مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

"And one of His signs is that He has created for you, spouses from amongst yourselves so that you might take comfort in them and He has placed between you, love and mercy. In this there is surely evidence (of the truth) for the people who carefully think." (Surah 30, Verse 21)

As the couple settled in the sailboat, Al amin signaled the helmsmen to set off.

"I'm already feeling dizzy" Ruqayyah complained as she gripped on al amin's arm firmly. 

He sniggered and wrapped his arms around her petite figure "Its okay, don't get scared sweetheart, i promise you nothing will happen, we're going to arrive safely in shaa Allah. Read your du'as"

Ruqayyah nodded. She loved doing all those crazy activities quite all right but when it comes to anything that has to do with deep water, she totally despised it. Now that al amin's arms were securely wrapped around her, she felt a little relieved, almost as if she'd the assurance that nothing would happen to them.

They'd to admit Riyadh is one of those places anyone would want to visit. The five days they spent were epic. Zayed and Bilqis were really fun to be with. They made sure they visited all the fun and enjoyable places in there. Today, they'd arrived in French Polynesia, Bora bora.

Ruqayyah's eyes grew wide as she spotted the huts in front of them. They were lined up right in the middle of the ocean. 

"Wow!!" She cooed.

Once the sailboat came to a halt in front of one of the huts, Al amin smiled to her holding out his arm that she carefully held unto as they made their way out of the boat.

"Bon monsieur jour et madame! Je m'appelle Bruce" A young slim bloke said with a wide grin.

"Bonne journée, Comment allez-vous?" Al amin replied, shaking hands with the man.

"Très très bien, bienvenue à bora bora,
J'espère que vous avez une merveilleuse lune de miel" The man said with a wide grin.

"Merci!" Al amin smiled.

"Wow you speak french? I never know" Ruqayyah said, dazzled.

"Yeah.." He scratched the back of his head "Just a little"

"I'm willing to be a good student" She grinned as the man opened the hut's door and motioned for them to come in.

"This is the living room" He said in his thick accent, spreading his hands.

"There's a LCD tv right there" He pointed "And a mini kitchen" He opened the kitchen's door.

He gave them a little tour around the place; meanwhile, the couple tailed behind him.

As soon as he left, Ruqayyah slumped down on the bed and sighed heavily.

"Whats up?" Al amin said and copied her laying position.

"The place is so beautiful" She smiled and faced him.

"Very" He nodded.

"My dream place! I can't wait to see the rest of the places" She squealed delightfully.  

"Don't worry, we'd do that today or tomorrow" He purposely copied her tone and quickly sat up because he knew what was coming next.

As expected, she took a pillow and threw it to him to which he successfully dodged.

"Come back" She yelled and ran after him.

"Catch me if you can" He yelled back.

He ran around the place with her following behind him before she mistakenly tripped and then.... BAM! She fell down with a thud.

"Ouch!" She cried.

"Are you okay?" Al amin asked and quickly came to her side.

"Do i look like I'm okay?" She said through gritted teeth.

He suddenly burst into series of laughter, clutching his stomach.

"What the... You made me fall and you're now laughing at me? Without a single sorry?" She yelled.

"It.. Was..... So... F..funny" He said amidst laughter.

She huffed and rubbed her ankle.

Once he controlled himself, he held out his hand for her "Come on! Get up"

She rolled her eyes "I don't need your help"

"Come on wifey"

"Save it!"

He shook his head and scooped her up in his arms bridal style and headed towards the bedroom.

"I don't need your help!" She said trying to break free.

"You're in your dream guy's arms and i know your heart is literally melting right now, don't worry i'd try and do that often" He winked.

"What that..." She stopped at a loss for words and punched his chest.

"Try harder next time" He smirked and put her down on the bed.

"You're so pesky" She hissed.

"And thats why you love me" He said and pulled his indivisible collar up.

She rolled her eyes.

He moved closer and started tickling her.

"Please... Stop.. It.." She said in between her boisterous laughter, her eyes teary already.

"Leave me alone" She yelled, trying to catch her breathe.

He raised his hands up "You're free"

She playfully shot him a glare as he slid his arm over her shoulders.

"Go away" She pushed him away.

"You're pushing your husband away. How rude!" He shook his head.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and smiled wickedly. She pecked both his cheeks, kissed his neck, his lips and stood up.

He gripped her hand "No fair!"

She poked out her tongue at him and sashayed into the ensuite.    

"I'd surely pay back" He yelled.

"So where are we going?" Ruqayyah asked as she spritzed her neck with cologne.

After taking bathe, eating and resting a little, they decided to go out and see some places.

"We going to explore the lagoon by jet ski" He said buttoning his shirt.

"What?? Do you want me to die?" Ruqayyah said incredulously "We can't go in that water with a jet ski, no way in hell"

"Sweetheart.." Al amin started placing his hands on both her shoulders "Its really nothing, I promise you, its super easy and fun"

She rolled her eyes clearly not convinced and continued taking selfies with his phone.

After five minutes, They came out hand in hand and entered the sailboat, which would take them to the shore.

They arrived and got out. The young man they met earlier, Bruce, approached them "Bonjour! Mr and Mrs al amin"

"Hey!" They replied as al amin held out his hand to shake hands with the man.

"Please, lets go to the jet ski side" He said as he started walking.

He arranged two jet skis, one for the couple and the other one for him.

"How on earth are we going to get in this huge water with this jet? It might tumble or sink" Ruqayyah crossed her arms over her chest, horrified.

"Don't panic, I'm here with you" Al amin tried to encourage.

After some minutes, he finally cajoled her. She put on the life vest and got on the jet as she wrapped her arms steadily around his torso, of course not before making him promise that he would do whatever she says.

"Why are you not wearing the life vest?" She asked after realizing.

