*Itachi's pov*

Kisame and I were walking around in silence. It was a long day of training. Suddenly someone appeared in front of us. I realized that someone was Naruko after her transformation disappeared. She held her eyes and screamed in pure pain.

"What wrong with her?" Kisame asks covering his ears.

"Beats me. But we need to shut her up before she draws people our way." I say annoyed. Then she stops screaming and tears/blood stream down her face. "Naruko, what happened?" I ask narrowing my eyes slightly. She looks at me and I'm shocked.

"Hey Itachi aren't those the same eyes you have?" Kisame asks narrowing his eyes.

"I awakened the Oracle's Power a few days ago. I have access to any clan traits, while trying to help two people i became frustrated because I couldn't actually help. I was informed my eyes had changed... I didn't know at first, then the pain kicked in as I found you." She says as calmly as possible though you could tell she was in pain.

"Your eyes are fully matured already. Come here." I say seriously, she nods and walks closer to me. I grip her chin and inspect her eyes carefully. "Don't use these eyes too much or you'll over use chakra, and could go blind." I inform her.

"Teach me to use them, please?" She asks pleadingly.

"Fine. But not today." I say seriously. I begin to cough lightly and her eyes widen.

"I-Itachi... you're sick?" She looks away sadly. "Selena is too... I saw her a few days ago. She could barely eat, and her nose started to bleed for no reason.. it's a terminal illness that can't be cured, isn't it?" She asks glaring. I didn't know what to say to her.

"Yes." I reply calmly. She sighs and nods.

"It's getting dark. Let's find a hotel to stay in." Kisame sighs. We nod and we all begin to walk silently. "By the way, Naruko. I heard you had a small portion of the Nine Tails, but it was extracted by Tobi."

"So that's what his name is, huh?" She asks annoyed. "Yeah, I nearly died. If it wasn't for what little chakra I had left I would have. I made it to Orochimaru's hide out. If it wasn't for him, Karin and Sasuke I'd have died." She says calmly.

"Orochimaru?" I ask her annoyed.

"Tch, I couldn't go back to Konoha and I couldn't get back to Udyan and Selena my seal on them disappeared, I thought they died. Orochimaru helped me unlock the Oracle though." She shrugs. I narrow my eyes at her.

"He didn't experiment on you?" I ask.

"No. He can't." She replies simply. I nod. We get to a hotel and get two rooms.

*Naruko's pov*

-time skip to training the next day-

"Ah! This is so much harder! My eyes aren't adjusting!" I yelled trying to dodge Itachi's attacks. Obviously I was failing dodging so I kept getting hit pretty hard.

"What? Did you think you could master the Sharingan immediately? It takes hard work." Itachi states.

"No, I just thought it'd be easier." I sigh. I quickly jump away from Itachi as he's about to hit me with a Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu.

"You're getting better." He states as I dodged and landed perfectly.

"My eyes are adjusting. I can keep up now." I say to myself smirking. I watch as Itachi makes quick hand signs for a Water jutsu. I finally realized we were on the water and copied his hand movements perfectly.

"Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird." We say simultaneously. "Water Release: Giant Vortex Jutsu." His out matched mine and I was swept away.

"You did good kid." Kisame chuckles as I wind up laying on the ground in front of him.

"Eh? That sucked compared to my normal training." I mumble.

"It's the Sharingan slowing you down. You'll get the hang of it." Itachi says gently. "Now, I believe I've taught you all I can. Just train with them once a week or so to keep improving." He says calmly.

"I will. Thank you Itachi." I smile and hug him. He pats my head affectionately. I deactivate my Sharingan and my eyes turn to there usual blue. I keep consciousness instead of blacking out like Kakashi-Sensei does. I teleport in front of Orochimaru, Kabuto, Sasuke, Karin and two people I don't know.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Karin yells throwing kunai at me. I'd normally dodge but I deflected them with my own.

"Ah, Naruko, itsss nice to sssee you ssstill alive." Orochimaru chuckles. "I wasss about to sssend a ssearch party out for you."

"Eh? Of course I'm still alive old man. Why wouldn't I be?" I ask confused. He glares slightly at me for calling him old. Sasuke walks over to me and grabs my face.

"Show them to me." He growls.

