This is the beginning...

Where it all began. All magic is broken down by the elements. The elements were Earth, Air, Water, & Fire.

Ghastwell Academy is a prestigious school where people who have magic would learn to harness their elemental power. Magic either manifests after birth or suddenly manifests in non-magical beings.

However, it was rare to have an element outside of your family. Soobin' family all had earth elemental magic.

All magical beings are supposed to register to the Council Of Elements, or the C.O.E. for short. From there you wait for an acceptance letter. Once accepted you move onto campus once you take your placement test.

Soobin had just come home. On instinct he checked the mail. No one was home like usual. Soobin checked through stopping when he had seen a crisply clean envelope with the Ghastwell Academy seal.

He put the other mail aside to open the envelope. It was as follows:

This is a formal letter to announce you've been accepted into Ghastwell Academy. We urge you to attended orientation for your placement test.

Soobin headed up to his room to start packing some things. His mother knocked on my door. "내일 배웅해 드리겠습니다. 좀 어떻세요?" (I will send you off tomorrow. How are you feeling ?) He sighed, "긴장하다. 실망시키고 싶지 않아요." (Nervous. I don't want to let you down.)

His mother gave a small smile. "You're my son, Soobin. Nothing could disappoint me." Soobin looked at all of the Earth magic paraphernalia around my room, "So if I end up with a different elemental magic, you won't be disappointed ?" He knew the answer, but still wanted to hear her say it. "Don't stress yourself out with that. You need to keep your focus."

He knew his family loved him. Yet he hoped they did at least. He finished my packing & got some rest.
