*Naruko's pov*

At the end of the day we gathered for dinner after training. We all ate, the little boy, Inari threw a fit as Sakura asked a question. Telling us to leave. That were only going to die if we stay here. Yada yada yada. Naruto slammed his hand on the table and told him to stop being a baby. I sighed as Inari left.

"Where are you going, Naruko?" Naruto asked. I looked at him and smiled slightly.

"You're right Naruto. Calling him a brat. But you need to realize you were a brat too. You may have grown but you're still weak brother. But accepting being weak allows you to grow stronger. The next time we face Zabuza there's a chance we could die. Any of us. Don't let that stop you from going down the right path and becoming the hero you'll become." I say as I turn to walk away. "To answer your question, I'm going for a walk." Then I leave.

I walk outside and see Inari sitting by the peer. I sit down beside him silently and stare up at the sky. He's hold a picture crying. I don't look at him as I begin to speak.

"Naruto was right. You are a brat." He goes to yell at me but I hold my hand up to silence him. "But as a ninja he should know how to keep his temper. And telling him he doesn't know what pain is?" I pause and sigh. "We've been through so much pain since we were born. We may have our parents still and some friends who love us, well I do. Naruto always got in trouble, nobody wanted to be around him. I stood by my brother as the villagers called us monsters, and tried to kill us. Naruto may have gotten into trouble but he always does what he can. He would take most of the injuries for himself. He may not be much of a ninja now, but he will be. He'll be the best ninja ever someday, just as he's the best brother ever. You have a lot to learn about ninjas though. There are times you have to back down, and times you have to stand up for yourself. This is a time to stand up for yourself Inari. Stand up and fight. Ignore those who call you weak and prove them wrong." I say seriously. He blinks at me, smiles, bust into tears and hugs me. I stiffen.

"Thank you." He mutters as he falls asleep. I sigh and pick him up.

"You're welcome kid." I say as I walk back inside and take him to his room. As I get inside everyone at me confused.

"Naruko what did you do to him?" Sakura asks loudly.

"Shh. He cried himself to sleep. I simply brought him in geez." I sigh.

"I'll take him." Tsunami says smiling. "Thank you." I nod and turn around.

"Now where are you going?" Sakura asks annoyed. I turn to look at them.

"Does it really matter?" I ask. I notice Naruto stand up. He walks over to me and hugs me.

"Sorry." He mutters, he then kisses my forehead as an older brother usually does. I sigh and hug him back. "Not going to be able to sleep?" He asks. I nod. "Then let's go train." He says grinning. I nod and we walk away leaving them confused.

Naruto and I goof around while we're training but we still take this seriously.

"Hey Naruko?" Naruto asks with a yawn.

"Do you want to go to bed Naruto?" I ask concerned about his health.

"No no. I was just wondering. Why doesn't Kurama keep me awake?" He asks curiously. I look at him and sigh.

"Because your seal is stronger, Kurama takes care of you but he is, well I think mom explained it as he's a sleep. Because he was split into two you got the good half, who is more likely to love you. I've got the bad half, who likes to cause more mischief because mom and dad used most of their chakra to seal the good half in you, they used what they could to seal the bad half in me. But because they used so much for you, they didn't have enough. My Kurama is awake most of the time and likes to keep me awake." I say shrugging. He nods and smiles at me.

"Everything will get better sis!" Naruto yells hugging me. I smile and laugh.

"I know brother. I'm working hard to be able to control Kurama soon. We've come to an understanding though where he will help when it's called for." I say happily hugging back.

"Hey, hey. Let's continue trying to climb the tree!" Naruto yells. "I'm going to surpass Teme, believe it!" He yells fist bumping the air. I grin at him and nod.

"Alright Naruto! Let's do it!" I say. Even though I can do it perfectly fine I still want to help Naruto become stronger.

We train and train for hours until Naruto finally passes out from chakra exhaustion. I sighed as I laid down next to him. I was on the verge of passing out too.

"The best thing about being with you is, never being bored. You help me without knowing it. I love you big brother." I say sighing as I curl up next to him.

-time skip to morning-
*Sasuke's pov*

"Where's Naruto and Naruko?" Mr. Tazuna asked. Selena and Udyan looked around for a second and sighed.

"Who cares? They probably went out training all night. It wouldn't surprise me if they died from chakra exhaustion." Sakura says snobbishly. I finished eating and stood up. "Sasuke, where are you going?" She asks batting her lashes.

"For a walk." I say simply.

"But breakfast just sta--" she looks at my empty bowl and slumps. I walk away without anyone caring.

*Naruto's pov*

I woke up with a start and grabbed someone's hand. They were trying to touch Naruko. I sat up and quickly shook my head.

"Don't." I say seriously.

"You two will catch a cold out here." She says lightly. This girl. She's so pretty! Prettier then Sakura! "What are you guys doing out here anyway?"

"We were training. We must have passed out." I reply simply. Naruko grips my arm mumbling something. I bend over her and shake her. "Naruko. Wake up."

"Hm?" She opens her eyes slightly. Sits up and yawns.

-time skip-
*Sasuke's pov*

I was walking around looking for the idiots. This girl, maybe guy, walked past me as I saw them. I stopped for a second but kept walking. Naruto was freaking out and Naruko was patting his back comfortingly.

"Hey Dobes. You missed breakfast." I say as I approach them. Naruko looks up confused. "What's wrong with him?" I ask slightly annoyed.

"He was prettier then Sakura!!" Naruto yells. Naruko just sighs and shakes her head.

"Geez Naruto. He wasn't that good looking." Naruko sighed annoyed. She then turns to me with a smile. "Good morning Sasuke." I nod back to her keeping a straight face. I can feel my face slightly heat up. As we walk back to the house Naruto comes up with a very dumb but slightly funny idea.

*Naruko's pov*

"Where are they?" I hear Sakura ask slightly annoyed.

"Who knows." Udyan says sighing annoyed as well.

"Hey guys!" Naruto calls from the top of the tree. I hide in a different tree away from him, and Sasuke hides with me.

"Hey, when we get a chance, can we talk?" Sasuke asks lowly in my ear. I slightly blush but nod. We turn back to watch, then Naruto slips. Sasuke jumps out and stands upside down on a branch.

"That's my Sasuke!" Sakura squeals. Then Sasuke slips, working with the plan.

"Oh no! Sasuke! Naruto!" Everyone shouts afraid. I sigh and grab his leg like he did Naruto.

"Geez. I told you that was a bad idea Naruto. I really should drop the both of you." I say sighing.

"Eh! Naruko! I'm sorry!" Naruto yells.

"Hn, you wouldn't dare." Sasuke states. I sigh because he's right.

"Alright, come on you three. Let's head back." Obito-Sensei calls.

"Is there coffee?" I ask as we all walk with them.

"Figured you'd ask. Here." Selena says handing me a nice warm container of coffee. My eyes sparkle and I take it from her.

"Thank you so much!" I exclaim wrapping an arm around her without spilling the coffee.
