(Udyan, Selena and their new Sensei and teammate. Kiara-Sensei and Reiki.)

*Udyan's pov*

It's been a month since we were attacked. Someone had killed Rin and attacked Selena and I as we were walking back to the house. We were injured when we found Rin. We were losing too much blood. The villagers started screaming and I just barely saw Naruko run away. She was being chased. I couldn't do anything to save her. I had enough power to get Selena and I to safety before passing out.

In that month Selena and I grew closer. I began training under Lady Tsunade with Sakura. Everyone was happy that we actually were alive, but we still mourned for Naruko. We don't know if she died or not. Selena and I are staying in an apartment together, mainly because my mom and dad think I left the village as a traitor. Even though that's not the case.

We've also got a new team. A new Sensei, Kiara-Sensei. She's beautiful but not my type. And then our third teammate is a boy slightly older then us. His name is Reiki, he's got a weird personality. But then again we're use to Naruko's weirdness.

"Hey guys! Wait up!" Selena and I looked back to see Reiki and Kiara-Sensei running towards us.

"What is it?" I ask curiously.

"Lady Tsunade needs to see you Udyan but first, here. I'm signing you three up for the Chunin Exams." Kiara-Sensei says calmly. Her pale face somewhat devoid of emotions.

"Cool." We say taking the papers.

"I'll make us some dinner. I'll see you when you get back." Selena says kissing my cheek. My face flushed but I smile at her.

"See you later." I pat her head as I walk away. I hear Kiara, Reiki and Selena talk for a few as I continue to walk away. I walk towards the Homage Tower and see her, Sakura and Shizune waiting. "Sorry I'm late. I was receiving my Chunin exam form." I say.

"That's fine. Come, we're meeting Lord Gaara at the gates." She says simply. I nod and follow them. Sakura smiles at me and grabs my hand. I smile down at her since I'm slightly taller. We get to the gates and a few minutes later Gaara, Temari, Kankurō and this beautiful girl walk in. The girl has waist length black hair, innocent bright blue eyes and she wears a kimono. She's holding onto Gaara's hand.

Lord Gaara." Lady Tsunade says nodding to him. "Who's this?" She asks looking at the girl.

"My name's Chrissy ma'am." She bowes to her swiftly. Holding elegance and a sense of royalty but something about the way she holds herself kind of reminds me of Naruko.

"Hey Gaara, is She your girlfriend?" I ask smirking mainly to tease him but also out of curiosity.

"Yes. Why?" Gaara says plainly. Mine and Sakura's face turn bright red with slight hearts in our eyes as she looks at us.

"She so beautiful." Sakura says deflated.

"Thank you. You're beautiful as well." Chrissy smiles at her with a closed eye smile. My eyes widen at the smile. 'That's Naruko's smile!' I think with a small smile.

"Th-thank you." She stutters blushing.

"Let's go to the office. We've got a lot to discuss." Lady Tsunade says sighing.

"Of course." Gaara says and we begin to walk away. "Kankurō, guard Chrissy. You two can walk around." Gaara says seriously.

"Why me?" Kankurō asks seemingly annoyed.

"Okay." Chrissy says happily kissing Gaara's cheek and standing back with Kankurō. That's how I know it's not Naruko. She wouldn't kiss anyone other then Sasuke. Even on the cheek. She's in love with him and wouldn't do something so ludicrous. Well I don't think anyways.

"Heh, you know they hate each other. Why would you do that?" Temari asks Gaara snickering slightly.

"It will be good for them. Besides it's what he gets from earlier." Gaara replies coldly but I can sense a bit of joking in his voice.

"Maybe they'll get along better by the end of this." Temari says.

"Why don't they get along?" Lady Tsunade asks curiously.

"Kankurō doesn't trust Chrissy. He just doesn't trust easily." Gaara sighs.

"How long have you and Chrissy been dating?" Sakura asks curiously.

"Not long." He replies.

"How long have you two known each other?" I ask.

"Since we were 13." He says nodding. "Yeah. She was the first person to calm Shukaku down." He says calmly. I eye him carefully because that was Naruko. It can't be. Can it?

-time skip-

After the meeting and being informed that Gaara is basically going to be bait to lure the Akatsuki here. I'm not too thrilled about it. It doesn't seem right.  But we walked out of the office to see Kankurō and Chrissy sitting on a bench, well Chrissy sitting on a bench and Kankurō standing beside her,  guarding her.

"What did you two do?" Gaara asked as he walked over to them.

"We walked around and has some dangos. I bought you some too, Gaara." Chrissy answers blushing and holding out a bag of fresh dangos. I chuckled at her bright red face.

"Thank you, Chrissy." Gaara kisses her hand and takes a dango. "Let's go to the hotel."

"Hey Gaara, Selena's making dinner. If you guys want you can come over." I say smiling to them. He looks at Chrissy for an answer.

"I-I wouldn't want to impose." She says in a small voice.

"You wouldn't be. My girlfriend would be happy to make food for more people." I say with a closed eye smile.

