As of right now, I am currently not using a computer or laptop to write this Fan Fic and All That You Are fan fic. I am using the wattpad app to write at the moment so if there are typos and spelling errors I am sorry. And feel free to point them out so I can go back and edit them. Thank you!

"Lan we Gonzi," Wanyin said, "you seem to be everywhere these days."

"This is my home, so it is expected that I am seen everywhere," I told him with my cold expressionless demeanor.

"And you think you can just get away with humiliating my mother like that?" He said getting upset.

"She brought it upon herself. I told her and everyone else, that includes YOU, that I will not stand by and watch Wei Ying get berated and humiliated by his so called family," I explained and saw Jiang Yanli appear behind Wanyin. It is time for the truth to come out.

"And you don't think it is wrong to call out a senior for their concerns? Wei Wuxian has always been known for causing trouble so how can you just stand by and not see it!" Wanyin argued.

"Not see what?" I asked, "not see how you belittle him at any chance you get. Not see how you are always trying to prove you are a stronger or better cultivator than Wei Ying. Not see that your words take such a huge toll on Wei Ying that he cries a lot at night because of you!"

"Why? I did not do anything!" He said.

"Oh, no!" I said, "you are always talking down on him. You always have to say to him not to embarrass your clan. I have been around him enough to know that he is not the person you claim he is. You berate him all the time, yet he is still willing to help you feel better about yourself when he is not okay himself. Have you ever asked, aside from our engagement, why does he not want to go back to Lotus Pier?"

Wanyin was quiet. That really got him to think about his words. Before he could say anything I continued, "He works every day to try and get Madam Yu's approval. He wants to feel welcome. He feels like he does not see Lotus Pier as his home anymore. He said he finds home here at Cloud Recesses because he feels welcomed, wanted and accepted by everyone. He only feels as servant to you and your family. You say he is your brother, but all he thinks is he is a servant. Now tell me, should a 'Family' member feel that way?"

"Wangji," Yanli said with tears in her eyes, "is that true? What you said? He doesn't feel welcome or at home in Lotus Pier anymore?"

"Unfortunately, it is," I told her, "you are the only person you really sees Wei Ying as a brother, and he looks up to you like an older sister. He adores you more then you probably know. He always wants to make sure his Shijie is happy and in good care."

Yanli nodded and more tears fell. Xiongzhang soon appeared and saw that something was wrong.

"What seems to be the problem here?" Xiongzhang asked.

"A'Xian is hurting, and we don't even know," Yanli said sobbing.

My brother looked at me, "Young Master Jiang here, thought he could try and start an argument about me, apparently, humiliating his mother. He was angry and tried convincing me that Wei Ying is not good company. So I told him the truth about how Wei Ying does not think Lotus Pier as home any longer. He feels more at home here, because he feels accepted by everyone here," I explained.

My brother held onto Yanli for comfort, "Jiang Gongzi, why do you insist on still belittling him?" Brother asked.

"I just want you people to know what you're getting yourselves into," he said and stormed off.

"I will talk with him when I calm down," Yanli said, "he just doesn't know how to think or react to any of this and is confused. I am not defending his behavior but it is just as I see it. He has always been that way. I have always tried to get A'Cheng to ease up on A'Xian."

"I think time away from each other might help," my brother told her, "if you need to talk, feel free to come to me."

"Thank you," she said and looked at me, "do you think you can tell A'Xian to speak with me at some point before I head back home?"

"I can," I told her, "he is currently crafting talismans at the moment. You know how he is when he gets working."

"I do, just make sure he takes care of himself," Yanli said, "he has a habit of neglecting that when he works."

"Until his space is build, he is working over in Mingshi if you wish to see him," I told her.

"Thank you," she said.

"I was heading that way before your brother stopped me," I told her, "would you like to come or do you have some place to be?"

"Oh, since A'Xian made me the fan, I took an extra lecture course. It's on meditating maintains spiritual energy. Especially for those who have a weak golden core."

