(Hey, this is my first skz fanfic n am writing this just for fun, so the storyline is not that serious, still I hope that I will be able create something that ya'll will like reading.
Also this isn't a ship story, sure there will be a heck load of fruity moments, like it's stray kids, who am I kidding? But there won't be any serious ships<3) Enjoy!

It was just another day at JYP except that it was already 10:30 at night and the members of skz were still practicing for an upcoming MV.
They were the only ones in the practice room and most parts of the company had already gotten quiet with almost everyone either having retired to their dorms or left the building premises altogether.

Everything was seemingly normal, that is, until Seungmin came in running and slammed the door behind him. He was out of breath and contrast to his usual sort of calm demeanor, he was looking terrified almost in a frenzy.

"What happened?" Chan asked worriedly. He had always been the first one to look out for his members, and seeing him in the state worried Chan endlessly.

"Th-Th-There are monst-zombies everywhere. I-I was in the cafeteria when they suddenly started attacking everyone, I-I immediately ran up to the room before they could see me" He said while slowly gaining back his normal breathing rate.

"Oh?! IS IT TRUE?!" Han exclaimed and without thinking twice started walking towards the door but was stopped by Changbin who grabbed the hood of this hoodie thus preventing him from opening the door and potentially starting his own version of Alice in Zombieland.

"Do not dare to open that door" Chan said in a calm voice respecting seungmin's testimony even though he was finding it hard to believe.

"Oh? He's telling the truth!" I.N hopped into the conversation, showing Chan the recent news of the zombie attack.

"How did you manage to bring that phone in?!" Changbin was perplexed, but lowkey impressed at his sleekness.

They had their phones taken away because of practice but I.N somehow had succeeded in smuggling one in simply because Changbin had put forth a challenge infront of him the previous day.
The young-adult boy could go to any extent to win the bets, 'maybe he's just in his rebellious phase'-was what all the members always said before discarding his actions and letting him go.

"You would've gotten killed already if you were not the maknae" Lee Know glared at him.

"I would have not attempted any such thing if I was not the maknae." I.N smiled cheekily at Lee Know. He was smart enough to know his limits and how much he could push them with the help of his maknae status and that was how he had managed to dodge the rage of all the members up until the point.

"Stop arguing you two-" Chan intervened and went on to instruct them about their next course of action but was interrupted by a loud thud in the hallway followed by a number of inhumane sounds. The footsteps sounded hurried and within a second they all instinctively knew that they could no longer use the front door to go out.

"Everyone! Stay together! We will find a way out of here" Chan whispered to refrain himself from being heard by the entities covering their front door since he had already heard how zombies were attracted to sounds from different movie and series.

"Channie hyung, hyunjin is missing" Felix said first stressing on Chan's name then monotonously delivering the major information.

"Where is he?!" Chan was about to go around to look for him but Han did the work instead.

"He's in the toilet, he just sent me a streak of him with the caption 'wanna join?' " He said making Lee Know barf.

"Why is he sending you his toilet photos?" Seungmin side-eyed him.

"DID EVERYONE BRING THEIR DAMNED PHONES IN?!" Changin remarked in hysteria but everyone was too busy in their own rants to listen to anyone else.

"EVERYONE SILENT!" Chan whisper screamed.

"LISTEN TO MY MONEY TALK!" Felix unleashed his material girl dance steps but stopped after seeing Chan who looked like he was just a step away from turning them into real 'stray kids'.

After seeing all this, Chan was somewhat concerned regarding their survival in such a situation.

"No one will argue until we get Hyunjin back" He said ordering the members to remain silent.

"Then can we argue after that?" Leeknow jumped in earning a glare from Chan causing him to retrace his steps.

"I guess not" He mouthed as he went back to stand in the side-by-side line that everyone had created after Chan ordered them to.

They all went towards the washroom that was present behind the practice room. There was a store room in the back to which the washroom was connected and after entering the room, they locked the door leading to the practice room just in case the zombies were to break in, in their absence.

"Hyunjinnie come out!" Lee know banged on the door.

"NO!" He banged the door back.

"What do you mean no?!! Come out or I'll break the door!" He threatened him dramatically.

"I had no idea that you wanted to see me sh*tting so much!!" He teased him making Felix chuckle.

"What a sh*tty story!" He remarked.

Meanwhile Chan was facepalming himself seeing the clownery unfold infront of him.
No longer being able to just stand on the sidewalk and watch the kids do as they please, Chan intervened to put an end to the never-ending argument.

"Hyunjinnie come out fast, we are facing a crisis as of now and we need to get out of here as fast as possible. So make it quick!" Chan instructed him making him give in to it almost instantly.

"You don't listen when I say it but give in immediately when Chan hyung says the same thing?" Lee know asked the rhetorical question grudgingly.

"Well because Chan hyung doesn't stuff my mouth with fu*king tissues!" He said in an exaggerated tone.

"Come here you brat I'll stuff it with hand sanitizer this time!" He got into his fight mode but was stopped by Han before he could turn SKZ into a 7 membered group.

"Can you two please not fight for a while?" Chan looked almost done with his babysitting duties. With all the chaos, he was finding it difficult to come up with a good solution to counter the whole situation.

"How about we just leave him behind?" Leeknow suggested but was held back by IN.

"Leeknow hyung no-" He kept his hand on Lee Know's shoulder to calm him down.

Within three minutes or so, Hyunjin was finally out and the rejoined the group.

"Ok first let's try to check the situation outside and see if we can leave from anywhere, ok?" Chan explained everyone the preliminary plan before planning the whole escape.

"Why can't we just stay here? Do we need to really leave?" Seungmin pouted. He did not have even the least bit of interest in witnessing the horrid scenes again but had to let go of his sulkiness after being convinced by Chan.

"We need to. There's no food or anything in here. So we have to get out and get to a safe place before the whole city gets turned into a huge burial site." Chan was worried about everyone but he knew that he couldn't save everyone in the city even if he wanted to.
The same situation was with all the other members as well, even though they all were internally panicking out of extreme worry for their own lives and the lives of their loved ones, they were using humour as a getaway to keep themselves calm and sane in the unexpected situation.
