's leg!"

He started counting down and Bellamy ordered everyone to put their guns down. He stood at the edge of the door. "I'm here!" He announced.

At the same time, he entered the drop ship as Murphy threw a tied up Jasper onto outside ground. When he walked inside, his eyes landed on Tatum who was still tied up and gaged. Blood stained her face. Bellamy turned to Murphy and his face darkened. "I said both of them!" He fumed.

He only smirked. "Yeah, well, I have other plans."

"I give you an order, you follow it, right?"

"Who's the one holding the gun?" He questioned. "Now, take that rope and start tying."

His eyes glanced back at Tatum. "Murphy, just let her go. She has nothing to do with this."

Murphy turned around and pointed the rifle at her, shooting a bullet at the wall above her head. She screamed through the gag.

"Murphy!"

"That's good, now do what I said!"

"Bellamy?" Octavia shouted through the radio. "Bellamy! Are you okay?"

"You want her to know you're alive? Start tying." Murphy demanded again.

"Bellamy! Do you copy?"

"I'm fine. Just a misfire." Bellamy assured his sister and got on his knees. "Now stop worrying about me and get back to work." He ordered.

From outside, Octavia sighed in relief. "Where's Tatum?"

"She's still on the drop ship. Don't worry, she's okay."

Murphy smirked again. "For now."

Bellamy casted him a killer glare. "And tell Raven to hurry her ass up!"

"All right, that's long enough," he insisted and put the radio away. He pointed to the ropes. "Tie those two ends together." He heard the sound of whines and looked over his shoulder at the hostage struggling in the chair. "Quiet, you." He snapped at her.

Tatum sent him a sarcastic look.

"Jesus, even tied up you're sarcastic." He muttered. He turned back to Bellamy. "All right, now get up and toss it over."

Bellamy looked at him and then glanced up before a look of realization crossed his face. He wanted him to hang himself. The man stood up and flung the rope over. "What do you want me to say?" He questioned. "You want me to apologize? I'm—"

Murphy raised the gun higher. They could hear Tatum crying from behind them.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, okay?" He apologized before he pointed to the girl. "But she had nothing to do with this. She begged for us not to do it but we didn't listen. She shouldn't have to suffer through this!"

Murphy continuously shook his head. "You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then. . ." He paused and an evil look glistened in his eyes. "Then I want you to die."

An agonizing cry of protest came from Tatum as she fight against the chair. Hearing it, Murphy pointed the gun at her again. "And as for her?" He spoke and glared at the man. "She has everything to do with this."

Bellamy slowly looked at the newly made noose that hung in the air. He shook his head. "Don't make her watch." He nearly pleaded but he kept his voice dark.

"Why not? You made her watch me. Why are you any different?" He sneered. "You love to act like you're so entitled over her when you forget i've known her way longer than you have."

The tears began to sting her eyes and she breathed heavily. The gag was starting to cut off her circulation and she couldn't breathe.

"At least take the gag off of her! She can't breathe." Bellamy snapped when he saw how hard she was struggling.

Murphy smirked. "Great idea." He stated. He walked over to her and took the gag off of her mouth.

Tatum inhaled deep breaths and felt the air creep back into her lungs. She glared at Murphy with a teary and bloody face. "I'm going to kill you." She seethed.

He smirked again. "Always so cheerful, aren't you, Tater?" He mocked.

If she wasn't tied up, she would have lunged at him.

Murphy went to the other side of the room to grab a stool. Tatum quickly looked at Bellamy and shook her head, telling him not to listen to him. He just gave her a look that insisted he had it handled.

Murphy dragged the stool toward Bellamy, right under the noose. "Stand on it." He ordered.

He stared at him darkly before he hesitantly climbed on the stool.

"Put it over your head."

"No!" Tatum cried. "Please no."

"Shut up."

Bellamy's face started to fall. "This is insane. The grounders could—"

Another shot of the gun went off in Tatum's direction. This time, her screams were audible and loud. "The next one goes through her." Murphy shouted. "Put it over your head."

Bellamy's velvet eyes widened. Not wanting Murphy to go through with his threat, he quickly out the noose over his head. "Happy now?" He jeered.

"God, is her sarcasm rubbing off on you or are you two just that perfect for each other?" Murphy taunted him. He then chuckled. "Well, you would have been if you didn't go off and make out with Raven." He grabbed ahold of the rope and pulled it so it tightened around Bellamy's neck, making the man fume.

"Murphy, please, why are you doing this?" Tatum cried again.

"There's a lot of reasons why, Tate." He responded. He looked at Bellamy again. "You're so brave, aren't you? I mean, you came in here thinking you're just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy?" When he didn't answer, Murphy tugged on the rope again, making it tightened around Bellamy's neck to the point he was on his tip toes.

"Just stop!" The girl screamed through the tears.

"You think you could come down here and start taking everything from me?" He continued to taunt him. "Took away my rights, took away my friends, and you took away the one girl who has been there for me my entire life."

Tatum blinked at his words. "Murphy, what are you talking about? He didn't take me away from you." She voiced.

He spun around and glared at her. "Bullshit," he hissed and looked between her and Bellamy. "Do you have any idea what it's like to watch someone take away the one thing you love? To have the person you love fall for someone that's not you?"

Her heart dropped drastically. She gasped. Murphy wasn't just doing this for revenge for what they did to him, he wanted revenge on Bellamy for taking her from him because he loved her. He had always loved her but she was in love with Bellamy.
