*Naruko's pov*

It's almost been a month, Naruto left to train with Jiraiya. He offered to take me but I declined after successfully summoning Gamabunta and signing my name on the scroll. And then perfectly doing the Resengan.

Sasuke was busy training with Kakashi-Sensei. Leaving me no time to talk to him. Selena, Udyan and Sakura always hung out, with the other guys. They all went and helped Lee out too. Leaving me to train alone. Okay well not really alone. Somehow, I found a way to hide Kurama's chakra completely so Itachi and his partner Kisame have been around training me. In secret of course.

"Hey kid, what's up with you?" Kisame asks as I lazily make my way to meet with them.

"What?" I ask confused.

"You seem down. What's wrong?" Kisame asks again. I've become close with him and even closer with Itachi.

"Eh, I'm fine. I just feel like everything is falling apart, y'know." I sigh.

"Want a dango?" Itachi holds out a bag full of fresh dangos.

"Sure.." I shrug and grab a dango. "Can't we just skip training today?"

"No. You need to become a Chunin." Itachi scolds.

"You say you've faced your opponent before right?" Kisame asks.

"Yeah. He's a tough opponent but Sasuke, Selena and I had figured out his ultimate jutsu. I can easily deflect it if only I could use earth release." I mutter.

"I don't understand how you don't have Earth Release." Itachi sighs.

"Maybe she's just a late bloomer with some ninjutsu." Kisame says shrugging.

"Doubtful. Have you seen her ultimate jutsu?" Itachi asks pointing at me. Kisame shakes his head no. I nod and begin to do the Resengan. The blue orb begins to form in my hand. It gets bigger just enough to take down a tree. I move in a flash and slam it into a tree. Taking down a total of five trees and creating a fair sized crater in the ground.

"Hehe. Oops?" I ask laughing sheepishly.

"Wow.. She should become a joinin.." Kisame says grinning his sharky grin.

"I've learned everything form you two already." I sigh laying on the ground. "I fear because I pick things up easily I won't have anything left to learn and I'll just be over powered." I sigh.

"You still need to learn how to use Earth Release." Kisame chuckles.

"But how do you learn something like that?" I ask seriously sitting up to face him.

"I don't know." He mutters just as confused. We turn to look at Itachi.

"I don't know either." He says sighing. We just sit there thinking for a while.

"I still can't think of anything." I sigh annoyed. I fall back on the ground and watch the clouds.

"We've got to head out kid." Kisame says smirking. "We've got to capture the nine tails brat."

"I still don't understand why you guys are after Naruto. Or why you trust me enough to tell me anything." I say shrugging.

"Because you wouldn't say anything." Kisame pats my head. I shrug but stand up.

"Then I guess I need to go find Sasuke and distract him." I sigh. Itachi nods and pokes my head.

"Take care." Itachi says walking away with Kisame. I take off to find Sasuke but I can't find him anywhere. After a little while of looking for him I find him chasing after Itachi and Kisame. My eyes widen and I take off after them as well.

"Damn it they must have figured Naruto isn't here." I whisper to myself.

"Don't worry kit." Kurama says calmly.

"Where the hell have you been?" I hiss annoyed.

"Sleeping." He replies calmly. "I know, what's happened though." I growl at him but continue forward. I arrive to see Kisame holding on to Naruto, Sasuke glaring at Itachi.

"Naruto, are you okay?" I ask glancing at my brother in one of my mentors hands.

"Naruko? What are you doing here? You need to leave, I'm fine believe it." Naruto says looking at me with wide eyes.

"Naruko, Leave." Sasuke demands. I step in front of him and eye him carefully. "Move. Or I'll kill you too." He glares daggers. My heart breaks at his words.

"You're a lot of talk Sasuke. You're not strong enough to kill me." I say keeping my face and voice devoid of emotion.  Jiraiya had arrived and said something but I didn't pay attention. My focus stayed on Sasuke.

"Naruko, Move now." Sasuke says again. "Fine." He glares daggers. "He killed your mom. He took everything from Selena and I. I'll kill you to kill him." He glares at me, He starts to charge up the chidori and I glare.

"You wouldn't." I say seriously. But he would. His hand goes out, destroying the wall, he gets to me and I push his hand down away from my heart in the nick of time. "I-I se-see." I spit up some blood. I grip his arm with one hand. "If that's how you want to play." I mutter glaring. I draw my fist up and punch him with force. He flies back and I collapse.

"Naruko!" Naruto yells. Kisame let's him go to help me. "Are you okay?"

"I-I'm fi-Fine." I cough up some more blood. I push off of him and sigh. "Why do I always get stabbed?" I mutter. I watch as Itachi beats the hell out of Sasuke.

"Foolish little brother." Itachi sighs. I lean against the wall and watch carefully.

"Sasuke, don't be stupid. You can't beat me, you'll never defeat Itachi." I say seriously pushing myself off the wall. Kurama decided this would be the perfect time to heal me.

"Naruko, stay back." Jiraiya says. I glance at him and shake my head slightly. I step forward and grab Itachi's arm.

"Enough is enough." I say calmly. Itachi glances at me.

"Let's go Kisame." Itachi says calmly. I go over to Sasuke and put him on my back.

"You two aren't going anywhere." Jiraiya says making hand signs. The hall turns into that of a toads throat or whatever. "No ones ever escaped this jutsu." Jiraiya says smirking. Itachi uses Amaterasu and him and Kisame jump out a hole in the wall.

"They escaped." Naruto and I said in unison, though Naruto freaked out.

"I see that." He mutters defeated.

"I'm taking Sasuke back to the village. Oh, and Ero-Sennin, I don't suspect the Akatsuki know about me." I say seriously.

"What do you know?" He asks narrowing his eyes slightly.

"I know enough." I say seriously.
