*Naruko's pov*

Sakura and I were walking and talking. Yeah, weird right? It wasn't anything bad. She's trying to help me cope with my depression. She's not all that bad and we actually get along now. Sometimes anyway.

"How have you been feeling?" Sakura asks looking at me with a small smile.

"I've been okay." I say sighing.

"Have you been eating properly?" She asks lifting my shirt a little bit. "You look a little thin. You should eat more often Naruko." She starts to scold me. Before I can say anything back though we spot Sasuke. "Sasuke? Where are you going?" Sakura asks catching up to him.

"Sasuke, are you leaving?" I ask seriously while trying not to show any emotion. He nods not saying anything.

"Sasuke, do you remember the first time you called me annoying?" Sakura asks sadly. I keep quiet and summon a crow with a message attached sending it away quietly. It took a few minutes but everything was about to be ready.  Then I heard Sakura confessing her love to him. My eyes widened and I wanted to cry but I pulled myself together.

"You're annoying." Sasuke says annoyed. He flashes me a small smirk.

"If you leave I'll scream and alert the village of your betrayal." Sakura says desperately. I look at her in shock. Sasuke disappears and reappears behind her. He doesn't say anything as he knocks Sakura unconscious.

"Anything you'd like to say?" He asks looking at me. I sigh and walk swiftly to him.

"I love you Sasuke. I understand why you're leaving, just don't lose yourself along the way. Stay the you I fell in love with." I say poking his forehead.

"Thank you." He says before knocking me out as well.

-time skip-

Sakura and I woke up on a bench. My head hurt like crazy. Neither of us said anything as we went to the Hokage tower.

"Come in." Lady Fifths voice calls out tiredly.

"Sasuke's left the village." Sakura says with tears in her eyes. Sakura proceeds to tell her everything before she was knocked out.

"And you didn't stop him Naruko?" Lady Tsunade asks.

"I cannot deflect the Sharingan Ma'am. So no, I did not stop him. He knocked me out as well." I say seriously.

"Send me Shikamaru Nara." She says to Shizune. "You two are dismissed."

"Understood." I say turning and walking away.

"Naruko? You're not upset about what happened are you?" Sakura asks me looking down. I stop in front of her.

"No. But you should know, Sasuke doesn't love you like you love him. It's a futile attempt. Trust me Sakura." I say seriously and begin to walk away.

"I see. You love him too." She says, sighing as I freeze in my tracks.

"More then you'll ever know." I mutter low.

"That's why you didn't stop him. I've seen you in action Naruko. You could have easily stopped him. You didn't because you love him." She states.

"....." I don't say anything.

"From this day forward we're rivals! We'll see who wins his heart in the end!" Sakura yells with a glare.

"Tch. You really are annoying." I sigh as I disappear.

"YOU'RE LATE!!!" Selena and Udyan yell at me. I arrived at the waterfall to see them, Shisui and Rin talking.

"Can you not yell?" I ask holding my head. "I hate the Sharingan.." I mutter groaning in pain.

"He used the Sharingan to knock you out?!" Selena yells.

"Sh sh sh sh." I cover her mouth with my hand. "Why are you so loud?" I question.

"Well, what's the verdict?" Shisui asks.

"Shikamaru is leading a team. He's not taking many I assume." A crow lands on my shoulder with a message. "Oh, its Itachi's crow." I grab the note and give him a treat. His eye flashes to the Sharingan. "Hey Shisui I found your eye.."

"Really?" He asks shocked.

"Itachi put it in the crow. I'll leave it for now." I say nodding. I read the note.

"What's it say?" Udyan asks.

"They're outside the village just waiting for the signal." I say calmly.

"Wait, Kakashi will still be here.." Rin says concerned.

"That's not a problem as long as you distract him for us." Selena says smiling.

"Wh-what?!" She yells.

"Again with the yelling?" I ask covering my ears. She sighs exasperatedly.

