*Naruko's pov* -a two year time skip because I'm evil and you all love me!-

"Caw." I look up to see a crow landing  close by. I walk over and pick up the message and give it a treat.

"Thank you Rok." I say, he's one of my common summonings. I open the message. "Rin's coming over." I muse walking back towards the house. "Hey, guys! Rin's coming over!"

"When?" Obito-Sensei asks happily.

"Should be here in an hour or so." I reply shrugging.

"So does this mean we can skip training today?" Udyan asks poking his head out of the kitchen. I glance at him. It's been two years since we left. Everyone thinks we're dead, and we've done yell at keeping low.

"I suppose." Obito-Sensei says light heartedly.

"Cha! Selena let's go into town!" Udyan yells happily.

"Is that a question or a demand?" She asks laughing.

"Both?" He questions laughing also.

"Alright." She laughs.

"You two be careful." Obito-Sensei says smiling at them.

"We will." They say walking away.

"I'm going to my room and sleeping then." I say as I walk upstairs.

"Alright. Rin and I will be here." He says. I nod and walk into my room. It was Orange, Red and Black. There's some blue, like my bed sheets my dressers a mix of everything and my walls have the Uzumaki, Namikaze symbols on them. I have a picture of Sasuke and I on my night stand, a picture of the team when we first got together and a picture of team five and seven together on my dresser.

I laid on my bed holding the picture of Sasuke and I. I sighed sadly and slowly drifted off into a nightmare. Typical. When I woke up I heard screaming. I ran to the window and looked outside. A few people were attacking the village. Rin lay on the ground bleeding. Obito-Sensei looked deranged. Selena and Udyan lay on the group too and from the looks possibly dead. My eyes widened.

"No..." I caught a glimpse of an Akatsuki cloak and an orange swirly mask coming my way. I grabbed all my documents and sealed them away with my crows. I took off out the back and ran as fast as I could. I didn't have time to check to see if anyone was okay.

"Heh, caught you nine tails brat." The swirly masked man said as he latched onto my arm. I struggled to get away but I couldn't get out of his grip.

"How did you know?" I ask wide eyed.

"Because, I'm the reason the nine tails attacked the village the night you were born. You see, you don't even have half of the power of Kurama. You only have a tenth. Not very much but it's enough." He laughs as he pins me to a tree swiftly and begins to break my seal.

"AHH!" I scream out in pain. "ST-STOP!" I yell panting. This goes on for an hour before my seal breaks and he seals Kurama in himself. My consciousness begins to fade as he unpins me and leaves me to die. I stand up with what little strength I have left and with what chakra I have left I teleport directly in front of Orochimaru, Sasuke and Kabuto.

"Naruko?" Sasuke asks confused. I collapse but he catches me.

"Her seals been broken." Kabuto says after checking my wounds. "She's going to die. What should we do Lord Orochimaru?" He asks.

"Sssave her of courssse. I owe her." Orochimaru hisses. "Sasuke carry her, lets hurry back." Orochimaru orders.

"Hang in there Naruko." Sasuke mutters picking me up completely. I groan in pain as he lifts me up.

"Careful." Kabuto says glaring.

"Sh-Shut up Ka-Kabuto." I say panting.

"Good you can sstill sspeak. Can you tell me what happened?" Orochimaru asks.

"Aka-Akatsuki." I say before screaming out in pain as my stomach burns. My head pounds and my vision blurs.

*Sasuke's pov*

"What's wrong with her?" I ask as she screams. My grip on her tightens slightly. Where's Selena and Udyan? I wonder concerned.

"Kurama was taken out of her. She should have been dead by now. This is her body fighting her soul." Kabuto explains.

"We need to get back to a bassse or we'll lossse her." Orochimaru hiss glancing at her slightly.

"Isn't there anything you can do?" I ask annoyed.

"No. She hasss to fight it alone. Don't worry sssso much Sasssuke. If she diessss then thissss world diessss." He hisses with a smirk.

"What do you mean?" I narrow my eyes.

"He means, Naruko is the Child of Fate. Chosen by the oracle to gain the power to change everyone's fate if she chooses. If she dies then we all die. Lord Orochimaru won't let her die but, she has to fight for her life." Kabuto explains. I nod understanding. We get back to the base Karin is in charge of.