"Are you sure?" Gaara asks.

"She'd love for you guys to come over. We can catch up on somethings." I reply smiling.

"Then we'll be over." Temari says calmly.

*Naruko's pov*

"Hey Gaara, Selena's making dinner. If you guys want you can come over." Udyan offered. I longed to say 'obviously stupid' but I didn't. Gaara looked to me for an answer but I didn't know if we should or not.

"I-I wouldn't want to impose." I answer in a small voice looking away. He probably thinks I'm just a little timid or something.

"You wouldn't be. My girlfriend would be happy to make food for more people." Udyan smiles a closed eye smile. My eyes widen slightly. They're actually dating? I think amazed.

"Are you sure?" Gaara asks. He's thinking of me in this I'm sure. Knowing how hard it would be for me.

"She'd love for you guys to come over. We can catch up on things." Udyan says smiling.

"Then we'll be over." Temari says calmly. I look at her slightly confused.

"Great. I'll see you guys there." Udyan smiles as he waves and runs off. When he's out of ear shot I turn to Temari.

"Why would you tell him we'd be there? Do you have any idea how hard it is even being in the village right now? Every turn I take I risk breaking down." I say glaring.

"You need to see how they are. You need emotional training." She sighs patting my head.

"I don't need emotional training. I can easily keep myself together if needed." I say simply.

"You'll be fine." Kankurō puts a hand on my shoulder. "If you could keep it together in the cemetery you'll do just fine for dinner." I sigh but nod.

"Lets go to the hotel and change first." I suggest.

"Yes. I hope you don't mind but we'll be sharing a room." Gaara says to me.

"I expected that." I say lightly. We head to the hotel and go to our respective rooms. Gaara and I shared a room, Kankurō had a connecting room and Temari had a room to herself. "One bed..." I sigh.

"I don't sleep so you can have the bed." Gaara says glancing at me.

"You know, part of my power is to calm the tailed beast down. You should sleep while I'm still around." I say smiling at him. Setting our bags down I sigh.

"Go ahead and change in the bathroom." Gaara says as he shuts the door. "I'll wait." I nod a thank you and go and change. As I undress I look at my scars. I have them up my wrist, my thighs along my sides, my back and my stomach.

Now I know why Orochimaru told me to change my arms were visible. I hope Sasuke didn't see. I sigh and quickly put on a long sleeve kimono that stops at my knees. Some of the scars are self harm and some are training and battling.

"Are you ready?" I ask walking out only to see Gaara changing. I blush and turn around. "S-s-Sorry Gaara." I stutter like crazy the largest blush on my face.

"It's okay Naruko." Gaara chuckles amused. "You can turn around now." He says. I turn to see him in his usual maroon color shirt. "You look nice Naruko. Let's get the other two and head over."

"Yeah." I say lightly.

"You know, in that kimono you look like royalty." He states.

"Eh? I guess so. The Oracle is a goddess after all." I say shrugging. "And to be technical I'm the daughter of the Fourth Hokage, so it kind of does make me royalty." I shrug. We walk out and knock on their doors.

"Eh? Ouch." Came from Kankurō's door along with a thud. I giggled as we waited. "Sorry Lord Gaara. I fell asleep." Kankurō apologizes while bowing.

"It's fine." Gaara says sighing. We knock on Temari's door but no answer. "Temari. Come on." Gaara says calmly but strictly.

"Uh, can Chrissy come in here a second?" She asks sounding a little embarrassed. I nod and come in.

"What is it Temari?" I ask calmly.

"Can you help me with this?" She asks blushing slightly. She was trying to put on a kimono and failed I giggled at her and nodded.

"Sure." I smiled. I quickly put it on her. Tying everything How it's supposed to be tied. "Are you joining us or are you going out with someone else?" I ask lightly.

"Uh... I....Uh have a date..." she says looking away.

"With who?" I ask wide eyed. "Wait, let me guess. Shikamaru?" I ask smirking.

"Uhm... well... yes." She says looking away. I smile at her.

"Well I hope you have fun. Let me do your make up real quick." I say not giving her a choice as I put some foundation on her, some eyeliner, mascara and a little bit of lipstick. A knock on the door chimes through the room. "That's probably him." I smile at her.

"Eh? Is Gaara and Kankurō our there?" She asks. I nod slightly worried myself.

"I'll let him in." I tell her. "Finish getting ready." I order. I walk to the door and open it, seeing Shikamaru being interrogated by Gaara and Kankurō. "Gaara, Kankurō, stop being rude." I smile sweetly.

"But he's taking Temari out. Why didn't she tell us?" Kankurō asks.

"Maybe because you're boys and you're over protective. I'm sorry about them. You must be Shikamaru Nara. It's a pleasure to meet you." I bow to him while smiling.

"And I assume you're Chrissy." He says kindly. I nod. "Nice to meet you." He says boredly. I resist the urge to laugh.

"Temari is almost done getting ready." I say and just then she walks out.

"Sorry I'm running late." She blushes and looks away. It's silent for a minute as Shikamaru observers her.