"I'm okay this way, you know I'm a badass swimmer, no need of life vest here" He pointed at himself and turned the engine on, revving it a few times.

"Say that when we sink" She sneered.

She could feel him shaking in silent laughter as he glanced at her over his shoulder "Make sure you hold on to me"

She nodded and tightened her hold around him. She bit her lower lip as the jet hurtled forward.

They moved further in the ocean, al amin threatening to stunt over the water, now and then. And she'd scream and angrily punch his back.

"Do you want to swim with sharks and stingrays?" He asked with a smirk, looking at her over his shoulder.

She gasped and opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. After some minutes, she sighed "I'd want that if you want me dead today, in fact now"

He laughed wholeheartedly at that "No i wouldn't want you dead, what about dolphins? I know you're not scared of them"

"Yeah! There are way better than sharks" She grinned.

Bruce whistled with his mouth and dolphins suddenly emerged.

"Oh they're so cute mashaa Allah" Ruqayyah said looking at them in wonderment. 

The dolphins whistled and clicked playing cheerfully around them. One of them came to Ruqayyah to which she gently caressed its body.

Al amin passed Ruqayyah's camera to bruce and asked him to give them some shoots.

She made all those funny poses, the duck face, fish gape pose and the like, while al amin just made the 'brushes that dirt off my shoulder' pose, the 'raise one eyebrow with arms crossed' pose and etc.

They stopped at the Strip of White sands and enjoyed the cool blue lagoon then later went back to the shore.

"I told you it would be fun, didn't i?" Al amin asked as soon as they got back to their hut.

"Surely" She nodded in agreement "Especially the dolphins part"

"Yeah? Now thank me" He smirked.

"Thank you? Ha-ha very funny" She playfully stuck out her tongue at him, removing her earrings.

"Sweetheart, you even thanked me without you knowing" He smugly simpered.

"Oh get out!" She muttered and growled.

Ruqayyah stared at her reflection in the long mirror and smiled, pleased.

'She looked elegant' She thought and looked down at the plain black collar dress she was wearing with a matchy hijab. Her feet were shod in heels. She'd just applied a liner and a lipgloss, however, she felt contented with the look.

Al amin had arranged a dinner date for them and sent a lady to bring the dress and heels for her. She was more than excited!

After a quick squirt of Gucci perfume, she made her way out and the helmsmen quickly stood up "Do you still need a life jacket madame?"

She waved her hand in the air "Forget about that, I'm finally getting used to it"

He grinned, nodded and zoomed off.

The moment they arrived, she spotted al amin, smiling sweetly at her. She took her time and looked him over, he was wearing a white button up shirt with sleeves rolled up and a black pants. He looked abs-freakin-olutely dashing.

Putting his left hand in his pocket, he held out the other one for her to which she gladly took and got out of the boat.

"Sweetheart every time i look at you i have to smile, you look breathtakingly beautiful" He whispered into her ear and she felt her cheeks glow.

"Thank you! You look handsome too" She complimented.

They walked hand in hand to their table and settled down.

"It's beautiful" She breathed out, lost in the admiration of the scenery.

"Yeah!" He said with a smile, his eyes never leaving her face.

"Do i have something on my face?" She chuckled and snapped her fingers.

"Honestly, i could stare at you forever and I'd still feel like I haven't had enough of you" He paused "You are my darling and you reflect on my entire world" He spread his arms wide "Okay! I know i sound cheesy right now, but sweetheart i love every bit of you, every single bit"

"Ooh Alhamdulillah I'm so blessed!" She said, pressing her hands to her chest, her eyes shining like a glossy pearl.

He stared at her for a moment, his palm supporting his chin, before he spoke "Alhamdulillah, I'm so blessed too. So so so blessed"

She sniffed as her eyes started to get watery. He stood up and opened his arms wide for her, she immediately hugged him and let the tears stream down her cheeks.

They stayed like that, enjoying each other's warmth, silently praying to Allah azza wajal to bless their love, to make it stronger, to let them be together forever, to protect them from evil every minute of their lives.

"Don't weep any more, your tears break my heart" Al amin kissed her forehead.

"I will love you, my love till death do us part till i no longer breathe in shaa Allah" He promised.

"I love you so much" She finally found her voice "And my love will grow strong, from my head down to my feet, till my body is frozen, stiff, pale, and cold, till I'm lying six feet under lifeless and without a soul, till my blood no longer runs, pumping through my veins in shaa Allah"

They retook their seats and food was served. They ate, laughed and chatted away. Ruqayyah felt happy at how she felt comfy unlike their last so-called date.

Once they were through, al amin suggested they walk around the area before they head back to their hut.

Ruqayyah removed her heels that were already killing her and held unto his arm. They walked along the shore for some minutes and stopped, staring at the beautiful ocean.

She lifted her dress a little as the cold water rushed over her bare toes.

She trailed her hand through the water and splashed it to al amin, who was staring at her with great fondness.

"Sweetheart i play better in this.... Way way better" He said, scooped handful of water with both his hands and splashed it over her.

"You did not just ruin my dress, this isn't fair at all" She yelled and angrily splashed the water on him.

"You are the one that started it first, aren't you?"

Splashed.

"OMG! You mess with the wrong girl" She said and started splashing the water on him frantically, until his shirt was completely soaked.

"Great! Just great!" He said through clenched teeth and grunted.

She started to laugh her head off once she realized how she got his shirt soaked.

"Pretty fair, aye?" She smugly raised an eyebrow.

"Pretty fair? Sweetheart Just run for your life" He roared and ran after her.

Abeg pass me tissue 😭😭 i can't believe there are only few chapters remaining to finish up COH, two or three to be precise. Sha I hope you all are in the best of health and spirits in shaa Allah.
