I glared at Shredder. He had chained me to the floor, so I couldn't do much. My dress was torn and dirty. My left ankle throbbed in pain, but I didn't care. 

"You'll never break me," I shouted at him.

"Yes I will, and you will be nothing more than a puppet that I will use to destroy Hamato Yoshi once and for all," He said.

"The ninja will stop you,"

"You mean those weak children in bright colors? They will fail,"

"You don't know them like I do,"

"Really, then why haven't they come to save you?"

That question broke something in me. Why hadn't they come yet? Cole had heard me, I knew that.

"I don't know," I admitted.

"They don't care about you. You're a stranger, from a strange place. They don't even know who you are," Shredder said and walked away.

I tried to hold myself together but I just couldn't any more. I wanted my family, my brothers, to come and save me. To help me fight the Shredder. I thought about what I had gone through with my brothers, what made us family.

The ninja and I barely knew each other. We didn't have the same ties as I did with my brothers and sister. The Shredder was right, they wouldn't come for me.

"I will not give up hope again," I shouted at the top of my lungs.

I wasn't about to give up who I was, just because someone told me something.

"I am a ninja and Ninja Never Quit," I shouted.
