Prof. Jeong did as promised. He was accompanying Beomgyu to meet his parents. It has been a week since the school went into preparations for Parent' Day. "What is your elemental power Prof. Jeong?" The answer given was unexpected. "Ah, I am a fire elemental. Why do you ask ?"

Beomgyu sighed. "You never disclosed it. I just found it odd." He wasn't wrong. Prof. Jeong had a secretive aura about himself. Like he didn't want to give too much away. "Don't dwell on the things I withhold. I'll explain everything soon."

It wasn't long before they crossed Ghastwell' entrance gate. "엄마만 그래요? 아빠는? 범영이는?" (Is it just you, mom ? Where is dad ? And Beomyeong ?) Beomyeong was Beomgyu' younger sister. His mother petted his hair. "I haven't been completely honest..."

Prof. Jeong walked off a little to give them their privacy. "What haven't you been honest about mom ?" His mother conjured a faint green glow in the palms of her hands. She had earth elemental power. "I think it is time I came home. Your father & beomyeong can't join us. For neither of them have magical power."

Beomgyu teared up. "Can we appeal to the Council of Elementals ? We shouldn't be split apart because you married dad." His mother wiped his tears. "Are you happy here ? Have you made friends ?"

His mother was no doubt deflecting. "It has been going well so far. Why can't you enter Ghastwell if you have an elemental power ?" She sighed, "나는 마법의 존재로서의 시민권을 포기했다. 나는 선택을 해야만 했다. 아버지와 함께 하거나 후회하며 혼자 살거나 둘 중 하나죠." (I renounced my citizenship as a magical being. I had to make a choice. It was either be with your father, or live for myself with regrets.)

Beomgyu understood his mother, but he wasn't willing to hear excuses. She let him believe his power was given randomly. He called over a Kittis. "How may I be of service ?" He pointed at his mother. "Please show her to the realms border safely." His mother was shocked, "정말 날 보내는 거야, 범규아?" (Are you really sending me away, beomgyu-ah ?)

Beomgyu didn't spare her an answer as the Kittis followed his command. Prof. Jeong lead him back into Ghastwell.
