*No one's POV*

"Huh, I never expected that to happen," Yugi mumbled while a hand in the sand and the other linked.

The two had finally met, both their hearts pounding. After a small talk and a long drawn out hug they sat on the beach.

Yugi wasted no time in lying down on Yami's lap making his heart almost jump out his chest. Meanwhile the free hand of Yami's has found it's way in stroking some of Yugi's odd hair strands.

"So we went out on a date and that's when it happened. Damn my first date and then that happens," Yugi laughed but Yami was feeling bad now. A first date and he ended up in a hospital and memories lost.

"I promise, if we ever go for another I will make sure everything will go right," Yami went on as Yugi giggled as he was realizing that Yami had only told him of the good and not the bad. But with a deep sigh, Yami moved his arms to wrap around Yugi and hold him close. "I supposed the good is done now. So the bad?"

Yugi nodded his head, now his hands were on top of Yami's to ease his nerves.

"I don't even know how many I have killed or injured. I have lost count on the stories of the cuts on my body. The only ones I can remember is with you. Your brother, Atem didn't trust me at first and it took a while for him to trust me. I don't even know if he fully trusted me."

"So I don't blame him for wanting to keep you away from me, but for not telling you everything is just wrong."

After Yami had finished speaking, he looked down and saw that Yugi was bawling. "HeY Angel why are you crying now!?!" Yami yelled out and made Yugi sit up. He rolled down his sleeves and wiped the bottom of his eyes.

"I-It's just....you've been through so much. H-How did this happen? W-Who forced you to be like this," Yugi whimpered as he sniffled.

"My and Heba's father. Oh yeah just in case you didn't know he is my brother. He used to beat us and chain us up if we disobeyed him. I was immune to seeing people being hurt from a young age but Heba wasn't. He was more forced into this life than I was. We took life when we were just children so we could never get out innocence back."

Yami tried to think if there was anything else that he could tell Yugi but he believed he had told him everything. Now there was only one more other question he had to ask Yugi, the question that would either mend or destroy his heart.

"With everything I have told you know Yugi. I need to know, how is it you feel about all of this. With everything I have unloaded to you, about our past and even how much of an asshole I have been. Are you scared of me?"

"No, weirdly enough I'm not scared of you," Yugi mumbled finally stopping crying. But that was only half of the question answered. "And even though my heart is racing right now...I-I don't know if I love you. Yes when we kissed I felt something then but-"

Yami leaned down and kissed him on his forehead shutting him up.

"This will take time for you to figure out, and I won't force anything onto you. It may hurt but you are more important to me than anyone else. So I'll wait for you, even if you choose to not love me again then I will deal with it," Yami went on with his soul cracking on the inside.

Yugi went silent as he held Yami's hand, putting on a strong show even though his head was riddled with thoughts and confusion.

The pair sat there, not really knowing what to say to the other, meanwhile they had a spectator. Takashi.

He wanted to watch over basically one of his sons meeting up with a some what of a ex to him. It seemed to be going well from where he was standing just for the fact he couldn't hear anything.

But the thing he couldn't do was to tell Yami not to see him, as he was having his own meet up with another he hasn't seen in a while.

"It's been a while Takashi," he heard and turned. The youngest was standing there, smiling widely as he jumped into his arms.

"It has Heba, you've gotten skinny," Takashi joked but held him close. He thought Heba had grown, he was up to his shoulders.

Takashi moved him, having a look at his face. A new fresh cut was on it, looking like it had only just stopped bleeding. He placed a finger on it gently, Heba not flinching and shaking his head.

"Some group tried to rob me. Took everything in me to not snap their neck," Heba sighed and looked at the pair lying down. "Nothing can keep them apart eh?"

"I don't think it's going smoothly, but I expected it to go like that," Takashi said while going to back hug Heba look over as well. "Please for the live of Ra don't tell Atem about this."

"Oh he already knows, Yami has never been the best to hide things."

Well he was now dead, Takashi thought. But the risk is worth it, hence he was there meeting Heba.

"You two should come for dinner one day. We can work our way to Atem," Takashi suggested bot gaining an answer. He removed himself from Heba as both began to walk away.

"I dunno. He hates to be left by himself. We do have a roommate but he is....well he's something," Heba joked but Takashi understood.

It was getting dangerous for them all to be together so close like this, as much as they have tried to stay clear of trouble. There was always someone lurking around a corner.

Takashi mentioned that he should leave, before one of the others come and hunt him down, meanwhile Heba was starting to get calls from Atem whining about their date night.

With a final hug goodbye, the two went on their own ways but not before having a look at the 'love birds'.

Yugi was being tickled by Yami who was smiling his head off looking at him.

Seems like I can never stay put eh? I have been dealing with a lot of personal issues, so I haven't been able to write or keep up with anything.

Hopefully now I can get back on track with my writing and not disappoint you guys no longer.

So the puzzleshipping pair is on a break for now, with Yugi's mind still being cloudy. Will that clear up soon and sun start to shine? Or will the storm take over and rain down with tear?