"That's good, we can meet tomorrow as well for a lesson if you like," I told her.

"Your brother told me that not long ago, and I would," she said, "I have to leave now though. Thank you."

I nodded and watched her leave before turning back to my brother, "She is probably the only Jiang I can tolerate," I said.

My brother laughed, "she is a sweet girl huh," he said.

"Last time she was with Jin Zixuan...don't tell me you are falling for her?" I said with a curious look.

"What?" My brother laughed, "I don't know what you are talking about. I admire her, and of course I like her, but not in the way you think."

"Okay," I said in a tease.

"Didi!" He said getting annoyed, "stop it."

"If not her, then who is the one on your mind these days? Huh?" I asked, "I know you are thinking of someone."

"You are becoming more bold and shameless by the day," he told me, "I don't have to say anything."

"Okay, I will speak with Wei Ying about it later, maybe he noticed you being so fond over Yanli," I teased him again.

"Hey, you want to be punished!" He scolded playfully.

"Like you would punish your little brother," I teased him more.

He looked at me a little longer and then huffed storming off. I laughed as he left making him shake his head in annoyance. He likes her, I am sure of it.

I walked to Mingshi and Wei Ying had books open just researching at the moment, "Wei Ying," I greeted.

He looked at me and smiled, "Hi Lan Zhan," he greeted back.

"If you are okay with it, I wanted to run something by you," I told him.

He looked from his book and leaned over towards me, "what's that?"

"Xiongzhang will be upset I spoke of this but I have to say something and ask your opinion."

"Okay, what is it?" He asked.

"Lately I have noticed my brother being very fond of Yanli," I told him, "I know she has an engagement to Jin Zixuan but I couldn't help but notice my brother's interest. He denied it when I brought it up but it was a hesitation deny."

"Really?" Wei Ying said, "Xichen-Ge would make a better husband to her then that peacock I am sure. I wouldn't mind it actually but it is more up to them. They have my approval if they do."

"Yanli seems to be interested in him as well, I noticed it a little," I said, "and I don't really have an issue with it either. Her mother on the other hand...."

"Haha, she will be hard to convince but I have noticed that Madam Yu seemed to be okay with your brother so maybe it would be okay. Maybe we can ask Shijie what she thinks of your brother," he told me.

"She wants to speak with you at some point before heading back to Lotus Pier. She heard an argument that I had with Jiang Wanyin just moments ago," I said.

"About what?" He asked concerned.

"He was angry that I humiliated his mother," I told him, "he was also trying to convince me that you are bad company and will only bring bad luck to the clan. So I told him that you didn't see Lotus Pier as a home anymore but as a residence. That you feel more welcome and accepted here."

Wei Ying nodded with a sigh, "he needs to hear those things. His mouth will get him in trouble one day, and it will not go over well. I can't always be there to fix everything. I wish he would understand that."

"Your Shijie was upset that you felt that way, but I reassured her that she is the only one you really look up to at Lotus Pier. She was happy to know that."

Wei Ying smiled, "do you see her as a shijie?" He asked.

"I do actually," I answered honestly, "I feel very comfortable around her. She has a very comforting aura about her."

"She does, if you can, you should try her pork rib and lotus soup. It is my favorite dish of all time," he told me.

"I know, and I believe you had me try it in the past life, but I can in this life to let you see," I told him.

"Good," he said and looked back at his book, "this core protection talisman might take some time to really grasp. I have ideas but to fully get it to work, it will be many trial and errors."

"I believe in you, just remember about your health," I told him.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes, "yes, A-Niang."

I laughed and went behind him wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my chin on his shoulder, "My Wei Ying," I said quietly.

Wei Ying leaned into my hold and rested his head against mine, "my Lan Zhan."

I kissed his cheek and held him tight. I did not want to let him go at the moment. He was all I wanted in my arms right now, and so, he let me be.

Should I stick with Yanli and Zixuan or are you okay with me trying something bold and totally new with Yanli and Xichen?