"It's fine." He says lightly. He pulls out flowers from behind his back and hands them to her. "You look beautiful."

"Th-thanks." She blushes.

"Alright, You two. We have a dinner to go to. We'll give them your apologies." I yell Temari.

"Thank you Chrissy." She smiles. I nod and grab Gaara's hand and Kankurō's arm pulling them with me.

-time skip to the dinner-

"So where's Temari at?" Udyan asks as Selena and I set the table. I offered to help and wouldn't let her refuse.

"She's on a date with Shikamaru Nara." I answer smiling. Kankurō grumbles til I glance at him.

"Really? I thought Shika would never get a girlfriend. Especially with all his talk of how troublesome women are." Selena says laughing. We set the food down and take our seats. I sit next to Gaara, Selena next to Udyan and Kankurō beside Gaara as well.

"Thank you for the food." We all say as we bow our heads then pick up out chop sticks.

"Eat up." Selena says smiling lightly.

"Would it be okay if I asked you a few questions?" Gaara asks Selena and Udyan.

"What about?" Udyan asks.

"Why'd you guys fake your deaths?" He asks.

"We, Uh.... Naruko had a plan we needed to help her with. We didn't know much detail other then we needed to train for three years, stop Sasuke from killing Itachi and explain everything to him." Udyan says seriously.

"What happened to Obito, Rin and Naruko?" Kankurō asks, glancing my way. He's checking to see if our stories match up, I didn't say anything about Obito and Rin.. but then I remembered back to the Chunin Exams when I became Chunin.

"Why are you asking us this?" Selena asks glaring slightly. She's detected something is off.

"Chrissy, fix this." Gaara says calmly. I stand up and look away.

"You can't say anything to anyone. Hell, why am I even bothering telling you two that, I know you won't." I sigh and put my hand up releasing the transformation.

"Naruko...." Selena stands up and crashes into me first. "You don't get to do that! What happened after we left for town?!" She yells at me crying. I wrap my arms around her and hug her.

"You idiot." Udyan says walking over to me and hitting me in the head hard.

"Ow!" I whine holding my head.

"You know if you two don't keep it down someone will hear you and come to see what's happened." Kankurō says annoyed.

"See this is kind of why I didn't want to come. I knew this would happen." I say annoyed earning another hit to the head. "Ouch." I mutter.

"Don't hide from us Naruko. We thought the Akatsuki got you." Selena scolds.

"I saw them. Just barely chasing after you." Udyan says sighing.

"They got me. The swirly masked guy caught me. He's faster then I am, he took Kurama from me. I nearly died I barely had enough chakra to get to where I'm staying now." I say looking away. "I can't tell you guys where. You'll know soon enough."

"Okay." They say nodding.

"You two are just going to trust her word?" Kankurō asks even more annoyed.

"Well yeah. We don't have a reason not to." Udyan says shrugging.

"What happened after you guys left the house?" I ask curiously.

"Someone attacked. Neither of us got a look at their face. The attack was so fast, Rin and Obito were coming back from the market as we were coming back. Rin was killed because she jumped in front of us. Obito lost it, becoming mad, he killed everyone then attacked us. Saying we were the cause of her dying." Selena says pausing and looking away from me.

"We passed out from blood loss. When we came to we were in the hospital here. We didn't know what happened to you or Obito after that." Udyan says pulling Selena closer. All the while we were eating.

"So what's going on with you and Gaara?" Selena snickers. I sigh and face palm.

"As Chrissy she's my girlfriend but as Naruko, we're just friends." Gaara answers.

"You already know I only have my heart set on one person Selena." I say seriously.

"Yeah, Yeah. We know. You know that everyone is voting to kill Sasuke right? Everyone except for Naruto and us." Udyan says seriously. My eyes darken fast.

"They'd never get the chance. Sasuke is stronger now and he has several people to protect him." I say seriously.

"So you've been with Sasuke?" Kankurō glares.

"I'm not saying I have and I'm not saying I haven't. I may or may not have had an encounter with him." I shrug.

"You're doing that thing again." Selena points at me.

"What thing?" I ask innocently.

"Don't play innocent. You know, the thing where you confuse us." Udyan says rolling his eyes.

"Heh, I haven't a clue what your talking about." I laugh.

"You really are confusing." Gaara sighs shaking his head.

"So, Selena, Udyan." I pause and look up at them. They look at me with wide eyes getting at what I'm going to say. "Since when have you two been dating? Like actually dating and not the occasional talking like you did around me and Obito." I ask slightly annoyed.

"Eh? Well, we've actually been dating for a year... but we didn't want to tell you two because you'd tease us." Selena says turning bright red.

"Tch. I ought to strangle you two. I wouldn't have teased you that much." I say jokingly. "But I'm glade you two are happy." I smile. They hug me and the rest of dinner goes smoothly. We talk and explain a few things to Gaara and Kankurō. Not much but some stuff. That's when I know everything is fine. No matter what happens everything will be fine.