"You owe me." She glares at us and we all smile at her. "Fine, then I should be going." She sighs leaving.

"We should be going too. We need to make this a quick in and out to get what's needed." I say sternly.

"Right. We'll go distract the Genin for you. Get in, and out fast." Selena states. They take off.

"Take care Shisui. I'll come to see you when I can." I say smiling at him.

"Be careful then Naruko." He says patting my back. I nod and disappear.

"Hey, we're heading out to get Sasuke back." Naruto stops in front of me.

"Please, bring him back." I say looking away with a blush.

"Don't worry. I will bring him back." Naruto hugs me tightly.

"I love you Naruto." I mutter lowly. He smiles and nods back. I look at him with a small sad smile. Not that he noticed but I was close to tears. This is my goodbye Naruto. We'll meet again when the time is right.

As they left I waited. Selena and Udyan were distracting those who stayed behind. I waited for another hour before sending crows out, scattering them as part of the distraction and the signal. I wait a few minutes.

"What's going on?" I ask as Asuma-Sensei passes by.

"Naruko. You need to get inside somewhere and hide. The Akatsuki Are here, probably looking for you and Naruto." He says sternly. I nod and internally smirk. I make my way towards the Hokage tower. I watch as Lady Tsunade doesn't leave the office. I groan internally but make my way through without arousing suspicion.

"Naruko, What are you doing here?" Lady Tsunade asks as I walk into her office.

"Well I was told to get inside and hide somewhere. The Akatsuki are here. So I figured, why not the safest place in the village? The Hokage towers hiden room." I say shrugging.

"Ah, I forgot you knew about it. Yes. I'll let you in." She nods getting up from her desk and walking towards a secret door. I nod as she begins to make a set of hand signs, while she's busy I quickly go through the desk and grab the papers I needed. I sent a crow signaling I needed out.

"AH!" I yell as a hand goes over my mouth and I'm pulled closer. Terror was written on my face.

"Let her go!" Lady Tsunade yelled charging a chakra filled fist.

"No can do." Kisame smirks. "I'll be taking the girl." He then disappears. We all appear outside the village, Kisame's clones have Selena and Udyan.

"Let's go." Itachi says as he destroys the dummies we created. We nod and disappear. I pull out the paper with the location of Obito-Sensei and nod.

"Where is he?" Selena asks looking over my shoulder. We're far enough away we don't have to worry.

"Tonika Village." I say sighing.

"We're no where close to there." Udyan sweat drops. "We're on the complete other side."

"See, this is what happens when I navigate! You two know this!" I scold throwing a kunai at them.

"Selena." Itachi says calmly. She freezes, turns with tears in her eyes.

"BIG BROTHER!" She yells crying as she hugs him.

"Awe, how cute." I chuckle evilly. "How about a little revenge?" I ask Udyan.

"Huh? Wait! Don't you dare!" He yells.

"Hey, Itachi~. Selena and Udyan are d—." Two hands clamp over my mouth and a kunai is stabbing my back.

"Huh?" He asks.

"Nothing~!" They say laughing sheepishly.

"Keep your mouth shut or I'll tell Itachi about you and Sasuke. Sleeping in the same bed." Selena hisses. I pull their hands away and smirk.

"So? It's not like anything happened." I say shrugging. "But, Fine. I won't say anything....for ramen." I smile innocently. "Buy me ramen or else."

"I hate you." Selena mutters. Udyan nods in agreement.

"You love me." I smirk.

"Is it clear?" Itachi asks Kisame. He went to scoop out the area.

"Yeah. We should make it to Tonika Village in a day if we walk straight through the night." Kisame states.

"Wow! A fish!" Selena yells amazed. I stifle a laugh hiding behind Itachi.

"I'M NOT A FISH! I'M A SHARK YOU BRAT!!! Who the hell are you anyway?!" Kisame yells at Selena, causing me to fall over in laughter.