"Eh?" I panicked slightly and my eyes changed, but not into the Sharingan, they changed into the Byakugan. I could see his chakra points and my eyes widened.

"You've awakened the Byakugan too?" Kabuto asks confused.

"How did you know I awoken the Sharingan?" I ask letting my eyes go back but I swayed slightly. Sasuke holds me up right still glaring.

"A rumor another Uchiha was dissscovered with blue eyesss." Orochimaru says simply. "You better watch usssing those eyessss of yoursss. Wouldn't want sssomeone to try and capture you now." Orochimaru hisses.

"Eh? I have a target on my back again?" I slump. "I thought that was over with when Kurama was taken." I sighed.

"Are your eyes matured?" Sasuke asks. I nod.

"Don't know how but they are." I shrug.

"Hey Naruko, Why are you all covered in bruises and cuts?" Karin asks coming to my side.

"I was attacked and failed miserably to dodge. I was still getting use to the Sharingan so I was slow to react." I sigh defeatedly.

"I've got two questions." We look at the white haired male with shark like teeth. "One; how the fuck do you have the Sharingan if you're not an Uchiha? And two; who the fuck are you?" I blink at him.

"Don't talk to Naruko like that you bastard!" Karin yells hitting him. He turns into water evading her attack.

"I've never seen her act this way about anyone, besides Sasuke." Kabuto mutters.

"Naruko's like the little sister I wish I had." Karin says hugging me to her chest.

"Ca-can't bre-breath." I manage to say. She lets go and smiles sheepishly at me. I turn to look at the two I don't know. "Forgive my rudeness, I'm Naruko Uzumaki, Child Of Fate. It's nice to meet you, uh?" I trail off not knowing their names.

"Jugo." The tall buff orange haired male says in a deep voice.

"Suigetsu Hōzuki." The white haired male says simply.

"Right." I nod and turn to Orochimaru. "Can I barrow a lab?"

"Why?" He raises an eyebrow. I hold up two vials.

"I need to make a cure." I state simply.

"For?" Sasuke chimes in.

"None of your business Sasuke." I state simply. Orochimaru tosses me a set of keys.

"The bassss in the eassst isn't occurred right now." He says simply. I nod.

"Thanks." I reply going to walk away. Sasuke follows me out. "Why are you following me?" I ask. He doesn't reply, he grabs my wrist and spins me to face him.

"Why are you always in a rush?" He asks me pinning me to the wall.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"You're always doing something. Always training. You hardly ever take a break unless you're injured and monitored 24/7." He states.

"Sasuke, I only have a year before everything just falls apart. I don't know what exactly happens, I just know something bad is going to happen. I have to be ready for it." I say looking him in the eyes calmly. "Sa-." I'm cut off by his lips on mine. We kiss for a few minutes before he pulls away.

"Don't stay gone for too long." He says poking my forehead with a small smile on his face.

*Kabuto's pov*

"Kabuto, go with Naruko." Orochimaru hisses.

"I'm sorry, sir. Can you say that again please?" I ask curiously.

"I sssaid go with Naruko." He demands. My eyes widen before I regain composure.

"Why me? You know she hates me. She'd probably kill me before we even made it to the base." I reply.

"Becausssse you're the only other perssson with the medical knowledge she will need." He says simply.

"Why don't you send Karin, she knows just as much." I retort.

"She'ssss apart of Sasssuke's team." He says glaring. I sigh and go to follow her.   I see her and Sasuke talk before he pokes her forehead and walks away. She walks the opposite direction and I follow her.

"Naruko, Lord Orochimaru is sending me with you." I call to her. I hear her curse under her breath and sigh.

"Fine. Lead the way, cause I'm not good with directions." She says stopping.

"Then how do you get anywhere?" I ask her as we begin to walk.

"I've marked every land I've been in. I've got a mark everywhere. Except for a few places." She replies shrugging.

"How have you been everywhere if you aren't good with directions?" I ask narrowing my eyes at her.

"Well, Selena, and Udyan are good with directions so when we would travel around to get supplies and stuff they lead the way and I marked the place so we'd never have to walk there again. It's handy because I can leave one mark there for years or so and it never wears down." She say grinning. I nod in understanding now.

"Okay. Let's go." I say as we walk out of the base.

"What about supplies?" She asks curiously.

"The base is loaded." I reply simply. She nods and we walk away silently.