"Lord Orochimaru!" Karin says surprised while bowing. "What can I do for you today?" She asks. He steps aside showing me holding Naruko. "Who's that? What happened?" She asks rushing over to me.

"Naruko Uzumaki, The part of the nine tails that was inside of her was extracted. She's still alive, but barely. We need to hook her up and give her oxygen." Kabuto states.

"We need to operate on her. She's got a major blow to the head, and fractured rib and internal bleeding!" Karin yells.

"We cannot interfere. She will make it through. When she wakessss up if shessss not already healed then you can operate." Orochimaru says glaring.

"Yes sir." She says looking away. "Let me take her Sasuke." She tries to take her from me but my grip tightens.

"Sasssuke." I reluctantly let Karin take Naruko. "Don't worry." I nod silently as I glare at the wall.

-time skip-
*Naruko's pov*

I heard a faint beeping noise. I tried to open my eyes but couldn't. I tried again, and again, and again until finally they flew open only to close again. The light was so bright I groaned and lifted a hand over my face. That's when I noticed I had an oxygen mask around my face.

"I see your awake. How are you feeling?" I look to see a red haired girl, she looked like a pure Uzumaki like mom.

"Like utter shit." I say taking the mask off. "What happened?" I ask.

"I'll get Lord Orochimaru to answer your questions in a minute. Can you wiggle your fingers?" I do. "Alright, I'll help you sit up then I'll listen to your heart." She helps me sit up and puts a cold stethoscope on my chest. The only thing on me was a wrapping. "Deep breath, in and out." I do as told. "Alright, I'll go get Lord Orochimaru for you."

"Hey, what's your name?" I ask curiously.

"Karin." She says turning to look at me. I nod.

"Thank you Karin. I'm Naruko Uzumaki." I say smiling. She nods and walks out. I lay back in the bed putting a hand over my face. "Ugh. My body hurts." I mutter lowly. I hear the door open and four different footsteps enter the room. Curiously I move my hand.

"How are you feeling?" Orochimaru asks cocking an eyebrow up.

"Like utter shit. What happened?" I ask.

"We were hoping you could tell us." Kabuto says.

"Not talking to you jack ass." I say looking him dead in the eye.

"Why you little brat!" He yells stepping forward. I throw a kunai at his feet stopping him in his tracks.

"Where did you get a kunai?" Karin asks searching her pockets.

"You pants. You should tuck those away more carefully." I say smirking.

"I see you haven't changed much." I turn to look at Sasuke. The instant I do my face flushes bright red and I look away. "Naruko, Where's Selena and Udyan?" Sasuke asks. An image of them flashes through my mind. They're laying on the ground not moving, Obito-Sensei looks like a mad man, Rin's laying there not breathing.

"It hurts.." I say curling into a ball and holding my head. Karin rushes to my side and checks my head.

"Her memories are returning. She lost her memory when she passed out." Karin says. She lifts her sleeve up and puts her arm in front of my mouth. "Bite down." She says calmly. I do as told again, I see her grimace but she doesn't say anything.

"Before you passed out you said that the Akatsuki broke your seal." Kabuto says stepping forward. I glare at him and he steps back. I still don't like him. When I pull off of Karin I mumble a sorry to her.

"I remember now... the masked man in the Akatsuki. He's the only person I didn't have a file on.." I look away balling my fist up. "I'll kill him." I say through gritted teeth.

"I see..." Sasuke looks away glaring.

"I'm sorry Sasuke.. I had to leave but I still wasn't fast enough to get away..." I grit my teeth and look away. I flinch slightly and grip my side.

"You did what you had to do. We can talk later." Sasuke says looking at me with a small, barely noticeable smile. I nod at him.

"Alright. It seems that's Naruko needs surgery on her rib after all. Out. All of you." Karin orders. I giggle but immediately regret it.

"Ouch." I say as my face twists in pain.

"We'll be here when you're done." Orochimaru says directing Kabuto and Sasuke out of the room.

"That fact is slightly terrifying but comforting." I say sighing with a small smile.

"Would you like ussss to get your thingsss?"

"No. I have everything important already." He nods and walks out.

"Alright. Let's prep you for surgery." Karin says sighing.

"I miss Kurama right about now." I sigh. "He would have just healed me."

"Well now you have me. Don't worry you're safe in my hands." Karin says smiling at me. I nod with a small smile.