"Hahah!!! She called you a fish! Hahaha! Ima call you fishy-man now! Hahaha!!" I laugh even harder. Kisame grows a tick mark and smacks the back of my head. "Ow!! Itachi! Tell Kisame not hit me!" I whine. Itachi chuckles lightly at me.

"Stop whining. Let's head out before we get caught." Itachi says lightly.

"Right. Kisame, this is Selena Uchiha and Udyan Haruno. My team." I say smiling. "Guys this is Kisame Hoshigaki." I say smirking.

"When did you learn my last name?" Kisame glares.

"Heh, i have my ways." I laugh.

"Are you sure it wasn't from these?" Itachi holds up my documents I took.

"HEY! I STOLE THOSE FAIR AND SQUARE! GIVE 'EM BACK!" I yell.

"No." He says seriously as he takes off in a sprint.

"Tch. Stupid." I mutter creating hand signs.

"You marked him?!" Selena yells at me. I smirk and nod.

"I've marked everyone." I laugh.

*Selena's pov*

"What does she mean?" Kisame asks as Naruko disappears.

"She altered a type of teleportation jutsu, put it into a seal and if she's had any type of physical contact with you at all she has already marked you." Udyan replies shrugging.

"Say, Kisame? Do you know about Big Brothers illness?" I ask curiously. He nods looking away.

"Yeah. I take it Naruko doesn't?" He asks.

"No. Let's keep it that way." I sigh.

"Why?" He asks.

"Because, Naruko would go to the ends of the earth to find a cure that doesn't exist." I sigh, then I cough slightly.

"Here. It sounds like you're getting it." Kisame hands me some medicine and water.

"You can't hide it from Naruko forever, Selena. She'll figure it out." Udyan sighs wrapping an arm around me.

"I know... I just don't want her to worry. She's already got so much going on in her mind. She's working herself too hard." I sigh looking away as blood drips from my nose. I quickly wipe it away.

"She'll be okay." Udyan says lightly.

"Let's catch up to them." I say wanting to change the subject.

"Yeah, they're probably waiting up ahead." Kisame says calmly.

-time skip-

*Naruko's pov*

It's been a day and a half, we had to stop because Selena couldn't walk anymore. But we're almost there now. Kisame and Itachi were walking us to make sure we got there fine. Which we could have on our own, I just think Itachi wanted to spend time with Selena.

"Look! Up ahead!" Udyan yells happily. Selena and I grin.

"It's about time." I say smirking. "We can handle things from here."

"Alright kids. See yah." Kisame chuckles putting a hand on my head then walking away.

"Bye Kisame." We say waving to him.

"Take care." Itachi says poking Selena's forehead. I smile at them.

"Bye Itachi." We say smiling. We turn and walk towards the village.

"Halt, who goes there?" The village guard asks.

"We're here looking for our Sensei, sir. He told us we'd find him here. It's part of our test, we don't have much time before we fail." I say with a small pout. He nods and let's us pass.

"Do well." He says as we walk off. I nod a thank you.

"Nice lie." Udyan says smirking.

"Eh. It wasn't that good." I say sheepishly. "Now let's find Sensei." I say with a light smile.

"I'm picking up a familiar chakra. It's over this way." Udyan says walking off.

"I guess we'll just follow you." I say smiling. We walk for about fifteen minutes before coming upon a house in the woods. "Obito-Sensei~." I sang out.

"Naruko, Selena, Udyan." A familiar, happy voice calls out to us from inside. The door opened and we say Obito-Sensei standing there.

"SENSEI!" We all shout happily hugging him.

"Heh, come in." He says calmly.

(Ugh! Guys! There's going to be a hell of a lot of time skips coming up. This get crazier. The wars coming up too, and absolutely none of it's going to follow the anime or manga all the way through. Things are getting complicated too. I'll update twice tomorrow if I can, because I didn't do a Halloween chapter because i suck and it was hard to come up with anything on the spot.
