Stacey Gilbert was always content with the way she lived. Having the perfect family to rely whenever she was in need of any problems that was sent her way. Being able to grow up around people she would dearly call her best friends. And the perfect ideal boyfriend to fall in love and to spend the rest of her life with. So far, she has spend her entire life enjoying the rides and thrills that has traveled through her and she is loving every single bit of it.

But then as people say, the good must always come to an end. During the month of May in 2009, Three people had tragically lost their lives forever in the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. Miranda and Grayson Gilbert, the parents of three children had unfortunately drowned underwater in their vehicle where Wickery Bridge laid. And while that took place, one of the children Miranda and Grayson birth had seemingly been drained of their blood and left in the woods to die.

As Stacy could seemingly say, the night of those three deaths had hit hard and changed the joyful town into what she could say something miserable. She couldn't understand why the lives of her family were taken away from her soon in life, she was just barely passing the age of seventeen when the tragedy took place.

For a while Stacey struggled to move on and pretend that everything was perfectly find before it happened. However, while doing so her life is changed once again when two dangerous brothers arrive back into their hometown for only one purpose but different reasons.
