Morning Class & Brunch
Jack's POV
I was more comfortable than ever until Mark swore under his breath and grunts, making me curious. "What's wrong Mark?"
"I have a class today and I still need to take a shower." He sighed as he stood up slowly, hinting me to move my head from his shoulder. "Oh, right..." I said, trying not to hint any disappointment in my tone. "Well, I guess I'll see you later?"
"Yeah, see you later buddy." He answered as he gave me a warm smile.
He then walks away, leaving me alone on the couch, feeling a bit empty. After a while, I suddenly got a text from Felix, which reminded me that I was going to eat brunch with him and Ken. Shit, how can I forget? I'm kind of full... Well, I can just order a drink or somethin'.
I walk slowly, tugging Mark's shirt into my skinny jeans, hoping that I'll look nice enough. As I took my jacket, I can hear faint footsteps behind me. "Oh, you're also going?" Mark asked curiously. "Yeah, need to meet up with some friends." I answered, earning a nod from him. I opened a door, letting him to go first. "After you, m'man."
He giggles in respond. "Being a gentlemen, eh? That's way off from your nature, Jack."
"Hey! A man can change, y'know?" I said while shoving his shoulder lightly. "Whatever you say Jack." He shrugged, as he walks away, waving his hand. "See ya around!"
"See ya too!" I waved back, unconsciously smiled towards him. Shit, why did I smiled at him, that is so awkward! He noticed my stupid action as he giggles lightly, flashing a wink at me.

Mark's POV
I made it into class on time, only with a few minutes to spare. I sighed, as I took a seat, catching my breath. As I sat down, I noticed a figure from the corner of my eyes walking (hesitantly) towards me. As I look towards that person's direction, I see the same girl that stared at me in my last class. She has a straight black raven hair (just like the color of my hair back then) and she was wearing an oversized jacket (that looks really comfortable) accompanied with a pair of ripped jeans and a black converse. Her eyes were blue like Jack's, but not as beautiful.
"Can I help you? Umm..."
"Jenifer." She answered quickly, as she coughs in awkwardness. "It's Jenifer."
"Okay Jenifer... I'm Ma—"
"Mark Edward Fischbach, right?" She said with a sparkle in her eyes. "Really nice to finally talk to you."
"Whoa there, how did you know my full name?"
She rubs her neck, looking away for a while. "Of course I know, who doesn't? At least in this class, anyways. You're like, the top student here! You always have excellent grades, and I really adore that about you."
I laughed at her excitement. "Adore? That's a pretty strong word to use, ya know?"
"Well, that's how I feel." She shrugged, as she smiles awkwardly. "Umm, can I sit here next to you? I mean, if you don't want to that's fine—"
"Sure! Why not?" I cut her words, causing her to stare at me in disbelieve. "Really? Wow, um... Thanks Mark." I answered back with a nod as I smiled warmly. I noticed that she blushed a bit as she looks away, but I didn't mind it.
We didn't talk that much until a finger pokes my back. As I look back, I can see Bob and Wade, grinning. "Hey there Mark, I see you have a new friend here." That sentence made her blushed like a mad man, as I answered lightly. "Yeah, I just talk to her. Her name is Jenifer." Bob nodded, as both of them took a seat next to me.
The class was boring as usual but I enjoy it. I took notes carefully and asked a couple of questions to the professor. After the lecture was finished, Bob and Wade pull me away from Jenifer, as she looked at me in confusion.
"Mark, aren't you gay?" Wade asks bluntly, but not loud enough for anyone else to hear except for me and Bob.
"Um, yeah, I am, so?"
Bob shook his head slowly, as he talks. "Well, this Jenifer seems to take an interest in you... and it's that kind of interest. You know what I'm saying?"
I blushed a bit at what Bob just told me. "Um... yeah, I kinda notice it but maybe it's not! Maybe she just wants to be friends with me!" I cried in denial.
Wade took a long sigh. "Mark, as your straight best friend, I know how girls react. Well, if you need any more proof, you can ask Molly yourself! She knows everything about these kind of things and I learn some stuff from her." I nodded hesitantly at Wade, as he continues. "Besides, you like Jack, right?"
"What? No!" I shouted, causing the people that is still in the room to looked at me and my friends, including Jenifer. "I swear to god, I don't like him." I whispered towards them, not wanting to give out more attention.
"Yeah, sure ya do." Wade rolled his eyes. "But listen, what I'm trying to tell you is, it's okay if you want to be friends with her but, just don't give her... 'False hopes,' okay?"
"What does that even mean?" I grunted.
"You know what he means." Bob suddenly said, as Wade nodded in agreement. "So anyways, we need to leave. See you around, Mark."
"Yeah, I'll see you guys later." As I walk along, waving them goodbye.
Jenifer seemed to be curious and wanted to ask me what happen but I walk pass her, only flashing a weak smile as I leave the room.
Jack's POV
"Wait, so you still don't like Mark?" Ken asked me, hinting curiosity in his voice.
"Ken, I'm fuckin' straight. Of course I don't like him. He's just... a nice guy, y'know? And I appreciate that."
"But you cuddled with him and he cooks for you and all of that cute things! You're even wearing his fucking shirt! You guys are like, my OTP right now." Felix cried.
I felt a blush creeping up on my face as thoughts of what happened this morning flashes on my head. "Yeah, it's just a friendly thing! Nothin' special."
"Well, I don't believe that shit." Felix said, as he drank his coffee. "We just need to wait, that's all."
"Fuck you, Felix." I swore as I look out the window. Nothing was out of the ordinary when I noticed someone walk in the crowds. How can you miss him with that fluffy pink hair?
"Guys, can you excuse me for a sec? I need to talk to someone outside." I said as I stood up from my chair, not waiting for them to actually answer me. For some reason, my leg started to run on their own towards the pink-haired men. "Hey Mark!" I said, as I waved my hand, trying to get his attention.
He looked around, noticing my loud-ass voice as his gorgeous brown eyes finally landed into mine. A crooked smile appears on his face, as he waves back at me. "Hey buddy! Still seeing your friends?"
"Yeah, we're goin' to finish up just now." I answered, earning a slow nod from him. We became silent, as none of us don't have anything to say. "So..." I said, breaking the ice. "What are you doin' here anyways?"
"Oh! I'm just going to get some groceries, it's just around the corner from here. Want to join me? I can use some help." He said as he pulled out a list of things from his pocket. I nodded, but remembered that I need to tell Felix and Ken. "Sure! But can you wait a sec? I need to tell my friends first." He understands as he nodded. I ran towards the restaurant where Felix and Ken are.
"Guys, I need to run a couple of things, sorry to leave soon."
"Sure bro, enjoy your little grocery shopping with Mark." Felix chuckled as he grins playfully. "Wh-what? I'm not going with Mark!" I said, trying to pull out a lie (but fail miserably).
"Don't lie now," Ken huffed, as he looked at me straight in the eyes. "We saw you there, talking to him from the window."
I blushed, feeling embarrassed. "Yeah, whatever. Gotta go, see all you dudes later." I said as I ran outside towards Mark, not bothering to look back.
"Finished?" He asked, as he pulled out another smile.
"Yeah... so, let's go!"
