Jin's POV
Where is my stupid Science assignment papers?! Shit! Where did I left?! I have to pass the stupid assignment with all the stupid observation to the teacher tomorrow if not she'll have me in the detention. Oh mommy.. where is my assignment?!! Wait.. did I leave in the school, why the hell do I have to leave it there?!

I smack my own face and wore a shirt to cover my upper part of bare body. I got down from the stairs to the doorstep and saw my mom is sitting on the couch with snacks on her lap, she's eating them while watching her favorite drama, "Eomma, I'm running back to school to get my homework." I said then exit my house after I heard she hums.

Luckily the school is just few blocks away from my house. When I got there, the school guard stopped me from getting in. "Sir, I'm here just to get my homework then I'll go back home. Just let me get in." I said, begging him to let me in and he finally allowed. I dash into my classroom and got my science assignment which is in my desk's drawer as sighed in relief. I don't have to get into a three hours detention.

Getting out of here, I have to pass Yoongi's building which became our hangout soon. As I walked pass, my eyes were caught on it. The lights were turned on in that room, someone must have been there and had not left yet. "Who would be here at this night?" I questioned then looked at my watch on my left wrist, it's already 9.30pm.

I enter the building and got up by stairs while there's someone singing as the voice got louder when I got nearer. When I stepped in all I see is the back view of a girl with her brown hip length hair, "Who are you?" I asked as the girl stop what she is doing then she turn around to face me.

I fell to the ground with my body a shiver when I saw the right eye of hers is glowing in purple color, I put all my force to push myself behind until I hit the wall. She bent down as I looked away, "What are you doing here?" She asked curiously yet coldly. That voice.. that voice belongs to Jinshi.

I turn my head to face her, she was wearing an eye patch covering her right eye. "Jinshi?" I asked as she walks away. "Who else it would be? Ghost who'll be here from 200 years ago?" She scoffed as she continues doing what she did just now. I got up from the floor and walk towards the working table she's standing beside it.

There's a robot lying on it, "What you're doing?" I asked then she look at me, "What do you think I'm doing then?" She asked back and continues. "Fixing or maybe upgrading.. can I ask you something?" I asked, she hummed a yes as an answer.

"Why does your right eye glow and what are you for real?" I asked, she stared at me for a while then put down the screwdriver and power on the robot. "Try communicating to him." She walks towards another table leaving me with this fixed robot.

"Hi,my name is E-X. How can I help you?" He asked or should I say it. "Uh.. what can you do?" I asked curiously but it remained silent. Is it broken? "He take commands, he doesn't answer to question but just tell him what to do." She explained as I nodded in understood.

"Sweep the floor?" I looked at him, more like staring as he start moving, he walk to the corner and took a broom, start sweeping the floor. I walk towards the table where she was, "You're trying to escape from my question." I said as she looks at me, "Why do you have to ask?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulder, "I don't know, I find you interesting." I smiled and she stops doing her things as she took a seat on a stool.

I took another stool and sit right in front of her, "I never tell this to anyone and no one ever asks so.. don't sell my secrets." She said and I nodded. Secrets will always be safe with me.

"Ahn Jinshi is my name, I'm also the second child of the Ahn Technology Co. My brother, Ahn Jaehyo the one you met on the rooftop that was beside me. My father accepted the artificial eye treatment for me after I was born half-blind and I'm also half-deaf. It was the artificial eye you saw, not a real eye." She explained and I nodded my head.

"You're a...?" I asked again, what she is. An experiment or maybe even cooler, a robot? "Robot you think? Maybe but I call myself an experiment." She smiled bitterly and drinks a cup of water.

"Why are you willing to tell me?" I asked since she said she never tell anyone about her. "I don't know, I feel like you won't sell my secrets out." She smiled with that smile is just beautiful. It's warmer than the fake cold smile. "You looked beautiful with that smile." I smiled but her smile faded away after I mentioned. "You should get home and finish your assignment, Ms Paul is always the maddest teacher in school." She reminded me of my homework.

I look at my watch, it's already an hour away. "How about you? It's bad to leave a girl alone in school at this time." I said as she looked up. "Never mind, I have work to be done here." She faked a smile but I grabbed her wrist, "I'll bring you home, just tell me the way." I smiled and I switch off everything and also locked the door for her.

I walk her back home, it was just at the other side of the road. She's staying with her brother at here only on weekdays and weekends in their high-classy mansion with her parents which are much further away from school. "Thanks for sending me back home." She said. I shook my head, "No big deal. See you tomorrow." I smiled as I turn around to walk back home alone.

Jinshi's POV
"Jin?" I called before he took his step back to his house. "Yea?" He asked as he looked back, "Th- never mind, just get out from here." I said then I turn around.

"Welcome. Goodnight." I feel his smiling and I smiled.. someone who actually made me smile twice today, after all I never smile ever since that incident. I turn back to thanked him for real but he was gone. "Don't let your guard off, he may be just another friend who wants your money." Jaehyo's voice echoed in my mind.

"Probably.." I sighed as I entered my house. "Hyung, I'm back." I muttered then a figure stood right in front of me. "Where did you go?" It's not my brother's voice. I looked up and saw Zico standing right in front of me, "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm having a sleepover here with the others. They're watching movie now, you haven't answer my question." He said.

"I never say I want to answer your questions too." I said coldly and walk upstairs and he followed. "Don't follow me." I said and he stopped me from walking.

"Why do you always have to wear that eye patch in the night? It looks hideous on you, take it off." He demanded and I scoffed. I walk into my room and banged my door hard to let him know it's none of his business.

I sit in front of my table and looked at the time, it's almost 12am, my head starts to hurt a bit and I'm feeling kind of tired. "Get some sleep before the eye got wrong Jinshi." I sighed then changed into pajamas and took some painkillers before drifting myself to sleep.

Btw... I got message from my secret readers (silent readers, mostly) They've been asking about erm.. the eye. So here's the explanation, the eye Jinshi had / you had, it like a human eyeball in the day so it wouldn't be known as an artificial eye.

As what I wrote above about the glowing purple color, it's like a robot eyeball in the night. So.. hope this might help you to understand more about the eye. ^^
